- This loaded 20' sea container needed to be moved to it's new home, so I got the rollback fired up, stopped for some rainy day pizza, and headed down to get it moved!

having crap around the containers is normal. Not moving the crap from around the container you wanted moved tells a lot about that person
Years ago I worked for a company that moved containers on a daily basis. Pulling up to a container that still had stuff piled around and against it is the normal. It is always a rare surprise when one is actually ready to go
How long do you think it will take to have junk piled around it at the new location?
@@davidgates1122 not long,
Whatever doesn't fit inside.
Hahaha 🤣
The more stuff piled against and around the container causes the moving price to increase 😂😂😂
Not ship shape
It’s comforting to watch a video that shows no politics.
THANK YOU!!!!
I second this!
Well....now that you've the door.......😯
Again Casey shows real professionalism. Chaining down not only the bottom of container but also CROSS chaining the top of container to his load deck. Can't count the trucks that come into the station down road and can actually watch the containers lift up the side that the truck is turning.
Again, for your descriptive monolog
as you work, I express many thanks
should have container locks on the bed so dont have to chain down
@@greghurrell9694 it's not a container hauling truck, so no real need for those.
Was the bottom chained?
With the way Casey hooked the chains, it looks to me as he caught the corner shipping mounts of the container. Locking it in place to the truck deck
Geeze. I used to run containers on a roll back everyday. The way I would chain down the containers, I could probably tip the truck upside-down and it wouldn't move. I remember waiting to be loaded with a container. Watching the honey bucket truck get loaded first. He just threw 2 straps over the top and called it good. That's sketchy..
I’m not responsible for the choices I make when a Casey video pops up! Should be changing the battery in my riding mower so I can mow before it rains in an hour or so, but here I am watching his video! 😉👍
Why not set the battery to charge and watch the video in the meantime? =)
Why not do the mowing first and watch Casey during the storm?
I should be changing out the blade.I just bent yesterday and Finishing mowing but I mean, I hate Casey Ladell. Why else would he come first?
why not let the grass grow and keep watching Casey? Grass isn't going anywhere and mowing next week is just fine too.
Casey, I love your “squirrel” moments! Hey look, friend’s truck! Oh by the way, I eating a pizza lunch because that is what you do when you are trucking in the rain.
It is amazing, even though you have two trailers to store things, it still does not avoid the clutter around them! No need to apologize about camera angles! We all miss Grumpy or Ethan, but watching you work makes this Baby Boomer smile!
That 5 seconds of block usage saved 15 minutes of screwing around trying to get it on the bed.
Why do people never clear their junk for you? Charge extra!
I was thinking the samething
Environmental clean up, hazardous materials other times.
Only Casey can get 1000’s of people to watch a mundane video moving a container lol even me 🤷🏻♂️
No such thing as a terrible video from you. We enjoy all of them just the way they are.
I used to run a tilt tray, picking up and dropping off generators. Whenever they were coming on the deck crooked, we had a trick to straighten them. Hook a chain to the corner of the generator at the rear of the truck, towards the side you need it to move. Then hook the winch to the diagonally opposite corner and start pulling in. You’d be surprised how quickly it moves sideways. Thanks for taking us for the ride.
yeah , i've seen Casey use that trick in several of his previous videos
@@888johnmac ah, I only came across his channel about a week ago. Working my way through his back catalogue.
@@daleboulton1169 .. no worries , you will enjoy the back catalogue
@@daleboulton1169 Oh, you missed a lot of cool stuff ... both his towing business and family life.
Not only does he go on about how he is doing things so there is no question whether he knows what he is doing or not but holds no punches when he tests a product so doesn't have dozens of sponcers.
His boss? Her name is Riley !!!!
The guy that owned the rigging company that I worked would have never let us move a container (or anything else) in the rain. He had a YUGE fear of the objects we moved slipping off wet decks of trucks and wet forks of lifts. Honestly, good job on getting a job done. We were wimps.
In a lot of places in the world that pretty much means not doing anything 80% of the time..... Must have been a sunny fair weather place.
@@ckm-mkc The company was in Philly and sadly, we were heading toward insolvency when I left after 2 years. I could get jobs, but if the owner would not release my crews to work when the smaller customers needed a move to happen, clients were mad and the reputation meant we lost our good word of mouth for being dependable. Big corporate customers appreciated that policy, but the mom and pops that were the bread and butter of the operation between the big jobs were lost to our competitors.
Re threading the rope on the winch spool is made so much easier in comparison to wire rope. A major win for Yankum rope!!
It’s a good morning. Fresh coffee, fresh Casey video, sleepy cat on my lap. Excellent!
Sounds familiar...i just finished my coffee and Casey's video and my cat is sleeping on my lap 😂😂😂!
Glad you still have the rollback Casey! Great video thanks for sharing! 👍🏽
A lot of the tilt trays around here have popup container pins, which makes life a lot easier.
