Lang workholding zero point system disassembly

In this Video I show you my 52 mm Lang Workholding zero point plate and how it works.
I am very happy with the system, it is very high quality and the price of about 500€ is a very good value for the plate.

i introduced the lang system in our shop floor around 8 years ago, we have around 100 vices and 50 Lang-zero point pallets. A really reliable system. Not a single pallet has failed this far, a view vices got crashed but no loss to age-related consumption

It's just a plug for the middle hole. Its open on the underside so coolant can exit from the holes.

The plate looks aluminum. Are there steel inserts in there?

the complete palete is steel, just really nicely grounded, so i looks a little like aluminum

I have same things but there is no one system has zero point every time max 30 micron difference
