You know, I can't help but get the feeling that Jaune is going to end up bitch slapping Cinder even worse than Mustang did to Envy in FMA Brotherhood.

His attack on Envy was was more vicious and rage fueled. But by god if it wasn't the most satisfying thing ever.
Phyrra was based on achilles -> Achilles was Cremated after being shot through his heel.
Jaune is based on Jeanne D'arc, everyone knows what happened to her.

The cruel irony is that when Cinder's VA was asked what her favorite ship was, she said she was responsible for sinking it.

Pyrrha's soul lives on in Jaune. Or at least in some way, shape or form, she does. Maybe it will be like an Alpha (RvB) scenario, with a fragment of Pyrrha left behind for Jaune to eventually contact, or just her prowess and courage and strength manifesting in Jaune. I dunno. I was listening to the song on repeat and this happened.

I love how this song has evolved to not just remember Arkos but also remember Monty and the effort he put into it. I've noticed across the fandom that people tend to associate Pyrrha with Monty because they're both honored and remembered in their specific worlds. I've even heard that people usually punctuate this song with "We love you, Monty" at the end of Casey Williams' concerts because the song has become more than just Jaune telling Pyrrha he loves her. Now it's the fandom and franchise sending our love to Monty.
It's quite funny how the last line is "I don't have to say goodbye" and then the next song in the playlist in the new version of "Time to Say Goodbye"

Dunno, the song becomes pretty dark after Volume 3 when you put it alongside Sacrifice, Divide, and Red Like Roses Part 2, Paints Ozpin as a villain who uses his students like pawns he's willing to let die, like Summer Rose and Pyrrha. "Pierce the sky" in Sacrifice also reminds me of the WoR where it was stated space travel had yet to be achieved, so I believe Ozpin intended to use his Tower as some sort of craft to escape the earths atmosphere and an incoming solar flare of sorts "It's the beginning of the end Ozpin, and I can't wait to watch you BURN."

Pyrrah's death was foreshadowed in the first episode of season 3, she said that eating before a fight will give energy, she probably ate something too spicy right before fighting Cinder seeing as she died of heartburn.
It made perfect sense. He's making a joke about how she died of being burned, hence heartburn.

I hope you read this at some point. I don't care that people may call me out as just being a fanboy or some obsessed fatass, whether they are right or wrong is not for me to decide. I only wish to express how I feel. I don't know if you know this, but I hope you do: you've changed all of our lives. I was someone who simply followed where the wind took me, but with no drive for anything. At some point, I was browsing UA-cam and I stumbled upon Red vs Blue Season 9's trailer and I was hooked. I began following RvB and started looking into other things made by RT. Then, season 10 ends and boom: RWBY Red trailer.
I regret that I was never able to tell you this, but you gave me a purpose in life. After that trailer, my first thoughts were "I want to do this." I regret that I was never able to finish my projects in time for you to see. For this, I apologize.
I''m writing this in class, bored, thinking about what you told us. You told us that you wanted your fans to do something creative. You showed us how we could work towards our dreams and make them come true. I wonder if you had ever though that your whim to pursue your dreams would give life to so many people. I find myself asking, "why am I majoring in what I'm majoring in right now, when I know that this isn't what I have a passion for?" I know that I want to be a 3D animator like you. I find myself also wondering, well why did I admire you? Objectively speaking, Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney, and Studio Ghibli have far better animation skills than you, so why did you attract me, but not them? I don't have a definite answer right now, but what I can say for sure is that it was simply your drive. Of all the characters ever created, Cinder's the only one I'd like to speak to in reality. You know what I would like to say to her?

Really? Adam's a total, abusive prick, yeah, but I can see how a swift session with the sharp ends of Gambol Shroud could potentially get him to at least feel sorry for what he's done. Adam is passionate, and passion can turn against itself.
I don't see passion in Cinder, I see calculation. Numbers on a page, pieces on a chessboard, things that only exist to further her outcome. The only way to defeat a brilliant tactic is to exploit a flaw, and that can be difficult when you've lost your "Queen."

I...this is on my songs playlist, and after months of not being able to shed a single tear, this _broke_ me. I didn't cry when she died. I didn't cry when the new volume aired. I got emotional when they mentioned her, but apart from that, _I did not cry_. But this broke me so badly. I feel better, strangely, now that I've cried over her. it's Jaune that feels cold, now that Pyrrha is gone. Pyrrha was a good and supportive friend who helped Jaune become a better huntsman. Jaune eventually grew to love Pyrrha like she did, if only she were still around, they would've made a great couple.

All the avid "Pyrrha's not dead" folks (myself included) have kinda gone nutty after vol 4 episode 2. Especially the ones who have been adamant since the beginning that she never died, was just sent somewhere else or has her soul connected to Jaune but Ruby's "special eyes" is fucking with that

The consolation of knowing her fate is that it adds a sad bittersweet tone to her interactions with Jaune leading up to Vol. 3. Before the season finale premiere, their romance just looked kinda cliche and cheesy.

I feel that they probably could bring her back and use the excuse that the Fall energy preserved her. However, I don't think that would be a good move on their part unless that can pull it off flawlessly. Good lord, a part of me is still in denial about Pyrrha's death. Off to RWBY Chibi, the place where all the good and happy feels of season 3 went.

But because Blake is so standoffish and she's more likely to push people away than create attachments, Sun isn't sure is she actually returns his feelings. The song is sorta like Sun asking himself, "What am I supposed to do? Just pretend I don't like you even though you're everything I could hope for in a romantic partner?"

I suppose nobody else is going to ask "what was she thinking?" After all, she clearly knew that she had no chance against somebody who had just defeated Ozpin, she didn't have any real reason to go up there (it's not like she really saved anyone by doing it), and she obviously shouldn't have gone up there because she was guaranteed to die. So, I ask, why did she throw herself into certain death?
Died for plot obviously but we could infer different reasons why she did what she did, low key hero complex? Figured she needed to do something while Cinder had used some energy on Ozpin, who knows
