I experienced one of those in a 777-200 on an early arrival in Chicago in April 2016 on a flight from Hawaii. We did not feel the touchdown; the only clue we landed was the deployment of the spoilers and the reversers coming on. Was the smoothest landing I've ever experienced in 35 years of flying as a passenger or pilot.
Stunning footage views ! .. and beautiful upload and share travel trip reports and as always appreciated most of your best adventure that you shared with all of us throughout the year ! .. keep it up and I'm always behind your back to support you all the way ! .. have a wonderful blessed weekend days ahead ! .. thanks again my friend ! ..
WOWOWOWOW!!!! Super-Fantabulous views!! Anyhow, the BIG news of the week is the Parker Solar probe made it safe and sound from its closest approach to the sun, less than 4 million miles. Nothing has gotten remotely this close to it in the past. And it went 430,000 mph during its latest flyby. That's over 700 times faster than a jet liner in flight. That's Mach 560, so WAY faster that the Dark Star experimental plane that Tom Cruise flew in the movie Top Gun Maverick, about 56 times faster. And over 100 times faster than the X-15 rocket planes. That's over 100 times faster than a bullet fired from the world's most powerful rifle, so definitely faster than a speeding bullet. That's over 24 times faster than what the ISS is going around the earth. And over 11 times faster than the Voyager 1 spacecraft. That's 119 miles a second. That's from Miami to LA in about 20 seconds. So, in other words, it's a hell of a lot faster than you can walk.
This was a domestic flight. Until recently American operated one daily round trip on the 777-300/ER between Miami and Los Angeles. I believe they've stopped doing that now, but it was a staple in their network for years before that.
Here’s a video of her flying from London to JFK. ua-cam.com/video/SL1ivM6epRo/v-deo.htmlsi=-KAbxvSSZF1Dw_OR I recognized her N-Number. She’s a beautiful plane. I hope when I die I am reincarnated into a beautiful plane like she is.
Pilot really buttered that biscuit. And if you say it's the smoothest ever, I believe you. Nice footage!
Cn
That touched down like a butterfly with sore feet.
Someone give that pilot a raise cuz that was the butteriest landing I’ve ever seen 🧈
the runway was like bread and the wheels were like the knife with butter. Great job captain.
Beautiful scenery and the beautiful wings of the B777☺️✨️
damn that was smooth

Piloting mastery on display! Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 thank you for posting a beautiful landing.
Very typical marine layer morning in LA. A little concerned about the rusty wing parts visible at 17:30
I guarantee there are no "rusty" parts anywhere on that wing.

Great fly! What's your plan for New Year's Eve?
Don't know yet haha.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Was this an international arrival? I’m not sure where AA use their B77W’s domestically. Great video as always, and very smooth landing.
I think there’s still a daily 77W LAX-MIA.
