Yo T90, I'm not sure if you'll ever read this, but if you have a moment, I've got a wild idea for you. How about a Community Games Exploding King Championship? 🤴💣 (Probably you already had this idea or something... but I guess worth I try) You can tweak the name, of course. Here are some suggested rules: - 8 players per game - Random map/civs and exploding king - Diplomacy allowed - Wonder and relic victory allowed as usual -Player selection per game: - 2 "famous" community players - 6 random players -Championship structure: - Starts at the quarter finals, with 4 games of 8 players each -The best 4 players from each game advance to the semi-finals, and then to the final -Scoring: - Players get 1 point for each king they kill. This way, even lower-ranked players can still earn points even as l4st r3s0rt situation - 3 points for the winner, 2 points for 2nd place, and 1 point for 3rd place - 1 point awarded by chat vote for the player with the best "personality" or something - 1 point awarded to whoever you, as the caster, choose These last two scoring criteria might lead to some interesting results, as players will know that they can be rewarded for treason, loyalty, or whatever else they pull off. Let me know what you think! Also, since it's from the community to the community, anyone who reads it and has an idea post here a suggestion! You can try crowd fund the prize pool, but I can tell you already that I already would put $ 50 in it Give a like if you read and enjoy the idea!
I think Regicide Rumble was close to that idea, with a more simple scoring structure (basically money instead of points for king snipes) and your 6 random players where basically pros. Anyway, although I still hope for another Regicide Rumble, your's could be a fun side event, maybe like a promotion mini-event /showcase over just a weekend.
42:00 The terms is called diplomatic stalling. It's when tthe weaker party resume peace talks to stall out the time, so they can regain momentum. The stronger also gains from peace talks, since they come from a position of strength.
Green played like a beast lol sniping all those kings, epic snipes! The latter half of the game was much entertaining with funny characters cosplays and dialogues! Fun community games, gg wp!
Personally, I respectfully disagree on your stance with devs engaging with the player base more like someone in chat suggested. I don't think that's ever a bad thing. A good dev will make mistakes sometimes, but acknowledging them, explaining the issues that caused them and the intended fixes going forward, and most importantly, getting feedback.. communication and having players understanding things from the devs side while also having the devs know what is a priority to the playerbase is never a bad thing imo. Miscommunication and/or lack of communication with the playerbase and being out of touch with their needs and the game's needs is how so many great games and their communities have just died. Opening lines of communication with your playbase is just such an important key factor to being a successful dev that your playerbase respects imo
I have to agree, wholeheartedly. Coffee Stain Studios, the Devs behind the very successful Game Satisfactory, have proven, that a respectful communication between the devs and the community is a very sure road to success.
- Next time his mouse dies, chat needs to bully T90 into immediately going to Amazon to order a wired mouse. There's a fair chance he could get it that same day.😂
12:30 yeah i honestly have to agree with this. as someone from the For Honor community, this couldnt be more true. the community has hated the balance for years now and every single time the devs do a "Warriors Den" livestream where they talk about the game it leads to a million reddit posts and tons of videos tearing the devs apart. i definitely think AoE2 is in a much better state than For Honor is and i dont think this community would be anywhere near as harsh but i understand where T90 is coming from here. gamers can be a very toxic and reactive bunch and trying to satisfy your community can often be a lose-lose situation for devs.
Million dollar idea: ALL LEGEND COMMIE GAME! "Ooops! All Legends!" Bring in Blue Coffee and Hoang and TomTom and Red Phosphoru and Fatslob, and iSit, and CornerBoi and Snippy. All of them.
Years ago I got sick of CONSTANTLY running out of battery on my mice (well, not constantly, but it's still a pain in the A to deal with at the worst times). Went to wired mice and never went back.
Bro I just got home from grocery shopping, I got the new doctor pepper strawberry creme pop, and I got over 1 hour 20 minutes to spare. Good day for sure
Still trying to petition for a garrisonable outpost. Also potential scaling would be cool. Actually making them a viable thing later. Also amazing content and I love the commentary, it's always top notch.
Armenians have a great late game, it is surprising how amazing the 100hp champions do, even being totally generic otherwise. I guess I'm only 1100 elo but still. In fact it works pretty good against pure hussite wagons as I found out recently, though ofc the bohemian HC counter that play against them pretty hard
I saw my new fav video commentary in A certain place near a well known college in a Walmart near Another certain place where tornadoes are normal ig... I suppose I don't want to give up the info here... I sub soon though.
Thank you T90 for rigging Sam in again. He's always a pleasure to watch
😆
Only reason you didn't win is 'cause you didn't give yourself that pep talk this time 11. GG!
Man Green really did nearly everything, he was really the one in charge the entire game. In fact, you could even say he was acting like a daddy.
I'm Gregnak and can confirm I had no idea grey was sending his king into my base 11. Thanks for the game T90!
That remaining castle was so game changing 😮
24! That was an epic petard/CA snipe dude!

