Well, I am reading all the comments and seeing how ungrateful some people can be. They don't know the efforts some people have to do to make a video to give for free. For me the important thing to know is that if is possible to to transfer pictures to fabric without a machine. And this video answer my question. Thank you very much.
@@sandiebalderas2800 They are almost the same thing. Tho I think Modge Podge is better for transfers since it is also self-described as a glue and a sealer.
Same trick I used back in the 1970s as a custom motorcycle painter. The only thing that was not the same was that I used Lacquer clear spray painted on the photo then soaked it in water then as in this video rubbed the paper of the back side with my fingers. WA-LA the same thing! After photo was paper free I sprayed clear on the motorcycle tank and placed the Lacquer photo print on the tank where I sprayed the clear and cleared coated over the print. For anyone wanting to know what was used in this video to remove the paper! it was water. If it was not then you tell me.
Hi Bob, I have a little custom motorcycle shop here in Baltimore Maryland. Can you tell me the details of the photo transfers you did. My wife and I have malamutes as pets and where in going with this is , I'm putting a bike together for her and she is wanting me to airbrush something related to the dogs, if I could transfer photos it would be something I think she would love . here is my email as well. Robert.wes@aol.com. If you have any pictures of your work back in the day I would love to see the. I truly hope to here from you. Thank you, Bob Mahaney
Tami Elizabeth Allaway no I don’t I just think your video is dreadful . Do you need everybody to affirm and like everything you do .. shame cos that’s never going to happen
Tami Elizabeth Allaway well miss rude ass , who feels the need to seek attention by arguing with anyone who you disagree with . Firstly if the video was of any standard I would of taken the time to see who made it , but in my opinion it isn’t . So I just don’t care . Yes I assumed it was you by your defensive and aggressive reply’s . So what I got it wrong . You know what ? Still don’t care . We don’t all have the time to extract every bit of information wrote down on here . If I wanted to read instructions I would get a manual or a book . Now I don’t think it is unreasonable when watching a video , to get the information I feel I need from watching the video . But you go right ahead and argue away . I have better and quite frankly better things to do with my time than allow you another moment .
Lil tip once the glue is dry and you start to wet the paper to remove it, it helps if you start in a corner and work in smaller sections so it’s easier to remove more of the paper
Nice. Once completed can this item then be washed? If so, what are the soap and water temperature settings? What about dryer settings? Does it need to be set with something like Retayne?
Good video. To the point instruction. "All you need for this project is" - a list of the items, and then a simple video using those items to complete the project. Pleasant music and, a rare blessing - NO SELF-AGGRANDIZING IDIOT WASTING MY TIME WITH THEIR BS LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! I'M A UA-cam STAR! Hope you didn't pay any attention to the nit-wit losers who left bad comments. Shame on them.
Ok right about now with a good lighting and nice music would be great to know what’s in the yellow jar (if you really want this to be an instructional video)...!
You need to add the type of products you are using and the time for setting the image. For example, is it water or some other solution in the can. I hope it's water and not varnish since you're applying your fingers to it.
My question is what kind of printed photo? Just a regular photo printed from my printer or photo from a shop? Maybe a stupid question but that's my confusion.
If you haven't done transfers before, you need to know that 1. Normal glue is not being used here. Usually you would use a medium like Mod Podge, or Gel Medium. 2. You need more medium to 'glue' the image to the fabric and also on top of the image. Otherwise the image won't transfer properly.
prefer video with some spoken instruction and that respond to comment questions. From other clips I've viewed you over used the transfer medium an made it a messy project.
well, thats one way to to do it without buying fabric transfers. l was just wondering, can it be machine washed or hand washed? because l plan on making a few of tshirts to give as gifts and it would suck if they washed out.
People need to consider their music choices when making videos some music is just irritating for example what is playing during this lesson I had to just turn the volume completely off
This method makes the fabric stiff they used white school glue then you place a paper printed image onto the fabric and leave it to dry over night, once it's dried brush some small amount of water and use something flat like the dull end of tweezers or your nail lol not sure I used a paint brush to scrub off the paper and once thats done you will have a mirrored image and no you cannot wash the fabric if it's done this way, I used this method on some canvas when painting cause its pretty much just for show ,easiest way to transfer an image without awhole lot of stuff
Montenegro Crafts I’ve been looking for something to help me just paste my printed idea onto a shirt, so I can embroider over it. But it’s a more complicated design and I don’t wanna trace it. Would this work?

I agree. I knew what was happening. Did not need her to voice it out.
@@mimistans7715 yes, you are right
If anyone is confused as to what's in the yellow jar, it's PVA glue :)
Nice one
is this the same as "mod podge"?

Describtion

Great work how many washes will this last.Looks like there's a part missing by her head there's a white streak did something go wrong.

DUDE Bob, thanks for sharing your method. Curious as to how the imaged weathered or aged.
It would be nice if you actually told us what you were doing.... like whats in the yellow jar for example. ffs
was just about to repeat your comment on this lame half ass video

If you're going to make a video telling people how to do something. Why not just write a description and forget about the video then?
Great clip thanks for sharing....just one question, what type of glue is "PVA" glue thanks!
Thank You. Love it.

I wanna kno if the photo was printed on paper or photo paper.....

Can it washable ? I'll try this way, thankyou for sharing.
EXCELLENT, THANK YOU!
what kind of scraper, please, and did you use freezer paper underneath so nothing would stick? Thank you.

Is that just water to take the back off?
Does the print out have to be on photo paper or can it be on regular xerox paper
Hey man cool video thanks for the idea
Ok right about now with a good lighting and nice music would be great to know what’s in the yellow jar (if you really want this to be an instructional video)...!
It's PVA glue
Can you do this with a graduation cap? Can you use photo paper?
Is the fabric washable or is it only an art piece?
Thank u.

its just the water
My question is what kind of printed photo? Just a regular photo printed from my printer or photo from a shop? Maybe a stupid question but that's my confusion.
This answer is probably too late for you, but pic is copied onto regular printer paper.
Photo paper won't work - it's too thick to dissolve.
@@trishs706 thank you it's not too late
Music is AWESOME !!!!
Can I use glue medium?
And yeah a lot of extra glue ..and is it a photograph or laser print ...what IS the original??
laser print

hi! can i ask what kind of photo printing ink did you use? it is dye ink? pigment? or did you have the photo printed in lab?
its regular inkjet printer printed in regular print paper
You should be advising what you are using and explaining the "how to and what to do"
well, thats one way to to do it without buying fabric transfers. l was just wondering, can it be machine washed or hand washed? because l plan on making a few of tshirts to give as gifts and it would suck if they washed out.
You just need to spray it with clear top coat, and than it can be washed in cold water :)
Why not just submerge it in water and then gently rub off the extra paper when it’s thoroughly wet???!
People need to consider their music choices when making videos some music is just irritating for example what is playing during this lesson I had to just turn the volume completely off
Completely agree with you, but ppl also need to consider the fact that taste in music is very individual :)
Luckily there is a mute button on UA-cam !!!

Oh okay. Thanks again, and I will try this method. God Bless.

Does this work on any fabric ?

Montenegro Crafts I’ve been looking for something to help me just paste my printed idea onto a shirt, so I can embroider over it. But it’s a more complicated design and I don’t wanna trace it. Would this work?
yes it would, but keep in mind that glue will make your shirt a little stiff, it will not be flowy . if you are ok with that then go ahead
Montenegro Crafts thank you
Montenegro Crafts ........is it washable.......plzz tell
You don't show what product your using and I'm in Australia so no idea what it is by looking at the yellow container, so not much help to me
