Thank you so much for breaking this posture down. When I first tried it I fell straight on to my head, got stuck and had to be rescued by my boyfriend who found it highly amusing! Thank you so much I have now cracked this posture, I feel so much more confident!
Kino, thank you so much for the detailed breakdown of bhujapidasana. I was finally able to cross and lift my feet last week by "wiggling wiggling wiggling." 😄😄 🙏🏽
Nice tutorial and hip opener tip, we have not tried this pose in my Ashtanga class. Will give it a try on my own. You are a very humble yogi to include the slip up in a pose, kudos to you! I would love to practice with you some day! Namaste! Yogi Loren
@5:35 "take 5 breaths here-1-2--3-4-5" lol. Usually you say okay 5 breaths, 1....2....then you start talking and I can't hold on anymore. I love your videos. Doing these hip openers for sore muscles from rollerskating half a day yesterday. it is 11:45 PM.
I think it is really cool you included your mistake- it makes this video inspire me to keep attempting newer asanas after I fall out. Thank you for your authenticity and humility.
I really enjoyed learning from this video. I was recently introduced to bhujapidasana by my yoga teacher however there was very little instruction so I was really struggling trying to figure out how to do this properly. Thank you Kino.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I'm thinking about adding this move to my half primary series practice as I think it's the next step forward and I'm ready.
This helps watching someone else do it! I can do most of this (without any elegance) till the end, where your legs slide around into “crow.” By then my form crumbles and the following vinyasa is a little weak.😄
The hardest part in this posture for me is getting my arms high enough in bakasana to create momentum to jump back. I usually just end up dropping one leg at a time and chaturanga. There's no hop action right now. Any tips, teacher? Thank you for all your guidance.
I’m trucker Jim, I don’t really do yoga but I feel like I did a lot by watching you.THANKS KINO,I’ll be watching other episodes so I can be mentally fit.
Yay I did it first try but I can't bend my left wrist due to a cyst so I did it on my finger tips. Couldnt touch head to ground because of that. Thnks kino
I think it's awesome you included your "mistake". It shows even pros mess up. I hope to be as dedicated to the practice as you one day.

You always make things looks easy. I like the way you break the poses down so it's easier to understand.
I enjoy Kino's teachings and am very grateful for the tips.

Hey Kino, Does it matter which foot is crossed in front for Bujapidasana?? Iʻve had teachers tell me all different things...
Hi Shastin, it should be the right foot first :)

Hard work
Your videos ar sooooo good but it’s hard to understand what you say because, for me, not an English native speaker, is too fast.
I am a native speaker, and it's still too fast.
Change reproduction speed to 0,5 and thats all.
Listen closer...or simply replay it until U get it! That's Y it's called "Practice."
Is in it weird that she speaks that fast?
