The movement is a Miyota 82S0 with a customized rotor. Weird that they wrote made in Germany on it.
I mean, japan, german…, world war theming…, seems familiar eh?
"Made in" means only "assembled" so nothing's weird actually 😂
Of course, its a custom rotor made in germany after all.
Great video!
Inspired me to get the quartz version 40mm on bracelet.
It's thinner too. 9mm.
I had the "Aachen" Oliv edition in 39mm, wore even smaller as the lugs were quite short.
0:56 it did that little 3 second skip thing even while running normally. There’s definitely something wrong with this German made Miyota movement
Yeah, there is no way I would ever buy a watch with a Miyota 8000 series movement.
Time skip hit
It is a nice looking watch, its size is also nice and it is one of the classic flieger watch brands, but I sold it because it is too thick and the lume is very short-lived except for the instant shine for a pilot's watch.
0:56 Why did the second hand jump like that 😢 Omnissiha bless this machine
Maybe do a video of the laco augsburg grau 39 in bracelet.
Love this watch!
Oh I'd love to see this in person!
For me personally, the 18mm lugs on this one turn me off but the Pro Fliegers and their sub seconds 39mms are brilliant looking with perfect sizing.
I own this piece and the 18mm lugs really work well on the wrist, don’t let that out you off
@@george88pizza43 it’s really not the fit that puts me off it’s the fact I have no 18mm straps😂 But I’d love to have the small seconds CUXHAVEN 39.
Please do a video on Seestern s434/s435
the lume mismatch between the indices and the hands really puts me off, if they could just switch everything out to a stark white BGW9 lume it would look so much better imho
Sinn already did this with the 556A
556 is like from 2008, and the case of 556 is just from 656, but brushed instead of beadblasted. Also the 656 case is from 2001 and is based on 356 chronograph.
never really been interested in pilot watches until now
I dont understand, why would anyone in the world choose the no anti-reflective coating version though?
On this one, he never says goodbye 🤣
My forearms are all swollen and inflamed from trimming poison oak, except in a dive-watch sized band where my beater prevented skin contact. My Aachen 39 with its narrow strap is the only watch I can comfortably wear at the moment.😂
Also, I've got a 6.5" wrist and the end of the strap is just barely contained by the keepers. I don't think the factory strap would fit someone with a 7" wrist or bigger.
I dont understand why you have 2 different channels that does the exact same thing???
lug width is laughable
Its for aesthetics. Original Fliegers had 55mm cases hence the narrow lugs to retain the oversize appearance in a smaller package.
German brand innit. Make good pilot watches
18mm strap 😅 i think i know who their target audience is 😅
As you can guess from the name.... it might be popular amongst the MAGA crowd.
