Gale being like : I unlocked Fireball and I am not afraid to use it
GOR THE FIREBAAAALL!
Astarion's reaction LOL! It's like deciding if you should hold back an excited dog. At least he said "Please" though
Not Karlach roasting the whole party 😂
Love the confidence boost the second they hit level five; like a real d&d party, this lot.
Well Astarion when you beg me so pretty like that~
That extra attack giving karlach way too much confidence
i love the emotions that neil put into astarion there O.O
Level 4 to 5 is a huge shift in power. Multi attack, level 3 spells, lots of good class features like stunning strike on monks.
Tav says something also, if they are alone
Never realized this before
When the dm has the npcs beg you not to fight that dragon.
Makes sense, level 5 is such a huge power gap, you’re practically demi god at that point
Everyone talking about bloodthirsty/horny Astarion but god damn Shart gets a hell of an attitude and I love it. Queen and she knows it.
Lv 4: "Maybe we should reconsider..."
Lv 5: "WHO FUCKING WANTS IT!?!?"
Astarion begging to kill them is just like me when I play co op with my friend lmao
Brown haired Shadow heart got me acting UP
I'm so used to Wyll complaining about my decisions that I was actually surprised with how cool his lv 5 response is
I never really had Wyll complain about mine. But that’s because I always play as a good guy.
Everyone: We can't take them
Karlach: I can take them... but not with you...
"We've got a roadblock to clear" gotta be the HARDEST wyll line in the whole game, holy shit
I did it at level 4 ... With the help of some oil barrels
Lol that's how to do it 😅
Managed to do it at lvl4 as well. Though I don't recall feeling confident I could reach lvl5 by the time I reached this point (been a while since I played. Life and all). But managed to do it. With Lae'zel disarming, and Wyll up on the overpass casting Eldritch Blast. Good times.
The funniest part of this is that this happens in live DnD tables too. When you hit lvl 5 most classes get insane boosts, whether that be extra attacks, cool features, etc. and I’ve seen this confidence boost happen in tables I’ve both played and DM’ed and it’s much funnier as a DM, because 9/10 times, the players don’t even see it
Level 5 Karlach is your ride or die.
Astarion gets me gnawing at the iron bars of my confinment with the simpliest thing i cant-
One level makes a hell of a difference in confidence
Astarion is so confidant cause he knows they can’t touch him 😂
I love Astarion’s the most TBH.
I just noticed how more “ride or die” the companions become once they reach level 5
How the *fuck* are you supposed to not immediately give Astarion everything he wants when he asks *like that* ?!
Fun fact if you go there alone it will make tav speak there in that moment
It's work like this that makes this game fun. There is a LOT of darkness in it and I will never play an evil character, but this is just amazing levels of details. It's a subtle way to tell the player "you are not ready" or "go get 'em!" with regards to the player's ability to fight.
