Z1 Air intake is where it is at!!!!! I love the way it was made. This team at Z1 reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally did their homework on it. Great job!!!!! Great Video!!!!! Keep it up!!!!!!!
Nice list. First thing I did to my 2019 Frontier PRO4-X was canopy, then LT 265/75-16 Duartacs. After blowing my leaf packs, upgraded to Oldman Emu leafs with Bilstien 5125 in the back and 5100's up front. Did a little trim to go to the updated TA/KO3 285/75-16. Went to LED headlights and Duo LED foglights. Next up I am thinking stainless extended brake lines and yellowstuff break pads. Then maybe exhaust and air intakes.
Sure, we can do that but for anyone interested he has a build thread on that truck here www.clubfrontier.org/threads/spencer%E2%80%99s-project-frontier.379821/
Did you fix the little hiccup with your air intake yet? Most reviews show an issue with fitment. Are you close to making this change of the design? Been holding off because of this. Thanks
Thank you for the interest, YES! fitment is no longer an issue with our V2 kit. We updated the fitment of some of the rubber gromets and install guide.
@@z1off-road excellent. I just want to be reassued when I order I'm not getting the version #1 that's been sitting in stock. Prehaps your wesite description should say that it's Version #2 (re-design fitment issue fixed) had I not watched your youtube I wouldn't have known this. Thanks your on top of it!
I would add charcoal canister rerouting to the mix. If you drive on dirt roads, it will get plugged and you will get check engine light on. Looks like the new Frontiers suffer from the same design. If you buy Pro4x just to get to Lowes, then you got nothing to worry about...
SAD No aftermarket lockers/limited slip units for Non-pro models. Requireing a complete axle exchange… We wanted to edd to our Nissan …too expense to get another axle..
Do you guys have a recommendation list of essentials for a frontier? I take my frontier on dirt roads often, and not on all out off roading trails. Would love a recommendation video that has lifespan upgrades, style upgrades, and off-roading mods that you guys feel essential. completely decking my truck out would be awesome, but I don’t have that kind of money. If you guys did make one and I just can’t find it, please reply with its name. Love the vids, keep it up!
The frontiers are very capable right out of the box, but some skids and tires go a long way if you are planning on blasting down some dirt roads. Next would be an intake and exhaust. Then suspension upgrades. Start in stages, don't worry about trying to do it all at once.
My stock 2013 SV 4x4 goes to the same places the guys with all the Mods go for the most part. It's a great truck as is. The next thing I'd change is a titan swap suspension and larger tires.
Yes, we have both the Xterra and Titan swap FUCAs available. www.z1offroad.com/z1-products/z1-off-road/nissan-xterra-front-upper-control-arms-by-z1-off-road-p-40656.html
Nissan needs to build it. Not sure what their issue was. Nissan needs a change in leadership. They need to get somebody in there that's going to make some changes.
Great choice! There are lots of great options for modding this truck, but depending on the use of your truck, this could be different for everyone. A lot of people will start with wheels/tires and a lift, and others will roll with some performance upgrades like a Cold Air Intake or a Intake Manifold Spacer. Be sure to check out Z1offroad.com for all the upgrades you need for your truck!
@z1off-road I like going camping where no one camps, hunting where the road warriors don't go, and fishing at lakes that are typically inaccessible. The FIRST upgrade any offroad enthusiast needs are a good set of tires and a pump... the extras after that just help you get further and out of trouble easier. For example, I didn't think I really wanted a winch bumper until after I got my lift kit and spent 4hrs getting out of a hole with a come-along lol
Bought a 2007 Frontier last summer. i want to swap out stock parts for some of these mods! The first thing I want to do is get new LED Headlights. I love the look of the aftermarket headlights for the 2009+ Frontiers, but the headlights won't fit on my 2007. Anyone know how to make this fit regardless? Would I have to replace the whole front end?
Check 05-09 aftermarket Navara headlight, we have the complete opposite problem here in Australia, same truck as the frontier rebadged for a slightly different market, we have next to nothing in aftermarket headlight for post facelift as they stopped sending D40s to Australia in 2015
Thank you for this. It's great to see nisssn fans are still alive 🎉
Not going anywhere brother ✊🏻
I never was....until I drove one. I don't think I'll ever give my Frontier up now.
I'm a Mopar transplant.😂
Same I wish rough country had more Nissan add ones it's more GM or jeep
They’re so sexy
The white Z1 wide body Frontier is literally the dream build.
One of the top mods should be extended seat rails for more leg room. Out of all the mods for this truck I'm surprised no one has thought of this

