Great pedals! Can’t go wrong with either one. I personally use a new one with the Rolling glide cam instead of the more popular Power glide cam. I have a very heavy foot and was brought up on a Ludwig speed king pedal which by its design is a direct drive pedal. So the Rolling glide cam feels right to me. The oblong shape of the power glide with the little boost at the end of the stroke just feels strange to me. And the swivel spring for the new iron cobra is more of a marketing gimmick than massive improvement. Look at your spring and the spring in the hole pivots just fine. And almost seems like the added movement of the whole mechanism might not be as good as they think.
It really is a great pedal to start out double bass drumming for sure! I actually wanted newer edition but I had to go with this one cuz it was cheap haha