I'd enjoy the heck out of watching that

great idea
"But. It seems that purple has a new daddy...
Because he said 'green, you are my new daddy' "
Really cracked me up 😂😂😂❤
My Mans went to Alaska for a while, comes back and drops this title on us? what a legend
He wanted you dead
I suggested teal instead
So blue has let red know
That that’s what yellow said

They're gonna hold eachother's swords...
😂
Exploding kings are my favourite uploads from you! Love that game mode. Adds another level of betrayal.
Buy a second wireless mouse always on charge - business expense
“The amount of weird things I’ve said…” NOBODY CLIP THAT
Green played like a beast lol sniping all those kings, epic snipes! The latter half of the game was much entertaining with funny characters cosplays and dialogues! Fun community games, gg wp!
My big mistake was being loyal to red 😅
But he was my first ally, and I'm a loyal guy :)

With a title like that I don't know what to expect...
With a T90 commentating, my fears exacerbate
then it gets ON. finna get dem tangs on yo
51:38 I hope the taxes Grey paid to the Government got used for improving pathing
42:42 and 49:50
@T90Official a real-world term that may apply here is "war fatigue"
Purple not dying is called: to Frankenstein or Unholy game play.
The act of using limited rez to remain a monster. Or, the undying capacity to live!

Purple being sent North Korean "aid" 😆

The Legend of Daddy

I kind of enjoy the slow panning over the map with the arrow keys.

You can't go around holding your sword by people's shields.
I'm good with 2 steps forward 1 step back - says people who still remember the fan-patch era
Players call me daddy all the time. Might have something to do with my username being that. Who knows
Funny how Grey ended up screwing over Purple in the end

The only true name for a player refusing to die should be the Helms Deep Cosplayer

I'm surprised nobody made demos
shout out to kaminsod in yellow, I'm glad you broke those chains
T90 should be a part time Dev for Microsoft. ~8 hours week
Because of the one orange castle green missed on his ace! Could have killed everyone! Lol
Damn t90 you updating a lot lately!
I did go back and watch it first, well worth it. chat was tons funnier!
1:16:04 And he uploads this on the first day of Pride Month... 🏳🌈 11
Father 90??
spoiler
Damn shame. Green was so close to greatness.
actually the ">1" would be great to have back instead of constantly having to turn off/on
Ayo T90 lookin big in the thumbnail
Joe just really seemed to lack confidence, he could’ve done a lot more damage without just suiciding
Exploding King the best
It's called Cockroaching T90
I saw my new fav video commentary in A certain place near a well known college in a Walmart near Another certain place where tornadoes are normal ig... I suppose I don't want to give up the info here... I sub soon though.
AoE2 is getting too gone wrong, gone sexual at 3 am... conflicting feelings on the direction it's taking.
I'll say yes.
t90 should get a wireless charger built in to his mousepad. i wonder if that exist yet.
Players that refuse to die are Klingon's ;)
Tanks for All ❤
T90, not to be harsh, but it may be time for you to invest in a corded mouse.
move over Shakespeare. aoe2 commie games are more sophisticated theatre
How do you let a Noob like green win???
a community game that t90 legend failed femboy would have loved
Derp
sam!!!!!!!!
Uwu
Yay
😻😻😻😻😻
Awesome Click Bait Title :)
How about getting a second mouse or something and alternate?
This is getting annoying and embarassing. It's unprofessional.
this one was very boring.
