It's 2024, and I had no idea The Dream Syndicate was back together. I love this song! Probably my 2nd fave ever. First will always be Merritville.
It doesn't get better than this, Steve Wynn gets better, like fine wine, through the years. I am so lucky and blessed to be his sister. ox

@TheBeauty6685 Out of the grey e' forse il loro peggior disco, masterizzato male e con un P.B. Cutler non ancora ben inserito nel gruppo. I primi due lavori sono fantastici, il primo costato poco e registrato in pochi giorni, il secondo costato 250.000 dollari ma un lavorone eccezionale. Poi...diciamolo....sono andati scemando, con qualche colpo di coda ma su livelli minori. Molto minori. Chi li ha visti nascere (io) rimane affascinato dalla longevita' ma nota anche la ricerca di un risultato che non arriva e non arrivera' mai piu'.

great dark psichedelic blues
This reminds me of a story an older hippie couple told me when we're were trading acid stories one night.
They were tripping out with some friends when they somehow discovered that laundry detergent looks cool like this under a black light. So naturally, they all stripped down and painted each other with it, head to toe. As they were having fun dancing around and shit, their skin slowly started to feel agitated and eventually getting to point of a burning pain from all the detergent they were covered in. Spent basically the rest of the trip trying to rinse it all off.
I approve of this light-hearted yet relevant anecdote which epitomizes, in no small measure, the overwhelming foolishness of man
Took listening to half a dozen podcasts of Rush's show before I found on that had enough bumper music to Shazam.
