Had two Cutlass Supreme International coupes; lost first one in a divorce and second one when a new woman thought I needed a Mercedes. Real often I wish I had the one with the red leather interior back. Keep up the good work.
The ULTIMATE INTERNATIONAL SEDAN in my book!!!! Black is hard to find on these early W-Bodies. Then of course there is the LQ1 and HUD option that's pushes this car to the uber rare unicorn status. Just a gorgeous incredible find! I look forward to many future videos of this one!
I've been grabbing nice w body Cutlass Supremes examples as I find them. I've never seen a sedan this nice. It's got to be the best example left on the planet.
Thats such a nice unit! I had a 91 2 door cutlass international with a 3.1v6 and mint red cloth interior. The car had little over 100,000kms. It needed a paint job though and I sold the car but loved it.
@@killajakez Yes, you are correct but only ONE 1991 Cutlass Supreme International COUPE had red CLOTH. Mine is that car. All others will have either red LEATHER, grey leather, or grey cloth. Your 91 2 door Cutlass International was a red leather car. Do you remember for sure and thank you for your comment!
@@jiggity76 I never had one. I am an Oldsmobile enthusiast though. Just found it hard to believe red cloth was rare, but hey, you learn something new every day. Had a 80 442 W30 black on gold.
@@jeremyk3320 I have! I have two LQ1 cars. A 91 International Cutlass coupe and a 93 Grand Prix STE sedan. I just use a long extension and magnet to do the rear plugs, takes a few minutes. With or without the plenum on. I actually found this beautiful Black sedan for the guy who posted it here. A good bud of mine!
I saw the DOHC badges on the front fenders... does that thing have the 3.4L DOHC V6? I loved seeing it being unloaded but I wish you’d have given us a walk around with a look at the interior and the engine bay... as someone born in the early 80’s, cars like this remind me of my primarily 90’s childhood... you used to see these everywhere and now they’re fairly rare, especially in this kind of condition and (as another poster said) in black... I’m gonna check your other videos to see if there’s more footage. Thank you for sharing!
How many miles were on this car? I wonder how much they paid for it. Did they get it from Bring a trailer? I ask because I have a 1995 Buick Regal Gran Sport 4dr sedan with 32,000 original miles. I bought it at an estate auction in perfect working order and it as good or better condition as this 91 Cutlass Supreme. Just because it was 29 years old I had a GM dealership change all the fluids and filters including transmission. They also put new shocks in the rear, new rotors, brakes, all new hoses including heater core hoses., plugs and wires, power steering lines, thermostat, new Goodyear tires, serpentine belt and a new a/c compressor and pulley. It has leather interior with all the bells and whistles including the Astro roof. It looks, drives and feels brand new. My wife had her knees replaced and can't ride in it. Never saw this situation happening. I still love it but just bought a mint 2010 Lincoln Town Car which anybody can get in. What do you guys think it would sell for?
It WAS a nice car when built. The '89 coupe lured me in. Unfortunately, it was junk compared to the '89 Grand Prix that I had at the time. It went through 2 transmissions, plus the 'mystery' electrical bug that turned out to be a factory defect due to improper wiring.
If one is older, it's mind blowing to think it's 30 years old. Nice car, rode well too!

Ugh!! This makes me want to hoard all of the w body cars with my Grand Prix. I miss seeing these cars so much.

@@killajakez Just for the coupes. Red cloth in the International sedans like Tom's beautiful example is more common.
Beautiful car!!!!
I had a blue one with the 3.4 & digital dash
Engine was impressive
But handling and brakes scary
I miss my 1994 white 4 door CUTLASS & also sold my White 1992 Convertible 3 years ago. Now I want them back, when I do then V8 🆙 GRADE definitely. 🤔😉
That 3.4L DOHC engine was one you definitely did not want to have to replace the alternator and back spark plugs!
Nah, it's not that bad. All depends on your skills and how much patience you have.
@@jiggity76 patience has never been a virtue for me, have you worked on those?

All the International models had it
Holy crap that’s nice
Cool car 3.4 dohc was strong runner .
But a pain to work on! My 93 GP GTP wasn't a fun car to fix.

Hi Ken. Here’s a walk around I did shortly after it arrived. It’s really an amazing car.

Going to party like it's 1991

That is awesome!I you ever want to sell please let me know
Most people won't understand this statement, but I share your excitement.
not the power steering, it's the supercharger
Can't be the supercharger, it doesn't have one. And changing the power steering pump on those LQ1 engines is not an easy task.
@@MS3DALE a feeble attempt at humor. that is the sharpest looking of the newer Oldsmobiles. they were awesome looking when they ran in imsa
@@MS3DALE Power steering pumps are pretty easy on these. It sits right on top of the belt system.
Put the New radio control on 1991 cutlass
are you selling it yet? lol
Should Be a coupe then you would Have something Substantial To improve on
The fact it's not a coupe makes it that much more rare and special I think. Tom also has a 95 convertible, and TWO 91 coupes. Both LQ1/5 speed cars!
