The old fella (Emperor Valkorion) is actually the Immortal Sith Emperor Vitiate, after he "died" in the story in SWTOR, he transfered to this body and started this 3rd faction to destroy both Sith Empire and Republic, and he almost did... The woman in the Betrayed trailer is Senya, shes mother to all Emperors children, Arkann (white one), Thexan (black one) and Vaylin, all three super powerfull force users, as Vitiate is almost dark side incarnated... Vaylin maybe not nearly as good fighter as her brothers, shes the most powerfull force user out of the three, and Emperor actually saw that during the training and he put a block into her mind, preventing her to use her full power, not to have a rival. But she went completely nuts after Senya left her with her dad, in the temple, and hates Senya above anything else. Shes a murdering psychopat.... (and they dont have siths and jedis... they are all just knights of eternal throne) i fucking love these trailers, great reaction.
If he originally was in charge og the empire, why does he now want to destroy it?
@@David-bf2cg He actually kind of started both empires together. After he absorbed the lifeforce of the whole planet of Ziost (before the SWTOR story even begins) his "being" became more of an eternal spirit than an actual person with a body. While he was preparing the Sith Empire for their return to Korriban and the Galaxy, he discovered the planet Zukuul, the dusted Eternal Fleet and the Zukuulian's talent in the force. So he basically divided his own spirit into 2 bodies; one "Vitiate" to lead the Sith Empire and further the designs of the Sith (and his own agenda of immortality), the other "Valkorion" that became basically a god-emperor of the relatively primitive but completely hidden in remote space at the edge of the galaxy Zukuul while working on discovering the secrets of the Eternal Fleet and cultivating a civilisation completely devoted to him and strong in the force in ways that are different from Sith and jedi. The Sith Empire was his playground to experiment with powers, tech, and crazy stuff, only for him to apply the finished perfected product in Zukuul to create an immortal empire worthy of its immortal emperor (him).
In the expansions, he talks a lot with you and explains some of his philosophy and mind and why he does what he does. it's all really cool. You could easily come to understand him (and, If you play sith like I do, could try to help him). He's certainly the big bad guy, but not bad just for the sake of it.
@@darthcalanil5333 Sounds awesome. But what was the eternal fleet? A big random fleet just sitting out in nowhere? And if he was leading both of them, why would he fight against himself?

@@tenarmurk Nathema, yes. But later he did the same with Ziost. And there was no ritual required this time.
The game is basically a combination of a Bioware RPG and a MMO- there are your typical dungeons, raids, PvP, etc, BUT there are 8 unique storylines, plus 5 expansions to go through, which can easily round up to HUNDREDS of hours' worth of content. And the best part is that you can play through the vanilla and 2 of the expansions completely for free. The individual class stories themselves are 40-50 hours long each, have the option of being a good, bad, in between kind of person (and you can even play as a Light Sith or a Dark Jedi), romances, friendships, Sith, Jedi, Republic Trooper, Bounty Hunter, Smuggler, Imperial Agent.
The greatest bit is that the game can be as (anti)social as you want it to be. Except for a small, negligible bit where you need to group up, every other bit of the story content can be done solo, or with a friend. If you decide to play the game with someone else, I do recommend that you pick different classes so you can see 2 stories at the same time. Class stories are instanced, so only you get to affect how the story progresses there. You can subscribe for a month (15 dollars) and keep all the expansions plus a bunch of benefits forever, even when you unsub (unlike WoW where you can no longer play the game if you unsubscribe). I definitely recommend the game, and it's very lively so you could easily find a guild if you'd rather have access to the social aspects of the game.

It's fascinating how they made you care about characters in cinematics that lasted 4 minutes.
IKR. In like 4 minutes I was hooked....then there are the sequels. Despite having three movies to develop the characters, I couldn't care less about Kylo Ren OR Rey(despite the fact that the actors did the best that they could with the awful writing they had to deal with).

Your choice of 1st or 3rd, that's the emperor Vitiate, and he makes Palpatine look like a cub scout. They guy absorb the life out of an entire planet, which you may or may not find out if you play the game. Still playing after 7 years the stories of each of the 8 different classes, 4 Republic and 4 Empire, are great stories with choices that you make. It's a lot of fun. And those two were brothers and she was their sister which the woman you saw was at one point together with Vitiate and they had those 3 children together before he pushed her away and took the kids favor.
So the game is still going strong then? Might have to take a look 😀-dave

Started playing some time ago again myself and its an amazing game. Very entertaining and good voiced stories in this one. Lots to play with different classes having own stories to go through.
Tenebrae/Vitiate/Valkorion is pretty awesome far as Sith go... even though they nerfed Revan for the sake of an MMO Vitiate is part of (but I suppose that's hardly his fault). But he's also far from the only Sith Lord to consume the life on an entire planet - Nihilus being a good example here. Still, far as Emperors go, old Palpy could learn something from a guy that ruled the galaxy for some fifteen hundred years.
Vaylin is apparently so powerful in the force that she was moving large objects around the room *while she was still in her mother's womb.*

Great reaction. So many people who watch this do not pick up on stuff, like how the father of the two brothers intentionally edged them till one of them snapped. Nice to see someone get it on the first view.

