Went there many times, loved walking around the shed end see how far we could get around before getting buzzed.Great away days are always special turning over a cockney side in their back ground
I remember thinking United looked the real deal after this win, you had started clicking into gear and Mark Hughes was unplayable here. I still cant believe this United side didn't win the league in this season (91-92), We got a 1-1 (I think) draw at Old Trafford in the Spring and then United seemed to get the jitters - from memory, I think an Easter Monday defeat at home to Forest and defeats at West Ham and Liverpool finally done it for you,. Big and noisy United following on this afternoon (to be fair it was the same every time you lot came down), I remember watching the old north stand going mad every time you scored and thinking how good it looked. I suppose it was one football's enigmas - United always winning at Stamford Bridge and we would always get something out of a trip to yours. Great memories all the same, win or lose and all that.
Was going to go to this game, but it was a freezing cold Dec Sunday and the match was live on ITV. Watched from comfort of living room. Didn't fancy being an away fan at Chelsea either!
I was there. My Dad and I. Went to Chelsea as a United fan for 3 seasons running until 93/94. That was the last one, as the terraces went after that. It wasn’t the same.
Saying keeper badly place what a load of shit the free kick went over the wall which didn't jump much the wall supposed to cover part goal for Hitchcock but as a keeper I would had a man on post if they had no goal
this takes me back,my mate fell asleep under the floodlight pylon a little tipsy, great awaydays pre Premier days when we could stand!

That was my first experience at Stamford Bridge, funny seeing cars parked next to the pitch. Great memories.

Remarkable win at Chelsea....you seem to have a fantastic United collection of old games!
