I got mine 535 last year. Now I passed it to my dad. She's 33 years old right now, still purrs like a kitten, no oil comsumption, power is still there at your hand, but considering her age, we don't torment her with such rpm's that long :) We plan to keep this old lady alive as long as possible :)
You madman haha! Ive a 535 since Dec, have done quite a bit of work upgrading parts and safety on it. Getting it uptp fun speeds but not taking a corner at 100MPH (yet)
picking up a 95 535 in a couple of weeks. as someone whos 6'3 do you think its too small to start on? this will be my first bike but i havent had a chance to see it since its in the shop right now
Thank you very much, the video is taken in northern Czech republic. If you buy this bike with vital engine, I am pretty sure it is worth it, because it is pretty fast but comfortable.
Awesome motorcycle I’m getting one tomorrow morning a 1993 Yamaha Virago 535 with 2300 original miles $500 bucks clean title. This guy ride way to fast on the Neighborhood scary
For a real sporty ride get an XV 500, its predecessor. About 5 hp more, a shorter wheelbase, and monoshock. You can ride it really sporty, if you're inclined to do so.
Hi! Great bike! I also have XV 535 from 1994 (now I'm building new school bobber on top of it). I cannot speak Chech, but I can understand while reading ;) Somewhere in the comments you told that you have KN air filter here. Can you please tell me which one? Because I cannot find any for Virago 535 in their catalogue :(
do you have stock pipes? it sounds really nice. I'm thinking of getting a 535 and then later on upgrading to the 750, but depending on how much i like the 535 i might just stick with it, have you ridden both? if so could you give me your opinions and comparisons? greetings from the UK ^,^
So what's this thing like to take around corners? My only experience on two wheels is a naked-shaped moped. How's it feel? I'm considering one of these or a GS500 or similar. This is definitely more stylish, but I'm a little concerned about the cornering feel.
Bladsmith for me, it corners like a dream. i was able to keep up with my friend on 600 fazer 70kw machine without single problems.. he got me on straights but i made up in corners
+darnoku Thanks man, it is very agile.. the footsteps are the limit for this bike.. i have like 2cm more to go on tyres, but it wont go.. it is really so much fun riding it..anyways it is a litle bit faster, because i have it tuned for my SilverTail pipes and I am about to polish my heads to make the engine run even better! :)
Crazy :D Thanks to you I checked one virago today and believe me I'm far from your experience, but it's all about riding habits and different bike. Prbably I will buy and tune pipes, and few things. You've changed my understanding of 35 "weak" cruiser ;) Cheers man
+darnoku Hey dude, how is it going with your Virago? i just rebuilt my own engine and i will post start engine video soon, I hope you will check it out lol.. if you have any technical difficulties, i could help you somehow... the rebuild vid and first start coming in like 3 days!
yeah, thats enough speed for its power. i think virago is reliable and cheap bike when you give it some care, warm it/cool it down properly and have good oil for your weather conditions. I am pretty happy with 10W-60 oil becaue of hot summers.
I bought one in 1996 and I am still riding it 21 years later.
Who says xv 535 virago are slow, it's how you ride them, and this rider knows how to ride one.. Brilliant video..
Thanks man!

I really like how the camera is mounted. Stable and a good pov. I never knew these bikes could be ridden so rapidly. Great ride, great video!
shinethelight01 thanks for the reply, viragos are way faster than you think :D
By the way, I installed GT15 turbocharger with 56mm mikuni carb on it. And it works!
@@TrollMusicTV Ah, I guess its not compatible with A2 license this way
Didn't know that the Virago performs so well on European highways and the hilly countryside. Great little bike for central Europe.
It is great bike for all.
Didn't know a 535 can be that fast!
+Ghita Andrei Same here dude, but it rolls pretty damn fast for its short gear ratios :D
I have a 535 1998 17,00 miles. Love it great bike.

this little girl is capable mooooore than most people think :D have fun with this little beauty and ride safe! :)

Beautiful video to watch, thinking of getting a virago myself. May I ask what country this was filmed in? Some of the scenery is amazing.

Love this bike!
Amazing bike! Love it! Yamaha rules!!!!

I have XJ600 and XV250. Now I want XV535 too 💀

Silvertail with mufflers removed, 535 Is a lovely Machine, i didnt Have an opportunity to ride 750 tho..
750 is not faster than 43-45 hp Virago 535
@@TrollMusicTV it's been 2 years but now I've bought my own 535 project that I've nearly completed, I can't wait to get it on the road and ride it

Cool! Definitely no contest then. I assume you have the stock footpegs, not moved forward like some people do?
I got sweat on some turns I can tell ;) Didn't expect that little bastard can cut roads that quick. Nice skills man! Is it tires or breaks on 2:50?
+darnoku Thanks man, it is very agile.. the footsteps are the limit for this bike.. i have like 2cm more to go on tyres, but it wont go.. it is really so much fun riding it..anyways it is a litle bit faster, because i have it tuned for my SilverTail pipes and I am about to polish my heads to make the engine run even better! :)

pěkný :D
newton1998139 diky :D
did you do any thing to make it this fast ? my XV535 Virago from 1990 is not this fast...at all !
What is the fuel consumption on this thing? Ive heard its reeeeealy high. Nice video man!
Thanks man, the fuel consumption was pretty OK to me, about 5L/100km with this riding style
Pěkně to jede, mam stejnou ale takto mi to nejede. Dělal jsi nějaké úpravy, jsem z LBC.

Love it. Is that France?
northern Czeck
Bro holy, how much hp ?
Nice

+Emirkhan Mootlak Thanks man :)
Driving to fast..this is how you character get killed and everybody else pay high insurance rates..
con i cinghiali in giro io starei piu' calmo.. qui il fenomeno non lo faresti a lungo.. vai piano ciccio... anche se al massimo farai 120
what is the top speed?
about 200km/h on the board tacho when it is well tuned, thats my best.
damn. on 535cc bike that is more than enough.
i actually have an sr125, but when i get a licence for a bigger bike, i am thinking about buying a virago

no matter the bike, you have take care of it properly, but yamaha is a tough bike
