Great video Rogue! Frontier is looking great!
Thank you‼️
Nice video. Love the Xterra!! Thank for sharing.
👍 Be sure to check out our other rig walk around videos‼️
Thinking of purchasing a Frontier ,thanks for the info
No problem! You might find this one interesting also:

Sweet i have the 2018 pro4x and i went with 3 inch lift bilstine 5100 and the alldogs Offroad upper control arm's and completely removed the sway bar
Nice! Sounds like a solid setup. Thanks for the comment!
I have the same Nisstec lift on my 09 CC/LB. It's a shame Nisstec went under. I had a very good experience with them. Now I'm looking for a new company to work with since Nisstec is gone.
Are they completely out of business? If so it’s a shame as they were one of the few solid Nissan companies.
@@RogueOverland
From everything I can see they are. It sounds like some people have more details about what is behind the closure on the Frontier forums, but I don't know how accurate any of it is.
It's a real bummer.
NICE JOB GUYS!COOL SHIT BROTHER 👏 👌
Thank you!
Great video maybe do review in a few months on how they perform
Thanks!
Nice 👍
Thank you 👍
Nice video, and it's not going to hurt anything to grind off a little more clearance on the strut tower. As long as you don't grind half way through! Lol
Thank you!
A fine instructional video! I have a 2019 Pro 4X with an Old Man Emu lift which netted a lift of: 1-3/4" Front and 2-3/4" Rear which levels out when loaded for overland or towing. The stock front suspension has a rubber stop on an arm that engages the lower control arm to prevent the UCA from conflicting with the coil overs on the drop. This limits travel, but would still be needed with your set-up. How did you modify it to get additional drop ?
Sounds like a nice setup! The spacer above the coil and grinding part of the coil bucket gives the extra down travel.
Great info, i own a 15 Xterra pro4x with the MK84 nisstec lift kit.
Rear Lift: OME CS061R HD Leaf Pack
Rear Shocks: 5100 Ext Travel Bilsteins (1.5 inch)
Front Cam Bolt Kit
Front Coilover Spring Rate: 600 Standard(2.5 inch)
Spring Color: Standard silver
Body Lift : No Body lift
Tires 285 75 16 Toyo AT3
Upper arm controls SPC
I might upgrade the front suspension, i want add reservoirs just for my like.
Awesome build!
How's your mpg?
@@pohoholoholo5712 The mpg when it was bone stock was 14 mpg sometimes 15 mpg with the suspension upgrade it went to 15.8
I also added the banks pedal monster not much change on mpg but the gas pedal it's a bit sensitive.
@@pohoholoholo5712 forgot to mention the front suspension has been upgraded to radflo 2.5 with reservoirs.
Maybe i missed it but a lot of trucks you need to cut one of the 2 uca bolts as it is installed backwards at the factory, and wont slide all the way out.
We didn’t have that problem. Thanks for the question though.
What height did you set the front and rear to? I don't think I heard that in the video. Also what size tires and wheels are you running? Great video, thanks!
285/75R16. Coils were about an inch from the top and the shackle was in the middle hole.
Here is another Frontier walk around video you might enjoy:
ua-cam.com/video/Zgv-i87lZ0E/v-deo.html
Great video. thanks for sharing. what brand is your tub rack?
As I recall that one was Rhino Rack.
Did you guys go with adjustable sway bar end links? If not do you get the squeak from the sway bar bushings?
No we didn’t and no squeaky. . Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
Nice video, what year and model? SV with long box? Do you have a rear locker? If so, any info on it? Thanks
Correct, it’s an SV long box. No locker as those come on the pro-4x. You might find this video interesting if you are looking for more info on frontier builds:

Nice video! Will those parts apply for an xTerra off road 2005? What do you recommend?
Not all of them. Our recommendation has a lot to do with what you intent to use the Xterra for. Your best bet is to give Nisstec Lifts a call, tell them you were watching this video, tell them what your vehicle is, and tell them how you intent to use it. They will point you in the right direction.

