I'm 4 years late on this clip but I miss basketball during lunch. High school was largely a waste of time but it's the extra outside activities you enjoy the most (experimenting with weed, hanging out with buddies at Halloween, messing around with dumb chicks, trying to beatbox in the hallway while everyone else is studying).
+jasonw131 - I've always thought that kids are way smarter than we give them credit for. I don't see why we couldn't teach 5-6 year olds long division if we made the method interactive enough. How many times can I take three apples away from a group of nine apples? I'm not saying it would be easy, just that it would definitely be possible.
MagikGimp keep in mind that Jeff mentioned he went to a Montessori school, which isn't a normal public school. Montessori is a kind of experimental, open style of schooling that has a lot more faith in the discovery potential of kids, and can be more advanced than typical public schooling.
I think the idea that a kindergartener can learn long devision should be a slap in the face of any modern educational system. We can save kids YEARS of wasted time teaching them shit they should already know.
