What I like so much about Wampler pedals is how quiet they are when you turn them on. No white noise, he also comes up with incredible non fizzy overdrive tones. I tried the Belle and got the feel right away. It produced Marshall/Vox gain like to a cheap single coil guitar and one channel clean Fender tube amp. This guy makes great pedals
I love this pedal. It's very simple to use and it sounds amazing for a digital modulation pedal. This is the most organic sounding I've seen when it comes to digital modulation (I tested the Strymon, Boss MD's etc). I just spent the day with mine and I'm very surprised by how inspiring this pedal is. I would recommend making a video explaining all the MIDI procedures on this pedal. It doesn't seem that complicated but it's definitely the least easy thing to do on this pedal. I personally never seen a pedal company itself providing a video about MIDI on its pedals. Thank you for the great pedals you make!
Why not a third switch to go back and forth with the presets? If I use tremolo in song 1 and chorus in song 2 and tremolo again in song 3. I have to step 7 times on the switch........ otherwise only 1 or 2 times

I’d like to hear you test the Leslie with a softer guitar tone, close chord voicings, and finger picking. Maybe with a crunch/compressor before it? That jazzy tone that really sounds a lot like an actual organ. Awesome modulation.
The Strymon rotary is awesome jsyk. I have both pedals on my board though I may sell the Strymon because yes the Terraform rotary is practically just as good!!!
Cool!! Does the phaser/flanger have a continuous cycle with the effect disengaged (a la a hardwired bypass- MXR pedals do this) or does the cycle start in the same place every time when the effect is turned on (like a Strymon Mobius)?
Congrats, Brian, on a pedal that might LOOK like it does whatever every pother multi-modulation pedal might do, but clearly goes well beyond them to afford a wider spectrum of possible tones within any given category of effect than the others do. I was afraid that being a little slow out of the gate you might have missed your chance. But this seems to have been well worth the wait. Nicely done, bro! Be justifiably proud.

Kind of a big deal for me, and will determine whether I choose this one or a Mobius (which is really too big of a footprint, and pricey as well).
After going back and forth between this and the MD200, I have come to the conclusion that the rotary effect on the MD200 doesn't sound nearly as good. This has a far, far better rotary sound. Dealbreaker for me
Hey Brian, Congrats! I pre-ordered this from Sweetwater last week and I’m super excited for it to arrive. I’ve read the manual and watched all of the videos twice. I still need clarification on a few things: 1.) I can use 128 different PC messages, but only to recall the eight onboard presets, not 128 presets. Correct? 2.) Will there be MIDI CC implementation? It would be useful to bypass/engage remotely, for example. 3.) Does the tap tempo offer subdivisions? Depending on a song’s tempo, it can be murder trying to get an eighth-note or triplet tapped in. (All the demo-ers use their hands. Try that fast tap with a foot!) 4.) Does saving a rotary preset save the slow/fast position? Thanks so much!
Hey Matt! 1. That is correct. In this manner, you will assign your 128 PC messages to one of the eight Terraform presets (or bypass, more on this in a second). For example, you could assign your preset1 to PC 5, 26, and 100, such that when the Terraform receives PC 5, 26 or 100, it loads preset1. 2. Good question! There is not MIDI CC on the Terraform. However, remote bypass/engage can be done with the program change. A. When you load a preset via MIDI, it will engage the Terraform. B. You can also bypass the Terraform via MIDI by associating a program change with bypass. To do this, press and hold the Preset Button until the Preset LEDs blink. Press the Preset Button until all 4 Preset LEDs are blinking simultaneously. Send a program change via MIDI to the Terraform, and then press and hold the Preset Button until the Preset LEDs return to normal. The Terraform will now associate that MIDI program change with bypassing the Terraform. (We are adding this to the online manual very soon) 3. The tap tempo does not provide subdivisions. 4. Yes, the rotary slow/fast setting is saved with the preset. (I wasn't sure if anyone was going to ever notice this particular feature, thank you for proving me wrong!) Let me know if you have any more questions, and I hope enjoy the Terraform!
Wow, I just got mine on my board. Unbelievably awesome 👏🏼, just like every product that Wampler makes. Good grief you have a ear for detail. Buy this people.... I was going to get a good chorus as a buffer, then I saw this and another Wampler pedal on one of my boards. My boards are about 75% Wampler. Greatest pedals I’ve ever used.

So, this is NOT a 2-channel modulation pedal, such your Gearbox being a 2-channel distortion pedal...too bad, because that's what I was hoping for. Although this IS an awesome pedal anyway.
I’m thinking of ditching my Helix HX effects in favour of one of these. I’ve run helix with Analogue drive pedals for two years now, but I’m starting to tire of the Helix seemingly endless parameters. Sometimes too much choice is too much. I want to plug in and play.

