I don’t know what it is, but girls like Cassy are way more attractive then those insta barby-dolls. And not even tear was give about a busted pink which showed blooded up at the end. Keep up the nice way of living Cassy. All the best wishes and greets from the Netherlands.

I have been know to use a little starting fluid .. but you have to know what you ar doing and not use too much .. I said starting fluid .. because Staring fluid is 50% Propane and 50% Either.. John Deere starting fluid is 80% Either you can blow your engine up .. You can use it to seat the beads on truck tires too !!!!!

Only got to see this video a year late.
I have 2 ATVS and one of them is a pain to pull the battery out of it’s case where it sits. Especially being an Atv it gets dirt packed in around it.
In order to make it easier to remove the battery I take a piece of an old ratchet strap and tie it in a loop around the battery. This way I can use the strap to pull the battery out of it’s position. You can also use a piece of heavy string.
It saves a lot of frustration and hurt knuckles and fingers.
Love your videos Cassie and your sweet gentle personality.

Make a note on your registration, when you replaced the battery.
I think the other battery was ok, you just need to turn the motor over a number of times.
When you do that the carborators have a chance to refill with gas.
Great video! Love that you tackled it yourself!

Hello Cassie, Now there's a surprise, you drive trucks AND you ride motorcycles.
Can I make a few suggestions. Buy a battery charger that can recondition a battery (about AUS$150 in Australia). Saves buying a new one each year.
At the end of summer disconnect the negative pole to store the bike over winter. It should not discharge if it's not connected to anything.
Adjust the handle bars for a more comfortable riding position, but I suspect you have figured that already.
Those V twins are nice. Stay safe on the road. Cheers

Good job! Btw, I ride a Valkyrie and a Honda VT600. I installed progressive springs in the forks and tapered bearing in the steering stem. The 600 is a whole new bike. The progressive springs eliminates the dive on braking and the tapered bearings lets you carve the turns.

Great video Cassie. Ther is a lot of satisfaction in fixing your own and making it run again. As mentioned below I did notice a connector getting between the main seat and frame. You have probably fixed it by now but mentioning it just in case. Have a safe ride, be very wary of the cars they don't see motorcycles well. That is why I quit riding motorcycle here in the US, too many cars that don't look.

Hi Cassie, Good video. If you own a bike, it's a good thing to know something about it other then knowing where to stick the key in.. My youngest son owner an older 750 Yamaha Virago at one time. It was a learning process for him. It had ape hanger handlebars. The handlebars, where the rider has to reach up high to drive it. He enjoyed the bike and did most of the work himself. Cassie enjoy your bike. Nothing like being on the open road with the wind blowing though your hair. Stay safe and always look out for the other drivers on the road. Take care.

Petrol goes bad during the winter, especially if it's an unheated garage. My bikes has always been very grumpy at the first start in the spring, lot's of cranking and they don't really fire up properly. Low on power too when you get out on the road. I never wanted to throw away the petrol so I ran them down to almost empty in the tank, and at the next fill up with new fresh petrol they got back to the old form.
I think the grumpiest one I had was a Suzuki 850, had it on my balcony the whole winter, one of the cold winters in the 1980's. Cheers / B

Love it and the smile on your face when it started. I must say I'm very luck with batteries in motorbikes. I've owned Kawasaki ninja 250r for 8 years (bought it new in 2009) and still now the owner of that bike has the same (first and original battery) and it starts up, we both don't charge it during the winter. Now I own a Kawasaki z900 for 3 years (also bought it new) never charge the battery and starts with no problem. The only problem now is this corona virus and can't ride my love :(
    Stay safe and have fun!

Those darned motorcycle batteries, expensive and they don't last long. But I agree that if you can put a battery tender on it that would preserve the battery for a few years perhaps. The danger always with motorcycles or any equipment with a battery and if it sits in below freezing weather is if the battery goes completely dead and cracks oozing out the acid and why the safest way is to remove the battery and then put it on a tender or charge it once in a while with a normal battery charger. Oh and not that I have had anything to do with the Virago but with any carb type motorcycle if one can get access to the float bowl drains to drain them out before storage and that means turning off the fuel at the tank first, as this procedure helps eliminate fuel evaporation and leaving behind the sticky gunk in the bowl. The other issue that happens is the fuel left in the bowls becomes "dead" as the volatile components of the fuel evaporate off through the vent system and why the engine seems to have such a difficult time to start after sitting for months. Even though the fuel in the gas tank is the same age it seems to stay in better shape although not perfect either. But draining through fuel from the fuel tank into the bowls can make all the difference in how the bike starts up and yes in a perfect world if the gas was drained/sucked from the tank and fresh fuel poured in and then into the bowls before starting would be the most ideal. I came across a video which while is not your exact motorcycle, the carbs may be similar and what I wanted you to see Cassie is where the bowl drain screws are and how careful to be in working with them so no damage is done to the carb. I will link the video and just have to watch from the beginning 0:00 to 1:20 as that is the info I wanted to pass along. I think it will amaze you if your able to do a drain procedure on both carbs as to how much better the bike starts and runs come spring. I'd say as well to use some sea foam in your gas every once in a while to help clean the jets as you drive. ua-cam.com/video/QjqFyLEEKOo/v-deo.html

Hey hey, nice bike you have there :-)
But! Unfortunately you have installed the rear part of the seat incorrectly, it must be tight and not be that loose. You have to push the rear end first from front to back into a holder and then push the seat down into the lock. I'm not a mechanic or something but I'm pretty sure about that. Drive safely and have fun! :)

    • @TheSamppasamppa
      @TheSamppasamppa 4 роки тому +2

Hey! I have the exact same bike, and you are right. You have to push the end side in its place first, then push the saddle down. It will make very clear click sound when its in place. If you have it like in the video and you or somebody else sits on it, it will brake the plastic thingy and leave the saddle loose. And I think that someone can even rip the whole damn thing away when its not in place, not that I think its common for people do that, but its better to be safe than sorry! BTW nice video!

Jag gillar färgen på din båge 🏍 den va riktigt fin. 🙂 Va kul att den startade efter batteri bytet glad för din skull. 😀 Hoppas det går bra med ditt finger och att det läker bra. ❤ 🙂

Buy an Optimate. Plug it in whenever you park. Keeps battery properly and is cheaper than a new battery.

Do your dogs ever go for rides? Also pinky injuries are the worst, you think you never use that finger but it hits everything AFTER the injury.

You are quite the young lady, truck driver scooter owner and you do some of the repairs. 😎😎🙂
Where is Viggo's seat ? And on the scooters I've owned that was called a P pad. Lol 😏

My poor motorbike(Yamaha tdm 850 from 1998) is 10 years old which is parked in the garage and it will be 5-6 years since I turn it on.
