My perception must be totally off because too my eye the smart adjustments don’t really have a positive impact on the images. Even in the first example the white balance is pretty different. And on some of my own pictures I made the experience that copying numerical values for the white balance often time gives me better results than using smart adjustments.
For example I made a series of photos of my daughter under nearly the same conditions (same exact place, 20 images within a minute). The white balance varied a tiny bit between those images and I thought this would be a pretty easy situation for smart adjustments. But after using it the difference in colour was much bigger than before. Not a fan so far.
Yeah, I agree (just based on the first set of images which is as far as I watched). Color doesn't match and the exposure is off as well. The subject is overexposed in the two shots taken from the side angle with more dramatic lighting. The highlights on his face are almost blowing out. Whatever AI algorithms are working here don't seem to recognize the difference between a relatively evenly lit face vs one that's 90% in shadow with a sliver of highlight.
This feature sounded really tempting at first but based on this it's definitely not enough to lure me away from Lightroom with how amazing its masking features are now.

Help! Can anyone offer advice on what I might be doing wrong? I can select one image and 'apply' the changes fine but when I select multiple images it only adjusts the first image. I must be missing something when making the selection.
Hi, please go to Image -> Edit All Selected and check whether it's enabled.

I was always quite disappointed with the results 'Auto Adjustments' give. So this new 'Smart Adjustments' feature is a huge improvement in my eyes. Thank you so much. This speeds up my work a lot. Also thanks for these solid videos.
Where do I get the new sub styles pre-sets? Are they free or paid.
Hi Brett. Log into your account at www.captureone.com and then view Order History. You can download updated Styles there if they have been updated.

If you have purchased Styles packs in the past, you can re-download the updated ones free of charge.
To re-download, either check the confirmation e-mail with the invoice you received once the purchase was completed and proceed with the link to download Styles, or log into your FastSpring account and go to the Orders tab. Find the needed Styles on the list and click Download.
