Nice tutorial, thank you very much, I have a question, hope to be clear with my "bad english" ... I shot my photos with my Sony and Fuji always in Raw and in Jpeg ( both) just to have a SOOC file as I like, but when I edit photos, I edit Raw... when I was using Capture One 11, every raw imported, was "washed" of its "picture style" preset that the camera give to them, so I can see the pure raw colors, is it possible to do it now with capture one 23 or capture one express 22 during the import fase or after it? Thanks if you can help me!!

Hello Ian! Recently tried out capture one, I have a question, how es the best way to import so you don't loose quality in the fotos? Or how do you normally export your files?
Hey! Importing shouldn't effect the quality of your photos at all. When it comes to exporting, I usually export at 100% quality as either a TIFF for retouching or just as JPEG.

You didn’t explain how you imported the selected photos after the cull, do you have to star rate them or what?
Once I select the files I want, I just click import and it's done! You don't have to star rate them but it can be helpful if you like to organise your files further before import.
@@ianhippolyte thank you for your reply regarding selecting and importing. I didn’t make my question very clear. I wanted to cull images that have been stored on my hard drive. The cull feature seems to be ideal for importing, but will not allow culling on files that have been previously imported, maybe I have missed something.
@@vincentoliver you can also cull once the images have already been imported by going to File > Cull Images or clicking the ‘Cull’ icon on the toolbar.
@@ianhippolyte Thank you for that info. However, this does not work, yes you can do all the view similar and rate the images etc. but you can’t delete any unwanted images using the Cull function that have been previously imported. This is a bit of an oversight from Capture One. I guess for future imports then using the Cull tool will work to delete the unwanted shots.
