    ---
    At ReDriven, we’ll be taking you through the pros and cons of a huge range of used cars to see how well they’re going now that they’re a few years old, have thousands of kilometres on the clock, and are coming toward the end of their warranty, or maybe don’t have one at all.
    Plus, thanks to our resident mechanic, Jim, you’ll find out what commonly goes wrong with them and what might need to be fixed.
    Most importantly, we want to make ReDriven a voice for the most in-the-know used car experts there are...you guys.. See, you’re the ones that actually buy, live with, love and sometimes unfortunately hate the cars we’ll be reviewing.
    So we want to hear your thoughts. Hit us up in the comments, or on Instagram and Facebook.

    You’ve gotta live with one of these small cars to realise the benefits of owning one. Everything is easier and cheaper. Cheaper to buy and run, easier to get around in and park, easier to wash and keep clean. They make a lot of sense.

      Here in the States we don't have the Kia Picanto. The US government is busy giving trillion dollar tax breaks such as in December 2017 ($2,300,000,000,000 US dollars to billion dollar corporations) while most Americans can only afford to purchase used vehicles ❤.

      I recently bought a 2018 higher spec Yaris.Pretty fast with the 1500cc engine, nice looking alloy wheels and quite fun to drive. The audio sound quality is good too.Great fuel economy and very comfortable and quiet. The SX has an air of quality about it.I like the fact that it still has an ignition key, real handbrake, auto transmission not CVT.The big single windscreen wiper is cool too.I'm an old guy so I prefer older tech.Tried and true.Anyway I paid NZ$12,000 for it and the new ones are about $28,000 after govt. clean car rebate.

    I agree with the previous comment about the Skoda Fabia and/or VW Polo being in the list. Having owned my Polo from new in 2015 and currently with 120000 km on the clock with not as much as blown fuse or even a light bulb I have been hugely impressed since day 1. Wish you'd do a Polo review at some point. I'd offer you mine to test but you'd have to come to Melbourne to do it.

    We bought a 2013 Mazda 2 as our 2nd car (after the 2003 Nissan March gave up the ghost) and wow are we happy with it. It looks great and is loads of fun to drive, manouverable, and plenty practical for its size. The Jazz is a beautiful car to drive and can take some pretty substantial abuse too (was my driving instructor's car) but the other car I'd add to this list as I'd say it fit more in this category than next week's is the Hyundai Getz (and not just because I own one) as they can fit a fair bit into them plus I see multiple businesses using them as company cars because of the reliability of them.
    A few candidates for next week's list that I think will fit the bill are;
    Mazda 3
    Honda Civic
    Hyundai Accent
    Ford Focus
    Nissan Pulsar
    Mercedes W123
    Look forward to Friday's video as always guys and keep up the good work 👍.

      We had few Getz in company fleet, reliable but didn't age well. 100,000km versions felt more tired than 200,00km Japanese rivals. With 100 000kms on clock still far more reliable new GM Spark replacements that spent more time in garage than on the road. We replaced Sparks with used Yaris.

Note: If you're looking at Mazda's, their manuals are by far, better than their autos. Honestly, I wouldn't take a second look at the Yaris variants unless they were hybrids. If it doesn't have to be new scour the market at a car warehouse for an earlier but current 2 or buy a bigger 3 or cx3 if it has to be a Mazda on the used market.I for the fraction of the price of a new 2 pure some two years ago landed a 2008 Mazda 3 for about 30% of the price of the new tiny tiddlers.while not perfect it does the job of being something better than the public transport system.
