- In this DIY Auto Repair video, young mechanic Aiman will give you ideas and show you step-by-step on how to remove, replace or re-install the inner door panel trim of a Honda Accord 7th Gen model year 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007 (DX, LX, EX). Although the tutorial is for the left (driver) side, the right (passenger) side door instructions should be the same.
The procedures might be very similar (with slight variations) to most late model Honda and Acura vehicles such as Civic, Element, CRV, Pilot & Odyssey SUVs and minivans.
Honda recommends replacing with genuine OEM parts from dealership, however aftermarket parts usually are much cheaper and can be purchased at local auto part stores such as AutoZone, Advanced Auto Parts, O'Reilly, A1, AM Best, RockAuto, eBay or Amazon.
We're taking apart this car, and while doing so we would like to show you, and give you ideas on how-to take apart certain parts and components, interior, exterior, underbody and in the engine compartment so it they can assist you in fixing, removing, replacement & installation undertakings.

Aiman, Don't apologize for what you called stuttering you did an excellent job on this video and described what you were doing very well and understandably. You were just explaining what your process was in a relaxed manner and there was not necessary to talk technically as if you were the guy that designed the door. I enjoyed the job you did and that you didn't have an attitude of a "know it all" who is showing all of us his expertise, but just helping us out so that we can know how to take care of the job. Bravo, and thanks for your great informative video!
BIG RESPECTS for this 14 year old young man showing us how to do mechanics. Kudos for you, guy. Good job! You do a great job explaining these steps. I'll be attempting to replace the door handle and the window motor thing that puts the window up and down lol I forgot the name of it
Good job Aiman.
We're going to the junkyard today to get an entire door and may have to swap panels due to color. Thanks for your help.
You don't really have a stammer. You're grasping for nomenclature like you said. I used to stutter in grammar school and went to a speech therapist in 2nd grade. I was taught that I see the whole paragraph that I want to relay to others in my mind and try to get it all out at once. I was taught to slow down and get out one sentence at a time. You're very smart and I'm guessing that's it plus the nomenclature.
✌🤙
Thanks man just helped me make a much-needed replacement
Maaaaaan I'm gonna go to the junkyard and get these black leather v6 model panels and redo my special edition that's got cigarette burn holes in them!! Thanks kid!!
Solid video, dude!
It is simple than I thought, thanks for taking time to explain details, appreciated
What a great kid and very diligent! Your video sure assisted me all the way over here in Australia, thanks for a great little tutorial mate!!!!!
This video helped me
How do you take off the panel if the door will not open cause the lock knob is stuck in lock?
What would you recommend to do if the clips that hold in the fasteners are cracked/broken making my door loose; when I pull on it, it pulls the trim first then the door and sometimes my locking and opening mechanism seems to not engage or disengage. I removed the door panel and guess I pulled a little to hard and fast and broke some clips when I tried to replace the OEM from speakers 6.5 in. A reply would be much appreciated and as always keep up the great and informative content! 💯