People who have containers flush on the ground, ugh! It kills the underfloor in a couple of years (and gives the vermin somewhere to hide), all mine are up on concrete-filled cinderblocks. The customer is going to learn that's a good idea the hard way.
I won’t put them on blocks. They go on the ground and if the customer wants them up on something, that’s up to them to figure out on their own
My 20 foot box is sitting on 2 extremely heavy 9 foot long Railroad ties. The box is 8 feet wide. One tie at each end. The Rabbits, Squirrels, Skunks, and Racoons and Mice just love that 9 inch crawl space. Concrete filled cement blocks absorb water then freeze can collapse under weight.
Freezing isn't an issue here, we rarely see it get down to freezing and never below. At any rate, I didn't think they'd absorb that much water, they build buildings out of them. @@scuss2
@@marvindebot3264 If sitting on the bare earth they will absorb. Built into walls they sit on a concrete footing. People in my NM State like to kill themselves when using cement blocks to hold their cars up while they work on them. Gee, 2 Jack stands at Harbour Freight cost as much as a case of beer.
@@scuss2 Two jack stands at Harbor Freight have a reputation for being about as safe as those cement blocks.
When people burry a tree stump, they rot in the ground and as they rot they create soft spots above it.
Always appreciate your comments about why you do what you do
i loved the "FLASH" Casey chaining and unchaining the container...... LOL Great video,
The quality of the video to me was very good
Another great job in the books. Thanks for taking us along.
"do you sell containers?" , i would've replied "not usually, but i'll give you a good deal on this one!"
"You sell these things too?"
Tell us you don't watch Casey's videos without telling us you don't watch Casey's videos.
New business venture for Casey?
I'm just wondering who calls a towing company and thinks they might sell shipping containers.
Thanks - always enjoy no matter what camera you use - you work in a different world than I know and find it very educational.
You never make a terrible video. I look forward to, and love every one of them.
Cup of coffee and a Casey video. Recipe for a great break
The quality of the video is but a small issue in the scheme of things ...
It's the quality of what the video is about and we always get high quality material from Mr. Ladelle !
That he goes over everythnig that he ( or his family ) does is a plus.
There are times that he even badmouths himself ... Great video ....
I absolutely love watching a professional with common sense do their job. Common sense far outweighs schooling.
You are the best one I have seen. I’m an arm chair nitpicker. You give me nothing to nitpick about!!! Thank you Casey. You are the real deal!
Fun video. Good to see the Blue truck back in action. The high speed action looked like you had too much redbull. 😂
🤣😂🤣
Good morning Casey I like the fact of seeing what you see in my opinion it makes a good video.
I would of thought that people would have cleaned up around the container and made your job easier to try and help you out some.
As long as you or we can make out what your doing it's good video
A couple of chunks of wood, easily available and immensely useful.
I don't think the quality of the camera was that bad - you gave an excellent narrative for us to follow along, so it's all good in my mind!
Yep. A sensible well-delivered narrative works well in reality documentaries regardless of how many fancy camera angles are available. Maybe Grumpy might like to go on some of the more interesting jobs?
Video was decent Casey, sound too. No complaints here. Be safe out there.
Great job Casey 🤙😎
Casey, I have noticed the description people all over our Country have called these containers. You call them a Sea Container, Rory Irish calls them a Connex, and I call them a China Shipping Container. Mine is about 20 years old and has a Teak wood floor, nice smell when you open it up.
This was a cool video. Thanks for taking us along.
I kinda like the POV camera angles. I feel like I'm seeing what you are seeing and doing throughout the job. I can virtually experience what it takes to do what you do without having to use my own brain.
Should charge extra hazard pay for the acrobatics to walk around the container when hooking up. Off. Nice job.
Thank you, Casey.
Like your sweatshirt.
I always use a chain and the wheel lift to straighten out containers.
Safety chain to the wheel lift on the side you want slide it, then a j hook or chain from the wheel lift to the container on the other side. Extend out and it slides right over.
No problem about the video. Relax we enjoy watching your vids!
If you put a hole through the end of each block (dunnage), and then put a rope loop through the holes, you'd have an easy carry handle to move the blocks around.
It great Casy just a video of learning how for us is cool
I do home HVAC. Its amazing when someone's heating system needs to be replace how much junk is against the furnace or there is no room to work. I've charged the customer for moving their stuff or reschedule with a trip charge for the time out. Time is money.
Watching this video and outside my window there is almost same weather as what Casey got here. And I´m like on the other side of the world.
Have you ever had to move a container, then surprise, some crap mysteriously piled on top comes sliding off?
Yep
Add that to the checklist crap away from all sides and crap off the top of the container.
You Never cesses to amaze me on your tricks to get stuff done.
Would have never thought about using the bed angle and winch to get that container straight.
