When your just tying a knot to a hook, is there a certain know you guys like to use? Or do you use different knots for different fishing?

Tim Foster We use an improved clinch knot when tying leader to hook unless its a circle hook, and then we'll use a loop knot. - Thanks for watching. - Capt Mike

I know how to tie the knot but how do you attach it to tackle like a snap swivel or a lure?

Joshua Pulido Hi Joshua and thanks for watching. You can attach a wind on leader to the double line with a loop to loop connection for a really streamlined presentation, or you can certainly tie the Bimini to a snap swivel or barrel swivel. What species are you primarily targeting and where? - Capt Mike

Thanks, I really wanna know how to apply it. I fish out of Galveston, TX towards the end of the ship channel jetties and you never know how big the fish can be. I would like to start going towards the rigs for more offshore species. Could you maybe do a video on how to apply the knot? How you tie the loop to barrel swivels, line, or hooks?