It would be great to know if with this kit if the sway bars need to be removed in order to get the full articulation or ?
Good question. Most likely yes but give Nisstec at call and let them know you watched the Rogue Overland video and are curious about that. They should be able to help you out. . Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
I’ve had my sway bar off since I got suspension done. Way better for articulation.
What size tires are you running? I like the stance
285/75R16. Thanks for watching. Check out this video for another frontier we did a full walk around of:
ua-cam.com/video/Zgv-i87lZ0E/v-deo.html
Got a question ?? Did the Upper control arm from SPC fit on its mount without any modification? because on my 2022 frontier, i did have to cut and bend the back side of the mount in order for the bushing housing of the UCA to fit on the mount. SPC's bushing/housing is a lot bigger than the stock UCA.
Yes, on the 2nd gen frontier it fit without modifying the mount.
Thanks for the info!
Honest opinion and I know you have a Tacoma is the Toyota suspension better engineered? Just seems like every gen 2 on the trail is a creakfest. While i see people getting airborne in the Toyota's with no drama at the landing.
It all comes down to maintenance in our experience. We’ve been in the trail with plenty of Toyota’s and Nissan’s that have had that problem. A well maintained rig will almost always perform well. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
Are you going to do and update review anytime soon?
Nothing on the books yet but the kit has been performing well so far!
What weight leaf spring is that. I have an xterra and am heavy. I am planning on getting that suspension.
2” of lift and +700 lbs over stock. . Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
@@RogueOverland oh ok, thanks for the info
There isn't a really good video on how to trim for 33s safely yet. If yall did that it would be awesome.
Thanks for the input. We will keep that in mind for a future video
Were you able to reattach the front sway bar with this lift kit?
Yes.
Are these coil overs lower mount quite or a little noisy like Radflos?
No noise so far!
Which kit is this the 2” or 3”. Was going to pull the trigger on the MK84 kit then everything changed. Thanks and ready to get my frontier to match my Xterra.
It’s the extended travel kit, so it’s the longest travel available. Hope that helps. If you still have questions give them a call and let them know you were curious about the lift in the Rogue Overland video and they will help you out. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
@@RogueOverland Ok thanks, nothing listed on the site as “Extended Travel” just 2”, 3”, 4”. Thinking 3” anyways.
Super noob question here, is this compatible with the 22 pro4x?
I believe Nisstec has a lift for the 22 Pro4x but give them a call to confirm. Just let them know you were watching our video and have some questions, they will take care of you.
I have a 2wd 2005 frontier and my oem upper control arm hits the strut tower. Do I need to get off road upper control arms to stop the noise of bumps?
You might need to have your mechanic take a look. In stock form there shouldn’t be any clearance issues like that. Maybe your bump stops are shot??
any one by chance know if the mkII kits will work on the gen 3 pro 4x 2023? The 4wheel parts guys in my neighborhood is telling me that they are not ment to go on pro 4x ?
We believe it does but best to call Nisstec directly and they can tell you.
Hey Nick, solid vid for the Nissan-ers.
By chance, does nisstec still do front lifts for first gen Xterra’s? (UCAs, ball joints, kits, etc.) Thanks in advance!!
You best bet for the first gent is www.4x4parts.com
Their articulator kit is awesome!
To avoid having to grind the coil bucket, couldn’t you just install a Titan upper control arm? You’d avoid your whole bucket.
where can I buy the Leaf Pack back
Nisstec is out of business so you may try reaching out to All Dogs Offroad or Alcan springs.
If i put 6 inches struts. I need to put the old kit????
Best to call Nisstec directly for technical support.
what shackles is this ? link please thanks
Reach out to Nisstec and they can get you taken care of:
nissteclifts-com.3dcartstores.com
Anti-seize should definitely not be used on any threads, And you definitely don’t need it on your ball joint shaft?
Thanks for the input.
Is this Bilstein 5125 or 5100 ? 15:44
5125s outfitted with Nisstec custom bushings and sleeves. Thanks for watching. Be sure to check out our walk around and adventure videos.
What size tires are on this truck?
285/75 R16
What’s the bedrack that’s a on the frontier?
It’s one that Cascadia Vehicle Tents did a short run of. The one on the 3rd gen Frontier in their video is from Rhino Rack:
ua-cam.com/video/i0uJu0oztLo/v-deo.html
Hi Nick, I have a 2017 Nissan Titan pro4x and I want to lift it, does Nisstec has that lift for my truck? Thanks for those videos and I hope we have more videos I have been follow you for years and I like your videos specially the ones about Nissans because there aren’t a lot in UA-cam
No the same lift but they do have options for the Titan. Give them a rig and let them know we sent you over, they will take good care of you.
Thank you! Cannot express how much we appreciate your support.
@@RogueOverland thanks i will, and like i said keep doing videos, I like them specially Nissan
04:00 you still have anti-sway bars? LOL. CANVAZ 2019
😂. GAME CHANGER‼️
Will this setup work on a 05 pathfinder?
Not 100% sure. Give Nisstec a call to confirm. Let them know you found them through our video and they will take good care of you!
@@RogueOverland they are in australia. ? Lol im watching from canda
Remove that sway bar. Feels way better off road
Thanks for the tip‼️ . Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.
if you like that prerunner status
We always consider prerunner style to be low rear higher front.
@@RogueOverland are you guys local to Nisstec? can you find out what's going on with them? are they closed?
Where can I get the kit?
nissteclifts-com.3dcartstores.com
Tell them you say their lift on our video and they will take care of you.
how many inches is the maximum without having to adjust brake line or other connections?
Best to ask Nisstec to confirm but as we recall 2”.
not a good design stud would be better at the top
Thanks for the input. That would have made lining it up easier.
