    I have glaucoma in one only I have adapted when I drive over the years it only perfect on the road all the time never make mistakes at all, now went for visual test with one eyelid infection took the test with a bad knee revoke my license next day with out any warning, the job I love so much and helping the council special needs transport for children and adults all gone now no point being alive without driving can't even take my partner to the hospital appointments

      Thanks so much for sharing your experience. So sorry about your experience. Our physical health can impact our mental health. It is important to discuss this with your GP or ophthalmologist as there may be a lot of help they can offer you that you might not be aware of.

    Can a person with advance glaucoma drive?

      It would be very unlikely that a person with advanced glaucoma will be able to meet the minimum driving standards of the DVLA. Always consult you optician / ophthalmologist and notify the DVLA (in England) of your diagnosis.
