Met him at the Olympia in Dublin a couple of weeks ago, and not only is he incredibly talented, he's also one of the most genuine, humble people that I have ever met. Such a lovely guy, deserves his success.

I don't think Jake's new album has any fillers in it. It is really a true album and I love every song so far. I really like how it feels nostalgic when it is in fact new music. He is such an old soul and we all love him for this.
The way his voice flows in this is absolutely beautiful.

When this song came out I was in middle school and my mom used to play it all the time. It's only been five years but alot of terrible things have happened since then and I lost alot of very important people and things. This song brings me back to a time not to long ago when everything was happy and simple.

You know a song is great when it seems like it's so short, & it's really not, like this is over 5 minutes, & it seems like it's short & you just want it to go on for longer. I'm surprised tbh that there aren't more views on this because of it being used on TV recently, & they have been advertising the hell out of Houdini, & people have been asking what song it is, so I was expecting it to have millions of views by now.

Ary Hopkins I think they had to mess about with it to make it fit in with the trailer, one bit is chopped out and shifted elsewhere to make it fit the 'story'. Sound best live IMO.

I feel this song speaks to people that have had loved ones that have left them. To me this song speaks about my dad when I looked up to him and then him leaving me for a different life when I was young making me feel neglected. Finally trying to make up the times he missed but being to late....
To me its about loving someone who Isn't happy with Who they are and is constantly trying to achieve more.
After 7 years, I still can still crawl into a ball and cry my eyes to this song.

I wish Jake Bugg still made songs like this. His first two albums were his best, and best selling. Then he went off the rails and did styles/genres that I don't like, and that didn't sell well.
