Thanks, Stephen. Another Great Review. I like how you standardize your reviews with the 7 different criteria. Very Helpful.

Thanks! I like doing that so people can feel free to skip around to what interests them. :)

your reviews are excellent and allow examination to the physical aspects of books - especially since the few Christan bookstores that do exist do not carry a selection of Greek New Testaments

I have this Trutone edition, and both the cover and the interior look and feel even better when you experience it for yourself. Personally, I'd rather get one of these and send it off to get a proper leather cover than settling for the "cowhide" edition.

Could you please review the black French Morocco leather edition? Great camera shots!

A good rule of thumb to keep in mind, If the world (Lead by the devil) allows it to be shown, advertised or talked about.. its not what you think it is. If the devil goes out of his way to by any means irradicate and destroy the scripture in which you find.. know that you are on the right testament.

I have the hardcover edition with dictionary. As of now the dictionary ed. only comes in hardback. It's the most value since you have those "helps" in the back, which are:
    - Surface Form to Lemma Relation (list of inflected forms - see below), Etymology Group Relation (a list of related Greek words), and an exhaustive dictionary.
Example of an inflected form: ἐρῶ is the future form of λέγω
Not sure, but I believe their dictionary is different from anything I have. I need to check it out more. Here's a link to your video on that edition:

The best edition would be their dictionary ed. in cowhide.

The Tyndale that contained the Deuterocanon?
Edit. I know it says NT, just ran across this and thought I would joke a little.

Haha! Unfortunately those writings are virtually unknown to most non-Catholics and Orthodox.

Hard backs open flat at the beginning of the Bible much better than these inexpensive type lining bindings. Just saying.

Do you prefer the hardbacks then?

@@BiblicalStudiesandReviews I do actually. I mean I daily read from my Schuyler Quentel NKJV so that’s definitely not hard cover but for my study helps I do like the hard cover.
Like with my ESV Study Bible or my MacArthur NASB95 study Bible, or my CSB study Bible those are hard cover, and my RSV, NRSV, those are hard cover Bibles for reference but no study commentary.
Also all of my full commentaries are hard cover naturally. But I feel that makes them easier to stack I guess and too the front cover closes back down flat with the hard covers after studying the book unlike what you might find with the leather like type covers. They tend to have this slight flopped open still look 😂
But with the NKJV, ESV, the NASB95, and last but not least the KJV, those versions I do have in the more premium brands as well like with Crossway, Schuyler, Allan, Cambridge, CPB and even Lockman Foundation Publications, I have all three of their out of print In Touch Ministries Bibles with the Abba calfskin leather cover with calfskin leather lining, French paper, wide margin...yeah those are super nice.
But for study helps definitely liken the hard covers.

    NONE OF THEM!!!!!!!!!
Of the critical editions of the Greek N.T., I have found this one to be- textually speaking- one of the WORSE.

      It definitely leans strongly Alexandrian.

    • @---zc4qt
      @---zc4qt 3 роки тому +1

@@BiblicalStudiesandReviews I do not have a problem with the "Alexandrian" texts. ( Textual issues are harder than just "M.T." or "T.R." v.s. Alex. Text.) It is just a fact that the new "Tynale Text" seems to be the same as the Treg. edition- a reallllllllly bad text.

    • @BiblicalStudiesandReviews
      @BiblicalStudiesandReviews  3 роки тому +1

@@---zc4qt well it’s certainly not identical to Tregelles text. To clarify, do you support Critical Text editions, in general?

    • @---zc4qt
      @---zc4qt 3 роки тому +2

@@BiblicalStudiesandReviews I have respect for both the Majority and Critical Text. ( Even though there are several editions of the C.T..) It would be nice to see what the different editions of the so-called "TR" say. ( It is a FACT- CONTRARY to what KJV Onlyists say- that there are MANY editions and revisions of the "TR".)
