Yeah he was right with the "vision part". That was not the same time. The emperor had a vision standing at the cradles of his twin sons. The very same that happend years later. Great story, sadly most of the time the villainous ones make the best. :) I second DarkShugos comment, great reactions from you and your kids,

4)The father’s name is Valkorion, the twins are Arcann and Thexhan, his sons. Valkorion is the emperor of the eternal empire, a new faction that developed into an empire in unknown regions. In reality Valkorion is the emperor Sith Vitiate who disappeared for hundreds of years, at least a fragment of the spirit of Vitiate. Seeing that the war between Empire and Republic was leading nowhere, he decided to create a "perfect" empire that will defeat the Republic and Empire (then led by the Black Council.
The Saga of the Eternal Empires royal family is one of the best in all of Star Wars and I can't wait to see your reaction to the next trailer which focuses on the empress and the princess,, in the story The Emperor's name is valkorion his sons are named Arcann(white) and Thexan(black) the empress is named Senya and the princess is named Vaylin,, emperor valkorion was in fact the immortal Sith emperor Vitiate the one responsible for Waging War against the Republic in the first three trailers that you watched with his goal being not Galactic domination like most Sith but to consume all life in the galaxy so that he can achieve the status of a god,, after Darth Malgus sacked the Jedi Temple the Republic was brought to its knees and forced to sign a treaty ceding control of half of the Galaxy to vitiate which was referenced by Palpatine in episode 3 Revenge of the Sith when he said "once more the Sith shall rule the galaxy" after the treaty was signed there was cold war which lasted for about 30 years and during that time the Republic and Jedi launched an assault against him and they defeated him but they did not destroy him but rather sent him into a long slumber over the centuries he secretly created a new civilization on the planet zakuul and the constant warring between the Sith and Jedi did nothing but fuel his spirit making him even stronger and allowing him to return in a new form which is the one we see in the trailer of the old man with the beard (Valkorion)
What sets the Empire Of Zakuul apart from the Jedi and the Sith is how they view the Force. The Jedi see the Force as a companion. The Sith see it as a tool. The Knights Of Zakuul see it as a reward for serving an ideal (similar to how the Vikings viewed passage to Valhalla).
Although you're very late to the game, you might have the greatest reactions so far. Thanks for this! PS. If you wonder about any of it, it's hard to come by somone who's better educated on the subject. Ask me anything.
@@yvancholy7700 Good quote, but a tad condescending for the setting ^^ Not sure what Captain price from CoD4 is doing here though. But thanks for the flashback.
So, Knights of the Eternal Throne is an expansion story to The Old Republic. The first 3 trailers where for the base game. This was a full-on Story Expansion that takes place approximately 5 years after the end of the main story. Valkorian (the older man) is the Emperor of a planet called Zakuul (Also known as the Eternal Empire). He is also known as the Eternal Emperor since he is seemingly immortal. Prior to this expansion, the Sith Emporer Vitiate was defeated but his essence escaped, untraced into the galaxy. While Vitiate was the Sith Emperor, he would occasionally go into long bouts of dormancy. The reason for this was because he secretly would embody Valkorian and grow this Zakuulan civilization as what basically amounts to a side project. Once Vitiate retreated, he turned his full attention to Zakuul. The people of Zakuul know nothing of the Republic or Empire and, in fact, live in prosperity with an undying loyalty to their ruler. That might seem odd considering who Valkorian actually is, but Zakuulan society is not nearly as violent as Imperial society. In fact, it's very privileged and tolerant. It isn't until more recent events that the Republic and Empire become entangled with the Eternal Empire, which turns out to be far more than either the Republic or Empire can handle and is very quickly brought under subjugation by the Eternal Empire.
We live in hope. I think the fact that Bob Iger has bought in Kevin Feige, promoted Dave Filoni to live action and have got Jon Favreau into the fold, is an acknowledgement that there are issues that need addressing. I think we will see Katherine Kennedy step down to a producer role, somewhere within the Disney Studio...A job she does extremely well and leave the creative development of Star Wars in the hand of the holy trinity.
This has always been my favorite of all the trailers. Just so much to it. You got a heavy emotional pull, seeing the brothers growing up, and it ending in a tragedy. My favorite part is when you hear ''When darkness finds you, you will face it alone''. That part, and that piece of dialogue give me goosebumps.
Your Daughter Got it right in ONE, he was just waiting to see which of his Two sons was stronger...so he could then Kill that One and Take over His Body..that How this Emperor Rolls he Consumes his own Family and stays alive by living in their Bodies.
In the beginning he says ambition will guide you. Ambition is a sith trait, and usually leads to the dark side. He purposefully neglected them to bring forth these feelings, but only one of them acted upon ambition. And that way became worthy.
Emperor Valkorion(the father) is also emperor /dark lord of the sith Vitiate just in a different body trying to reform the sith empire by destroying the old one along with the Jedi
The Emperor wanted a son, an heir. instead he got twins. he cant have 2 brats squabbling amongst themselves, and hes certainly not gonna split his power. So he spends their entire lives pushing them for the breaking point, pitting them against each other. This is finally what he wanted. one son getting rid of the other, and embracing the dark side.
during this time the "rebels" are the republic back then they were unionized and had a formal government and this was a test of light vs dark in the Eternal Empire and shows the Light sides vulnerability to falling.
The tragedy here was in the fact that their father put them through hell by training them and then sending the twins to various battlefields. The one dressed in white was always weaker than his sibling, and resented his father for the treatment he put them through. The one in black was stronger, more stoic, yet was always at the side of the twin in white and never seemed to reset either him or his father. When the war was over and his father still showed no appreciation for their efforts, the one in white lost it and attacked him in a fit of fury, only to be stopped by his brother which he kills . The only person who was ever there for him and never resented him for being weaker ...and he killed him because of all the anger he felt towards their father.