Nicely Done, Casey
A video of any kind is always a good one from Casey.
you know, it sucks that the rollback died right when you were about to sell it, but it doesnt seem like it was a terrible thing to happen
Thank you for another great video. I thoroughly enjoy watching your content while my trailer is being loaded.
geez the stuff you have think about -septic tanks, water lines,,
You do a great job 👏
I've hauled 100s of Seacontainers with A Landall 48' and have been in some real issues
Thanx for sharing your experience
Have a Great Day 👍
The debris around that container was a hazard for you to work around and certainly shows disrespect on the owners part. I would have been pissed if I had to work around someone’s garbage like that to do a join for them!
Cant believe he just stands there whilst you navigate all his crap
GOOD JOB
I'm watching you effectively say "I really shouldn't try this in this weather" while still going to do and all I can think is "I am also a masochist who enjoys making my job worse."
I didn't mind the video quality. Thanks for the video
Casey, the video was good. great job getting the Container picked-up and droped-off at the customers home..
Awesome video! Awesome delivery! 😊 Thanks for sharing!
The video was fine. Even the sound was fine. Thanks Casey
Wow Trucking in the USA is very different as regulations as compared to Australia, but having said that, they are catching up with you blokes!
Its always interesting watching someone else chain down a container.
Your back is younger than mine, but you throw a lot of equipment on the ground only to pick it up again. I woulda grabbed 2 hooks and then made another trip up to grab the other 2 before I would have bent over to get them off the ground. That said, you have a process that works (very well) for you, don't let me influence your process.
Dang it now I want a pepperoni pizza and it's only 9:30AM
Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep Casey LaDelle from his appointed rounds! 😅
Another good job done sucessfully Casey...Stay safe and see you on the next one
The video was good, really.
You do the best you can with what you got, Casey.
Centering that was a work of art! Wow!!
Video quality is fine for me. I wouldn't have noticed a thing if you hadn't mentioned it 😉
Great video. Thanks for posting it
That rollback truck sounds so good.
A Casey video is always a good watch: Good Bad or Ugly! 😁
That individual started the stacking with them fence posts behind the container, before the container arrived.
Great Video! rotting tree roots make depressions in ground too!
Nifty manoeuvring there, Casey. Nice job.
i dont think this was a bad video in any way i enjoyed it! i need some bad filming and this isnt one!
Da cammeraw dod yust fined, ..Heyyy, ware awl urs trolls GO? Love your videos. Thanks for sharing.
Slick!
THANK YOU
Looks like another job well done!
I drove a Mac Tools truck that was an International. It had that Forklift Steering as well. I parked it in the downtown angled parking spaces by backing it in the opposite direction.
My buddy who drove a Ford F-350 Dually watched and wondered how I had done it.
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 are for the great video.
Great video...reminds me of my flat bed hauling days
Hey Casey !! As you know,, some things just happen for the better just like the ""ROLLBACK"" breakdown as it stopped you from selling it !! HAHA 🙂🙃😉😋👍👍👍👍👍
All good.
I have pins to put in the side of the deck to keep them straight!
Interesting , Thank You .
You undo your binders so fast!!! Think if you had a drill. LOL.
Maybe at each work site you put the insta 360 on a tripod and just drop it down and let it run till your done in case you need other footage? You can add dialog from your prime camera in post if needed.
Great work boss!!
When I hauled those with a lowboy, I used to just hook a chain to the bottom of each corner and cross tie to the other side of the trailer.
That’s an absolutely stupid way to tie them, and will NOT hold them in place of things go wrong.
I think the word stupid is a little out of line but I see where hooking them from the top is better. I didn’t move them much so I didn’t have specialized long hooks nor storage room for them. I had hauled big A/C units on flatbed and the manufacturer required them to be tied from the bottom.
@@davidkeys1879 nope, not out of line at all. You were hauling something down the road in an incredibly stupid and dangerous way, so stupid is the perfect word for it.
@@CaseyLaDelle well this is 5 comments generated. I wonder if anyone else will jump in here lol. Have a great day asshole. I hate Casey Ladell. 😉
A lot of similar skills displayed in this one as in those 'Shed Repo' videos, except they use that very specialized equipment. You don't need the $40k shed repo trailer......
I refuse to move sheds
"ROLL OVER TESTED" more info, please
he rolled a truck down a hill w/ a loaded 40 ft container and it stayed on happy as a clam. theres pictures in a couple of his videos a while back
Good video.
Seriously, Casey, you having to do acrobats around the C-R-A-P near that container is absurd!! You'd think if someone was coming to haul it for you, you'd at least have the decency to give that person room to work!! Geez 😶
Couldn't contain myself. I just had to comment.
Seems like most people are collectors of fine random stuff lol
As a person who spent over 10 years working trailers/ containers for WMT in TN, I can honestly say, Casey you are very good at moving them around! However, on my watch they had to be empty, cleaned out and ready to go when being picked up. Not piles of stuff in the way, ie pallets buggies. Stay safe out there! Ps. Miss Ethan, but you still have Grumpy when the missus lets him go out!😊
Nothing like working in a mine field around that container!!!