When this game was released in 2011 it was the most expensive game ever made. Mostly because there are voice actors for every interaction you have. Every race female and male, every class has a voice actor and everyone you meet in the game it's all voiced. They still do it for the expansions.
For sacrifice the two boys were twins and the children of that guy who is the emperor. in betrayed the girl is their younger sister and the woman is the mother to all of them.
I still play. The story telling in the game is amazing and keeps me coming back. Each class has a story ark to complete. You can get companions that follow you and you can get romantic with them.
Over all if you are a starwars fan this is an amazing game to play. This game picks up 300 years after KOTOR and that is based several thousand years before episode 4: A new Hope. If you become a subscriber for just one month you get access to all the expansions. If you just play for free you get the first 3 expansions. Still a TON of content. Check it out. Now remember this is a 9 year old game so graphically it is a LOT challenged compared to everything today. And the game play is pretty simple.
Too bad today people aren't willing to gamble...It isn't called the gaming industry for a reason.
Valkorion is absolutely miles better than Palpatin. the one and only Eternal Emperor!

That big lightsaber fight, where the mom took on six, is easily my favorite of all the cinematics. The world where the emperor took the girl, his daughter, has almost no force presence. So training is really, really difficult. Because of that the fight was choreographed differently to reflect that.
I have played the game since launch and honestly you should play it just to experience more of the story. The cinematics contain characters that you meet and/or fight so if you wanna get deeper into it definitely get a free to play account! New content is being added every week! As a SW fan, it is simply amazing. There are problems with the game, but its mostly end game content and that is bcuz of not enough love from ea or w/e. But there is soooo much content to do. Each story is pretty amazing. I have played every single one and some of them i have 4 or 5 char each. I take breaks cuz I have so many end game char, but to relive that story line, man, there is nothing like it. To experience the planets the way you do. Riding a speeder through Hoth. OMG. Or Tatooine. Spending time on Narshadaa..... ITS SO GOOD! Plus u get ur housing and u decorate it how u want. Many houses - even a moving train, lol, if you want. The story is just so good!
The bridge helped Senya fight off 8 of the Zealots of Nathema at once. They were basically stuck in 4 ranks of two, unable to surround her on all sides.
“A Palpatine thing” yeah actually that is very true, because that man was once the Sith Emperor, it’s all confusing and I don’t want to explain it but yeah.
Im a returning player on my first character :) SWTOR is the only place other than the Mandalorian that you get real Star Wars right now. And for a free to play game, this game deserves you throwing a little cash their way if you can for the great content it has.
The old guy is Valkorian who is the Emperor, so his son probably wouldn't have done anything to him when he tried to kill him
If Arcann _did_ manage to strike Valkorian down, his spirit would've probably just taken over Arcann's body.

Malgus (the Sith in Decieved) is a beast. He is hands down one of my most favourite sith lords ever, second only after Vitiate (Emperor man in the last two) and Darth Marr who's in the game but not these trailers.
If you're curious why the Sith were able to attack Coruscant and the Jedi Temple like that it was because there was supposed to be a "Peace Summit" at the time between the two sides. So the majority of the Republic's military and most of the Jedi were off attending that so Coruscant was lightly defended.
Dudes the family of Valkorion are NOT Sith, they use the force without fixing to one of the sides. The game is awesome, it's my favourite game.
Yes that is why they were presented as so powerful. It was presented as they didn't limit themselves to constraining the force into categories so had access to the entirety of it, hence the golden sabers.
theres also col stuff like when u get your first chracter i belive to lvl 10 on a server it unlocks its legacy name a kind of surname for your characters on chosen server that gives a whole host of benfits the higher it goes each class hasits own unique self buff to through the class storys after completing chapter 2 on each class u unlock the buff for all characters so when u hit that buff button u will recive any buff through the legacy sytem of another character whos also completed chapter 2 and with the completion of chapter 3 u also get the heroic power unlocked witch shares a specfic spell thats usable from each class
I'm playing this game for 2-3 months now, I subscribed after maybe 1 month. To anyone who didn't play it, but like Star Wars, Download it NOW! Its free(in literally every sense, for single player mode.. and most of PvP as well), and its one of the best MMO-RPG's I'w played.
The bearded guy in the white armor is called Valkorion also known as Vitate, if you ask Star Wars fans , many of them would say he is the most powerful Sith ever. He used to rule the Sith-Empire but noticed how weak it is, so he created another empire called the Eternal Empire or also known as the Zakuul Empire and decided to destroy the Siths and the Republic. With a lot of Sith rituals he was able to live thousands of years. In the Game he says he is nearly as old as the galaxy itself

Definately give the game a go, it's one of those games it's best to do in increments and slowly if you have a busy schedule. Enabling you to get the most out of the 8 authentic story lines the game offers.
It is generally a World of Warcraft'esc feel in terms of abilities and combat, but you really do feel like you're playing a Star Wars game.

They were Returned and Hope. 3 in 1 huh? Awesome. As for making movie out of something like this, it may cost a lot of money but let's be honest they have a lot of money. Way more than it would cost. EA or Disney.
This sweet young innocent girl gets turned into the biggest psychopath by her own father.. It's such a sad story about Vaylin.
If Senya (Her mother) had taken her away before this happened and fled with her then, Vaylin could have been a great force for good, for the lightside :(

actually she was border line psychotic even as a child. She killed one of the Knights for dropping a ball that she threw to him as a toddler. Her mother feared her power(rightly so) and tried to save her from herself but her father kept an eye on things and when her power grew out of control he took her and bound her power through torture. She went totally bonkers then and there was no going back.
I think my favorite trailer was decieved because it is about my favorite Sith-Lord, Darth Malgus

The game is 3rd person. It was fun in its day, but the graphics are nothing like this. Some of the storylines get pretty intriguing. The mechanics are very much a WOW clone, though. And it can get pretty dull and repetitive.
