I can't actually play this game as I have a senile old iMac. ~So now I watch everything on a ROKU. Been watching other people play this game for 5 years though. It's the best. What I know is from hundreds of hours observation, so mouse buttons and keyboard commands are "educated guesses" (marked as *) rather than "known facts". Easy living tips: I believe*... If you right click an item it shows you "move" options (eg; "Move All"). Recommend building at least 2 log carts. ~Will store animals indefinitely. ~Carries 11 logs. ~Can place 2 stone crates & 2 storage crates together. Stone crates can be emptied/filled in one go by holding control* and adding or removing the stone. Fences will kill Vambies eventually but spikes will kill them instantly. Both together is best. Fences will stop animals. When building fences: Small gaps are absolutely fine. Larger gaps can be defended with spikes against Vambies, but will allow animals through. Excess bark chips can also be burned. The Vambies can run through water if it's Knee-deep or less. Deeper than the knee is generally safe. But... River WILL freeze during winter. Vambies WILL cross the ice. ~You CAN build/place spike traps on the ice. You can build down too. As long as there is a wall on the foundation, you can build down from it. Chemistry table is (mostly) for making plastic (Plastic has sale value). It is also vital for making Mike's Antidote. Build Butcher table. Get more meat, more bones, a Liver, and more importantly... A Hide. ~2 Hide and a rope makes a quiver. Redwood trees drop 11 logs each. 1 tree fills cart. ~Takes the same number of hits as normal large tree. Quicker harvest. Clay soil has to be turned into clay on the workbench. ~I hope this reaches you before you next play. Sorry the last one was a day late. If you have any other questions give me a shout! I'm happy to help. ☺ Edit:~ Forgot to mention... Keep 1 small stone-forge per large brick-forge. Then you can produce Iron Ingots as quickly as you're making the fragments. Also comes in handy when you only have a couple of items to smelt. 👍
