+Ghita Andrei yeah, you can really feel it, im like 185 or so and you can feel the huge change, when you tug in on the tank.. Anyways, the bike feels pretty stable until 180km/h when it starts to shake very much.. unfortunately i did this video in very tropical weather, what caused to spit oil through bearings and i forgot to check the oil level, so my crankshaft died in another 300kms (100kms a day). Right now i have my engine disassembled on parts and I am waiting for money to get it repaired, i hope I will get it back running till spring. Have a nice time and thanks for view. :)
+Ghita Andrei Good news, the engine is being rebuilt now, expect first start video in about 3-4 days! :) (engine got planted back in in its home, i will plug all the wires, reassemble everything and go for a ride again!)
Heart'N'Soul Motorsport- Sir,I am planning to buy a Virago 535. What is your opinion on it. I believe you have ridden enough on it. I have to ride 40 miles one way to my work, and around 30 miles on motorway at 70m/hr. So, a day, I will be riding the bike 80 miles. Do you think it affect the engine badly riding 80 miles a day, at around 70 miles/hr?
i think doing 70 is fine for the engine.. I am almost every day riding the bike even more that that, sometimes up to 95mph, and the engine is pretty okay with it... Just give it enough of good oil and change it as you should and you will not have any problems. I am abusing it really hard and it is still going strong. I am working on a build with this machine right now, so we will see how the engine holds up to that :D
Ali Zurix you just floor it and pray 😂 the motor has been fully rebuilt with polished and ported head with slightly higher compression and exhausts with better flow (leovince silvertail) so i guess thats why
Heart'N'Soul thanks for the reply. what do u think I should get the xv 250 or 535? I ride mostly in city and sometimes highway but I heard some people said the 250 would he too slow.. is that true ?
Ali Zurix go for the 535 absolutely.. when you want to overtake safely, you will want more power for sure. and the price in my country is not that different.
man... almost 200 kph? that's insane, the bike is supposed to deliver 160 tops... maybe downhill you gain a few extra points... but almost 200? what did you put in that engine? I have a 535 as well. Thanks a lot man!
Hi, the engine has slightly higher compression (about 0.5mm taken off from the heads to make them even) and LeoVince exhaust (silvertail) other than that it is completely stock. And yes, it was slightly downhill
@@Forgottencarssup to 100 km an hour they are pretty good for acceleration but it's slow to get to 160 after that. The fastest I've had mine was 105 mph. Completely stock with a gutted exhaust.
120 ... v mílích v hodině .... tak jakože na pohodu, víš jak ... virago 535 podle výrobce dá max 100mph, ale prej to borec trochu poladil ... žádnej flex, jen fakta
Dosent the wind bother you at those speeds? When i exceed about 110 km/h gets very windy for me, and im just 170cm tall..

+IllegalRiderzz Sorry to hear that.

that's scary to hear, i want one of these bikes... it would be my first bike ever...
@@TrollMusicTV 180 km/h. Have you improved it in any way? My 535 tops out at around 150 km/h...

Thanks- what you think about dragstar 650?
Peter K i dont like the dragstar visually, i dont know anything about it technical-wise
Is it an original engine sound or you upgrade your exaust pipes?
Silvertail exhaust with some improvements
Už sa neviem dočkať sezóny kedy si takto zajazdim :) k videu by bodla dobrá rock-ová muzička :)
It was looking scary couple of times
how the hell did you manage to get such high speeds ? nobody with a 535 got this speed

I was going to say the same thing! Stock motor and jets with a debaffle on the exhaust. It crawls up to speed and has trouble holding 80. Lol
I guess highway is going downhill there. I couldn't believe my eyes that thing doing like 120 mph!!!
your valvules are not working well
Valve clearances are OK, chain tensioners are the ones ticking
how to solve that?

how does it accelerate?
