Crew Motorfest looks good but I still say imo that Tokyo Extreme Racer 2 for Dreamcast is the greatest racing game ever
Beyond excited for Lords of the Fallen though I'm sure my PC won't be able to handle it.
Expeditions Mudrunner was a big surprise for me, wasn't expecting to get excited about a game like that but here we are. Forza Horizon but just the barn finds and with more realistic physics? Yes, please!

Killing Floor 3! Here we go. Killing Floor 2 was and is an excellent game. I still love Killing Floor (1) the most but the release of Killing Floor 2 was great. Their approach to early access was really smooth, by slowly releasing weapons, classes, and maps, but the core mechanics were always there. It's clear that KF3 will follow a similar approach. Likely early access and it will slowly bring the series to UE5.
I hope they continue to have features like gibs, blood, fluids etc. on the PC side. I love those little gimmick features in the settings.
Isla is right, Starfield theme does have very familiar sequences, I can't quite tell where I've heard it but yes definitely...

While the world and the encounters (aside from fun boss fights) being kind of not excellent. The Last Epoch definitely has very good systems and easier to understand than most games. Definitely a more meaningful skill and loot system than D4.

Yeah, and that's me for 99% of this showcase. I have so much stuff to play that literally everything here is gravy. A mountain of gravy on top of the gaming buffet. I'm still going back and forth on Starfield, hoping that it'll be the first game in years to captivate me the same way Fallout 3 did all those years ago.

Absolute train wreck of an event. I had supremely low expectations but my god … what a car crash that was.
Except it wasn't. It's supposed to be an "update on some games" kinda show, which it was. If you think this was a train wreck, then your expectations were still way too high, especially when Keighley said it's not a game awards or E3 show.

Every year people complain about Game Awards but also every year it seems to be the general consensus that the current year was better than the last one, so it seems to be improving?
@@Nergal134 The nominees are getting weaker and weaker, the pool of good games smaller and smaller. Pick any year from the 90s, go to google and type in “best games of 199X” and look what pops up, not just good games but dozens upon dozens of all time greats. GOAT tier games in each year. These days you struggle to scrape together three worthy nominees. Some of the most underwhelming and controversial winners each year.
