Thought you're supposed to cut it towards yourself, and thats the difference of a sickle and scythe
To keep a sharp blade, both are best used cutting a small amount in an arc in front of you and keeping the blade flowing through. It is tempting to pull the cut material out of the way with the blade but that is a quick way to blunt your edge.
I think you should re film this video…with someone who knows how to use the tool like an artist as the salesperson and demonstrator.
