I have been an aviation enthusiast for more than 50 years. I couldn’t even begin to imagine how many takeoffs I have seen, or experienced in those decades. I watched this clip live as you broadcast it. And my jaw absolutely dropped the second the aircraft reappeared out of the mist. It dropped further when I realized the turbulence was carving a valley in that mist. My exact words were… “Oh Wow”. I am so glad you captured this, it truly is one of the most amazing aviation moments I have witnessed in the last half century, and I don’t say that lightly. Thank you.
Incredible video. The King always a gentleman to let the Queen go first. When Emirates flew through the mist it looked like the "Red Sea Parting" Thanks Peter.
This whole sequence gave me goosebumps! The weather and lighting gives it an almost ethereal quality! Seeing the wake turbulence cutting through is amazing! Thank you so much Peter!!
The best part of the video is at 8:27 Just like a big and beautiful God between the clouds. Can’t wait to travel back to LA soon. The weather is very foggy here, too. ✈️🇺🇸❤️
Amazing Golden hour at LAX, King and Queen doing a dance on the runway and then the epic takeoffs. What an great shot of the wings on the Air France! It's definitely the best of 2024.
Thanks for the highlight from yesterday’s show - it was such an incredible few minutes! Awesome job in capturing and commentary! #teamlaflights #morethanplanes #butwasallaboutplaneshere 🤩
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing view with us. The light, the cloud, the size and shapes of these magnificent man-made wonders, all comming together in one clip❤
a beautiful confluence of natural phenomena such as fog on the border of land and water and the sunset made a truly unique view of a plane taking off!!! Great job!!!👍👍👍 And in New York it snowed last night and the view was also wonderful!!!
Yes, this was the highlight of the day. Most impressive seeing Emirates A380 and Lufthansa 747 take off into the marine layer. Great camera work Peter.
I remember a few years back you were streaming from the north side of LAX and you got this incredible shot of a 747 taking off in the south, immediately followed by a Lufthansa A340-300 taking off in the north, both jumbos taking off into the sunset.
Wow!! Nice shots of the King and the Queen planes as always. And also nice camera work and great job Peter my friend. You are the best as always and we are so proud of you. We all love you my friend and see you soon.
As much as I cringe at live-streaming takeoffs and landings with commentary - this was pretty cool. The shot of the 747 breaking the onshore flow was excellent. And the cut from the Airbus is epic.
This is fantastic work, little in the way of commentary so we can just enjoy the moment and great camera work. Disappointing to see massive logos on the screen but I understand as people would steal this footage for sure. Very special moment. Subscribed. ❤

Yeah the few ruined it for all. The logos are there just to protect our content. Thanks for understanding 👍
