How can I lengthen my arms?
Shorten ur club
Surgery
Eat spinach
keep pulling on your plonker - one will grow so it’s a win win
The internet is a very dangerous place ..
And he just steps up and stripes it. No messing about. Effortless, and a swing that will keep him playing for a LONG time. Come on Ryder Cup!!
I'm seeing more DP tour in my algorithm online. I didn't ask for it but I really appreciate it.
I love that analysis. He's going to be a treat to watch for years to come
Go Ludvig!! Looking forward to the Ryder Cup.
One of the best vids I’ve seen in a while here 😊
and then there's Jon Rahm lol
And Sandy Lyle before him
And Tony Finau
And Charles Barkley
Looks so effortless but we were watching him on the range and he has to be in the upper 10% power wise. He absolutely stripes it. Looks as smooth as a Ken Griffey Jr baseball swing
Perfect analog. Both KGJ and LA are smooth as butter but they have this immense power in their swing. No wasted movement, only application of force where it matters. So impressive.
@@JGRoesink like Ernie Els back in the day or early Adam Scott just flawless motion creating immense power
Love the description of muscles being like elastic bands. Probably best to leave muscle physiology to an (err) expert maybe.
100% wrong
this guy dont understand golfswing mechanics
But he is fluid and tension, free, who can't run fast if you tense your body or try control your actions.
H es as loose as goose, swings with no fear, relaxed speed, he is great to watch
i lost brain cells reading this
@@charlieballington3767 , did you ever have any
Obviously your a problem child
Aberg is a goose 🪿
@@charlieballington3767 I tried reading it 5 times, then I gave up.
Best swing in golf
*Very NICE moving without moving off the target line, built for the LONG TERM safely, and swinging the sweet spot around the world cha-ching.*
Would that Hand path also prevent over top swing or is it something else in his swing
Hand path length does not necessarily equal not coming over the top but a lot of factors that get you to a longer hand path length, such as good structure of not breaking your elbows down early, proper takeaway etc, set you up for swinging on plane.
hand depth prevent OTT. full turn.
Hand path in this instance is the length of the arc the hands travel in, it’s got no correlation to coming over the top or not. That’s swing plane
It helps to be built like a defensive end to hit the ball very far.
Great golf swing because it is "connected" and in sync with his entire body .
buzz words means nothing
Anyone know the name of the background music?
Not apples to apples, but we said similar things about cam champs swing but he disappeared into the sunset 😢
Cam struggles with putting.
Rory Mcilroy is not very tall but still hits the ball far.
Yes. Still trying to figure that one out
bc rory has worked so much and so hard for his driving. he has built muscles on his body like a boxer, not a golfer. and when u are strong and stable no matter how tall u are u will still be able to drive far. i believe thats why the putting isnt the best attribute of rory, if it was aswell then he would have a lot more majors
I don’t understand this analysis because gears says that pga tour players hand speed spikes at the start of the downswing and their hands are actually decelerating as they reach the ball.
Pendulum
yes, a double pendulum to be exact, so the hands slows down because they are delivering body energy to the club.
Yep, the analyst doesn’t know what he’s talking about!
Would love to see Ludwig’s swing superimposed on Gordon Sargent’s and see differences (if any)
He lags it SO perfectly at the top
not a secret. his size allows him to hit far.
How does this translate to the senior recreational player?
Stop the music please......!
Hmm…I still think it’s how effectively they load and release the clubhead against the leverage points of the body such as, and especially, the hands.
2:17 Tour players have longer arms..?
So i need to grow 7 inches, got it.
At least somewhere
@@user-pu1js4cg2ynah i got that going for me and still suck at golf. I think it’s the taller thing.
Jon rahm?
It's a sweet swing for sure but more importantly he plays fast. That's something for amateurs to learn
You forgot Adam Scott, arguably the BEST swing on tour...
Regarding your premis, please explain Joh Rahm's ability to hit bombs…
They dont because they have no clue what they are talking about. For majority of people, shorter swing, maybe not like Rahms but still shorter, would make them hit farther and better.
jon rahm is extremely wide on his backswing, look how extended they are compared to amatuers
Everything is "hard" when you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how to use the tool. Once you understand how to use the tool it becomes easy. Also, the muscles are stretched far more at the beginning of the downswing than they are at the top.
So he hits it further because he’s taller? Doesn’t check out. The more extravagant swing analysis gets, the more (I think) obvious it is that it’s all just speed/path/contact. That’s it. The answer for all sport excellence is neurological excellence
Take a look at the best ball-striker ever - Ben Hogan. Hand path? Not much.
Ball striking and swing speed are different things. Hogan hit incredibly efficiently at the time because his timing was unbelievable compared to everyone else. Now everybody times it amazingly and yet ludvig still hits longer than most with minimal visual effort. It’s simple physics that the hands path creates speed. The more time you have to accelerate the higher the speed you’ll reach
@@gabrielslater0505 But then there is terminal velocity. There is only so much speed anyone can achieve. Just like an object falling out of airplane it will reach terminal velocity and stop accelerating. More path wont equal more speed. Then there is leverage. Longer the shaft the more path you need to accelerate it. There is no reason someone shorter with shorter club cant swing as fast, thats also simple physics.
I wish i was a little bit taller…
I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good
@@calle9368i would call her
I wish you were taller
Long story short, he’s has a lot of width in the back swing.
wow so a dude with a mouthful of spit just waffled for 5 min about how tall he is? Great content guys
High hands...
So he's tall?
That's not much of a secret.
Tell john rahm that.
Wreck em
Heavy load on the top and explosive release through impact.
But, Jon Rahm?
Looks like NIck Faldo in his hay day. Simplistic motion that is repeatable. Needs no technical explanation just watch. Nick did it just as well.
First
This is comedy gold. Two of the longest hitters on tour are Rahm and Finau. And they both have short swings😂😂😂
I’m sure this video will be helpful to some, but for others, I feel like this is misleading in a way. What those pros are doing is coiling and uncoiling. All that power and speed is being generated by rotation. If you bump your hips forward on purpose, all it’s doing is limiting your ability to rotate and uncoil. The going forward phase of your swing should happen naturally. Imo, you should focus on keeping your backswing on plane with the some nice width and loading properly. Min woo Lee and Ludvig Aberg are good examples.
Spit out your potatoe please,
Those hand path dimensions are wrong as shown in this video . 70 Inches = 5ft 10" - im 5ft 10" and I can get my hands up to 66" and im 60 years old. - I would say looking at Ludvig, he must be circa 80" , so it looks like your numbers are out by a factor of 10"
Hand path? What about Rahm? This is dumb.
analysis wrong
Have no idea what he does.
“You’re short so give up”
Naw i dont trust a guy wearing adidas but hitting a titleist
henrik stenson copy
NO LOL
flying right elbow anyone?
Wrong.
good video but the narrator's voice is a jar
Butchered both ludvig and nicolai's names, nice.
He doesn’t compress it. Professional picker
What a poor analysis
Ah, back to the hyperbolic nonsense.
Hahaha.. there is no secrets. Its simple, he practice a lot with good teachers
