I feel like what we need for Cubone to make sense is a pokemon that doesn't have a skull or has like bone pieces on its head, then it evolves either into Marowak or a secondary evolution, with Cubone as a branch off the evolutionary line which is what it becomes if its mom dies because it just seems extremely unlikely for such a species to have such an issue like this that all the mothers die for all the offspring to be donning skulls, unless the moms pretty much die not long after having their egg.

I wanted to comment at the time, but I was not sure if I was right. But this is straight out of our PA school lecture from last week! ANY surgery that is not emergent (needs to been done like NOW or they'll die) or urgent (within 24-48 hours or they may die or have permanent organ damage) is considered "elective," no matter how important it may be to quality or even continuation of life. Elective surgeries include: "Removing a cancerous lesion, having kidney stones removed, fundoplication, prostatectomy for prostate cancer, total hip replacement, etc." So you can see, these are very important surgeries for patients to have, but they can wait a few weeks or even months if need be. I just want to make sure people know that even though our health insurance system is horrific, it's not THAT horrific. And since I can't find the pertinent video, I'm leaving this here. PS: Fundoplication is where they wrap the top part of your stomach around where your esophagus attaches to stop you from having acid reflux. Thank you for your time.
