Black Sails, The Expanse and this show. They are my holy trinity of “underrated” lol not because they don’t get enough praise (they do!), just feel like these shows are very well produced and written and their cast and writers deserve more popularity. But perhaps the lack of exposure helps / helped to keep the production of it so tight? Who knows. I came late to these reactions specifically but I’m happy you guys are enjoying one of my favorite shows as well. I cried this episode and a few other later lmao
I hate to see shows like Vikings and TLK compared. They are on such different levels. Vikings is so well known and TLK is *unpopular opinion* better than GOT. I’m gonna check these out - thanks!
I imagine that Brida blames Storri in part for killing Ragnar, since if she wasn't cursed with infertility then Ragnar would not have been with another woman that night, trying to get more offspring.

Brida was pregnant with Uthred child in season one and she lost it after Storri put a curse on her which maybe her lose the baby 👶. It was the moment I the woods but she didn't tell Uthred about it because of her vision of Uthred not being with them and from that moment on she couldn't get have children. So the curse is real and Uthred and his men are being affected by Skade's curse.
When citric questions his Lord in front of his men along with the prisoners he in a sense is being a traitor already. Typically you would voice such things in private so that others could not hear your concerns like finnin does many times. That being said both are tired drunk and have great pride so you can see where the fight would come from
Cruses are real and this show does a great example of it. The more you talk about it the more it can come into light. But man The Last Kingdom is such a phenomenal show!!! Very much underrated show and needs to be more out there.
This show does a great job of showing how curses AREN’T real and nothing more than people getting inside others heads forcing them to get too much into their own minds. Which is why there is truth to the whole speaking of it makes it stronger. Talking about it and convincing yourself there is actually a curse puts you in the negative mind leading to troubles then miscredited to the so called curse.
You've been crying out for someone to treat that monster Skade how she richly deserved, but when Haesten finally does so you are all outraged lol wtf. Such bias against mah boi Haesten the Goated, just because he hasn't got top tier cheekbones or table manners.
I'm sorry but I don't feel bad for Alfred at all. And I REALLY don't think he and Uhtred ever loved each other. Uhtred respected him at the beginning, but Alfred betrayed him so many times, for no reason, that that respect was finally lost. Alfred always saw Uhtred as nothing more than a powerful sword that he could use whenever he needed it, never as an equal. Their "relationship" was always toxic and I'm happy it's coming to an end.
Afred was my favorite while watching Season 1-2, now at this point, he became one of my least favorite character. Such a narrow-minded and controlling guy
Uhtred and Brida's relationship over the series is great. This show is really good at complex relationships like Uthred and Alfred.
I feel like you guys would love Spartacus.

It's not that Uthred is allowed to speak to Alfred like that. Uthred just don't care how he speak to folks whether they're nobles or kings.

For me the curse is not real , it's just a bunch of coincidence and they think it's real .