Buying a frontier soon this is awesome stuff
Can yall do a build video on that White Pre-Runner build ? A break down ? in depth video about it ?
Sure, we can do that but for anyone interested he has a build thread on that truck here www.clubfrontier.org/threads/spencer%E2%80%99s-project-frontier.379821/
Love my 2006 nismo 4x4. Factory skid plate are awesome.
The heater hose in mine just went out hahaha, I have a 2014. The one from the factory was plastic, so definitely change that
Great video! Great company!
Thanks Aaron, We love watching yours too
I have a 2018 Desert Runner, im turning it into an ACTUAL desert running truck with high-travel suspension!!!!
Great video! Thanks
I'm saving up to go crazy on my 2020.
Excited to see the progress.

Now if I could only find specific parts for my Suzuki Equator.... Like a damn headlight!
Just use the Nissan numbers. From my understanding everything is interchangeable.
Picking up a 2019 pro4x tomorrow ! Do you ship to Canada?
Yes we do, email info@z1offroad.com and they can set you up with a quote that includes shipping.
Can those control arms be used in an Xterra? I understand that both SUVs share the same platform
Yes, we have both the Xterra and Titan swap FUCAs available.

How did you guys get that warrior concept? Did you build it or replicate it?
It’s just on loan from Nissan so fellow enthusiasts can get a chance to see it.
Nissan needs to build it. Not sure what their issue was. Nissan needs a change in leadership. They need to get somebody in there that's going to make some changes.
Lift is more expensive than others due to the design of the suspension. No cam bolts from factory
What size wheels and tires are the ones on this frontier? Dose it have a lift kit??
285/75R18 Yes, with out titan swap kit
what wheels are on the white truck? Looks like a RAYS wheel. Are you using a PCD conversion? Thanks
Using an adapter to 6x139 Ray Gram Lights 57 XR
Buying a 2024 Frontier Pro-4X soon. What's the first mod I should do?
I own a 2022 pro4x. Get the lift and a bumper with hidden winch

What about sliders
WAT FRONT BUMPER &FENDERS?
On the white D40, those are McNeil fiberglass fenders front/rear, with a P&P front bumper (no longer in business) and a ARB rear.
Is it possible to make the 2wd any good?
There are a lot of pre-runner style builds for the D40 that are 2WD. 2WD are way easier to do long travel with.

I got an frontier 2011, 4 door, want a lift kit, but recently bought ned front control arms, what else do i need from z1?
That is going to depend on how you are using your truck. If you are off-roading, I would go with some skid plates and tires after your lift.
On a 2013 Nissan Xterra PRO-4X what rim size do you recommend to clear the upgraded Z1 brake caliper kit?
You need 18in or larger wheel for the big brake kit to work
@@loztsoul77 that would mean a lot less rubber for offroad tire side wall.. Is that what you guys did on the Xterra or Frontier?
We will be releasing our 17" ATK-06 wheels. They have been designed to fit around our BBK
Can you get a front locker?
Yes. Both Harrop and ARB make a locker for the R180. Harrop's is an E-Locker like the rear dif is and ARB is an air locker.
I am from South Africa I would like to find out about importing your products
We ship world wide, reach out to our team and we can get it out to you.
Uh is that flip in the beginning real? Can’t be ,right?
Oh it’s real, i know the guy who drove during that stunt.
What wheels are on the white pre runner?
Rays 57 trans-x
6:28 how do I do the tuning through your website?
Z1 charges for shipping wth $30 for shipping bruh wheres the free shipping?
Bilstein 5100 will lift your truck and feel badass
Anytime you mess with the air intake you Must re tune! Are you telling me that yalls CAI does Not need a tune???
Someone lied to you
The best nissan frontier mod hands down is the complete delete, I had my done at CarMax.
What didn't you like about it?
I need more power, like another 100 hp in this truck. Please make a turbo kit for the v6 3.8 d40
No turbos, but a supercharger will be coming.
