Wander for travel. It's not always the best resolution, but street view in VR is far better than just on a screen, and is definitely one of the first apps I show people who are exploring VR for the first time.
I wish you could watch films with bots, though. Don't like watching them with real people online or by myself in virtual cinemas, at least the big ones.
@@echelon2k8 Yeah, it is a little lonely at first, but once the movie gets going, I don't notice people in real life cinemas anyway, so it quickly becomes irrelevant.
Yes! VR can provide so much value also outside gaming and save space and money at the same time. No more need for a home cinema, pool table, table tennis table, expensive holidays, private jet, fast car, ...
Great list! Did you know that you can also record spacial video via Quest Games Optimizer? Got to switch it on in the settings. However, I love also any good VR immersion and 'traveling' and will definitely check out Brink Traveler 😍
I saw this video a month ago, pinned it and basically saw it in 6 small blocks over and over - This is not just a fast fleeting one, this is one to go back to and get inspired by. Lots of stuff here i WANT to use my Q3 with/for and not just wireless Alyx etc. Especially the learning stuff, live sports, MR when it comes, sidequest maybe, but the reliving mems via spatial DEFINITIVELY! Fitness i wanna try, actually do Bodycombat in RL! Creativity sometimes, but i prefer a real whiteboard and stickers there, but for work (eventually) i can see it being a thing in the long run.
Thanks for the videos, there are quite a few titles I didn't know about. Great that CitraVR seems to have improved, last time I checked VR support had just been checked into the repository. I'd really love to play 3DS games in 3D. 😊
Hl! Do you know why Horizon worlds still isn’t available throughout the world? I mean. It’s in the name. The predecessor was removed without anything replacing it everywhere except for the us and uk and maybe some other place. I’m sad I can’t watch events there. I do get the schedules but can’t attend. Bummer.
Happy to see you doing non-game VR. It would be great if you covered some of these in detail. I'm not interested in any competitive sports. Not the exercise ones either. They're kind of self explanatory.
VR is something more amazing the more you learn about it. First time using is okay but 2 years of lots of usage, I found that softwares and support is still lacking behind its 5% potential
It's a lot more fuzzy on quest 2 because of the lenses. Also can get uncomfortably warm using a Quest 2 as the air flow and ventilation is worse on the 2. They do make face gaskets with fans built in. Also I recommend better head strap at least for the 2, as it's quite front heavy. There may be a Quest 3 light that is redesigned to be more comfortable getting announced in the fall for around the same price as Quest 2
Really sucks that VR sucks so much that we have to spend time watching youtube videos hoping for news that VR will get better instead of actually just doing things in VR
If anyone is considering Noun Town, its really not good for learning. It claims to have a contextual system for learning, but it's so random the context becomes redundant. When characters talk to you it's more advanced than the words you've learnt so far, so you have no idea what they are talking about. Waste of money.
have you ever tried to meet a couple of friends and going hiking? or going later with them for a real bar and drink real beer? gosh, it is an incredible experience, and no need headset, amazing!!
Dude you're literally someone commenting on a UA-cam video making a snarky comment about using VR headsets instead of going out. I assume you must think you get out enough, so if you can make dumb youtube comments and also go hiking then im sure the rest of us can use VR headsets and also go hiking.

Creepy World VR. It is currently a webxr experience soon to be a 3D sidequest app. It is a virtual insect museum with true macro VR.
Supernatural VR and lately I've been using virtual desktop for productivity when I'm working on personal projects
Creating art. Or fishing if that counts
I've been using my headset to watch movies for a while now.
It's basically like being in a cinema, it's great!

Right?!! Insane.
"You will own nothing and be happy."
Or food!...wait a second.
I always learn at least something new when I watch this channel.
With this post, I lost count ❤️
You two are my favorite VR UA-camrs! ❤
"Driving While Black" is also another great educational title. 11:15 Thanks for sharing the apps that utilize the Quest Pro's tips for drawing.
Oh man so many things to try out. Gotta save this one and come back to keep picking something new to try when I have time.
I'm happy to hear
These are all great ideas! Thank you for continuing to keep us updated about the state of VR.
Just seeing all the accessories in the background for vr is just too cool to see! Can’t wait til I can get my own ball rolling down the road of VR/XR
I love everything about your videos , thank you so much

Oh yeahhh I totally forgot about it until you reminded me. Good one! Loving this comment to bump it up
For meditation apps I prefer TrippVR and Maloka. They also both have phone companion apps for outside of VR.
finally! been waiting ages for these, my favorite serie!
Nobody? Come on, we're all thinking it!
No idea what you are talking about😉
😂😂😂😂 consider it a one armed workout
When I told my family I was getting the quest 2 back in the day a couple of the dirty bastards jumped straight to that
Yeah, can't go back to watching it on my phone after trying out some "Passthrough" version 🤭
So my quest 3 can game? 😂😂

As soon as you’re on vacation, she constantly knocks out content 😂
Amazing video, you can't explain this any better.
15:12 She is unstoppable !!!!🥰
AR/VR headset with inside out body tracking with lighthouse trackings quality = welcome to the technology in its true prime.

I love how this is supposed to be about everything but gaming but you can't help but mention the gaming
I'm definitely trying the language app maybe it will make learning easier
Hi. I have a regular treadmill I normally use for incline hill walking. Any quest apps you’d recommend to incorporate? Thanks :)
I would love to see a video from you about things you would like to see in VR but haven't found yet!
Really a great video! Maybe a good idea to create a series of videos in which you can go a bit more in depth of all these great possibilities

Subbed! I don't have a VR headset yet, but soon! :)
I love watch media, lately I been playing retro games!
Thanks Cas and Chary XR. 👍🏻👍🏻
🤩🤩 How about 3D VR UA-cam content :D😁😁
Vision pro is 3500 meta 3 650
Great video!

I'm getting a Quest 3 and my girlfriend a Quest 2. If we watch movies together is the quality too low on the Q2? Or is it just fine

MERCI
9:24 I can't find it on quest store 😢
Sadly that one is only on Steam. If you have a VR ready PC, you could use Air Link to stream it
@@CasandChary Oh thanks, steam is supported on Mac? because I tried downloading the quest app to play rift games but is only on pc
These are great, but does Zuck really own the vr industry? 😢

I made the 666th thumbs up, oops!

Its not a replacement for real life, its a supplemental device. Come off your high horse and try not being a douche.
5:58 in her own words

You can do both
Why are you even reading this?
