    Hello, It was really helpful to me as a beginner for this process. But i have few questions. Please clarify, for me to understand your beautiful explanation in a very better way.
    1. How should i define to anyone else about the change management process in one sentence. ?
    2. Why is the Change management important to the IT ? Can we not manage the show without the change management team by the concept of automating the process ? Precisely As a change manager how should i explain my importance as a change manager to the people ?
    3. As a change manager, how can i be so effective to the business ?
    4. The process which you explained in the video, is very clear that, an average student who just finished his 12th standard and had a good communication skills and an overview to the IT and the computer can effort to understand this process. But As i am a change manager how can i differentiate myself with that 12th standard guy and prove my self as an effective Change manager ? What are the principles that i should acquire ?
    Please be so kind to help me with the above Questions.

    thank you for the lecture. This helped a lot. I was searching for explanation for:
    1. Request for change
    2. Impact analysis
    3. Approved/ Deny
    4. Implement Change
    5. Review/ Reporting
    and i couldn't fine anywhere in the net. The "Kotter's 8 steps for change management process" (Super annoyed) always comes up on most sites and others weren't helpful. Our professors used those points in cycles in class lecture and i jolted down the diagram but there wasn't any explanation for it. But ALAS!! I have found an answer. Thank you !!

    Hi, may you kindly explain problems that project teams encounter when dealing with scope-change management

      First of all nobody likes changes. When you think that the work is almost done, suddenly somebody changes the whole thing. That can be quite frustrating. Many times, the team members accept changes initially free of cost to impress the customer. This sets a precedence and customer expects all changes to be free of cost. Eventually this will lead to customer supplier issues. The best practice could be to charge the customer extra for the first major scope change itself which will set the right precedence. Sometimes changes becomes impossible to incorporate due to technical limitations of the architecture and sometimes this can lead to major project delays and sometimes even project failures. That is equally frustrating for the owner as well as for the project teams.

    It's CAB not CCB... Change Advisory Board not change control board

      In this part of the world, it is known as change control board. Change advisory board also sounds fine. Terminologies may vary from organization to organization. Function remains the same.