Wow!!! I always wondered why Brian didn't do modulation effects... well here it is. Funny I was thinking "That chorus is pretty subtle, what if I wanted a more lush chorus..." and he switched it to DImension, nice!! This pedal sounds fantastic, nice work Brian and team

Just ordered one to replace my MD-500. Love the simplicity of the control. Hated having to spend 5 minutes dialing in something on the BOSS, even though it sounded fantastic.
I can’t wait to get mine! Ordered it today and I should have it by Monday. I’m wondering if this will end up replacing my EVH Phase 90 and Dimension C. I love both of those but the effects in this sound amazing from what I’m hearing in the videos. Great job, Brian and team Wampler!
Brian, I love just about everything you make, but I must admit, the rotary doesn’t sound or behave like a rotary cab. It sounds like the parameters of the phase/vibe retooled.
Very disappointed. VERY! There should be a law that you cannot make a Leslie effect unless you own a Leslie. A Leslie MIGHT sound like this - if you stick your head inside of it. Sent it back the next day. Note: I had a Leslie 147 in my house that I played though for twelve years. I know what it's supposed to sound like.
@@wampler_pedals Apologies, dick move on my part. I was sure I'd downsized my MD-500 after a long, drawn out, frustrating search. The Leslie was was 90% why I got both of them. I guess I need a mix control for that mode. I should have mentioned I liked the rest of the sounds very much and I expect a lot of people will love this pedal.
@@wampler_pedals The Rotary effect on this sounds leagues better than the MD-200's, I mean there's no multi-effects pedal with a better rotary effect. No shit a guitar effects pedal isn't going to perfectly replicate a rotating speaker, it's a fucking guitar pedal.
@@hey12delila Jesus - harsh - even after I apologized too. I just revisited, thinking I might give it another try after after being very impressed with the Metaverse. Nah, I'm good.
I have the pedal and I love it, however there are a few things that is very annoying. First of all is very easy to accidentally touch the preset change button in the center when turning the pedal on and off. I would suggest that when the tap tempo button is used as preset change, the middle button should be inhibited/bypassed. I have put a cap over mine. Number two, when working on a preset the current setting of each parameter is not showing when "sweeping" the pot back and forward, this is quite common on such equipment (strymon, etc). So basically it's difficult to see what the current setting is and what is changed. Hope these two topics will be improved in future firmware updates.
And good luck setting this pedal up for live use. Bought a MIDI device to use to help - I'm new to it. Asked Wampler for help. Was told "I need to man up" after doing HOURS of research online, and messing with both the Terraform and the other device, to no avail. Actually, the person who helped me, Terry, or Jerry, was rude from the second they answered the phone. Basically, the conversation ended with Terry or Jerry or whoever talking over me and not letting me speak until I had to hang up. I will NEVER buy another Wampler product.
Helo. what is the best positioning already tested?, before or after the drivers. Is it possible to change the preset with the foot or does it have to be on the small button in the center? thanks.
Mine is coming next week!! Its such a great thing to have all the modulation under one power supply, less patch cables, less pedal board space, and plenty of tweakable options. There is nothing to dislike about this pedal if you are after modulation!!
I've heard this pedal several times in videos and always been really impressed with the sounds. This could end up being one of your best in my opinion. Id love to get one for jamming/pracricing at other people's houses. It would take away the need for so many of my pedals lol. Pretty much everything in my fx loop would be covered lol. Great job Brian!
Is the harmonic tremolo sending bass and treble left and right? That's the effect I'm after but it's hard to tell. Also curious what it sounds like as a square wave. The timestamp for the dimension chorus is ten minutes early.
Hi Brian, the harmonic tremolo isn't splitting the bass and treble signals into different channels. The right channel's tremolo LFO is not directly in phase with the left channel, which gives you a stereo field when used in stereo, though. For the waveform on both tremolo and harmonic tremolo, it is a sinusoid until you max out the depth control, where it turns into a square wave.
Brian, can anything be done about the stereo behavior of the Auto Wah? Loving everything else. This looks pretty much like EXACTLY what I wanted - a true stereo, serious upgrade to my Deadbeat Modulation Station.
Wow, great looking and sounding pedal and the tweak ability and all the input output options are just spot on! Really well sorted and a great demo to boot! Thanks for all your time!!!
Sounds great! The only thing holding me from buying it, is that I sometimes need to use more then one effect at once. And cant buy two of them. Both slow flange and a bit harmonic trem. Or rotery and low dimension c. (Love the setting with the horn and the woffer) Could you make version 2 turn 2 effects on at the same time, selecting/activating 2 presets (parallel on the dry)? Although I love the simplicity of the pedal!
This pedal is absolutely amazing. I usually dont like the multi pedals with a lot of different effects in one box, but this nails it. I can see this replacing several other pedals I have already to trim down my pedal board and make it more practical. Genius work man!
Congrats on this amazing pedal guyz! Looks like very easy for control...I would put one on my pedalboard for sure - at the end of the chain and BOOM ... magic ;-)

Good days.i like to learning, on more new releases pedals ....in my mind , are old mode of brands ...( 1976 , 1999 ......
I've always wondered why you never made your own wah and called it the "WAH(mpler)". It just seems like such a natural fit! LOL!
More baby goat videos Brian! Oh and the pedal is absolutely fantastic too!!
I do have a Leslie. Calm down Dean.
UA-cam please stop recommending this channel you're gonna make me bankrupt
Hi Brian, do you have any audio or video samples of Hammond organ sounds (eg a current Nord) running through the rotary mode of the Terraform?
So when I tell my wife that cute critter comes with a 5-pedal-or-more purchase, please back me up!
The auto swell is awesome.
Awesome dude! Love the rotary function. Right now I have two pedals working together to get that variable horn and speaker oscillation effect. 👌🏼
love it Brian. i don't use any mod usually, though i love the choice in one pedal format, this will have to go on my board.
Aye mate great pedal video. Stellar sounds.
What song is used throughout and at the ending a bit longer? Sounds interesting
Helo.
what is the best positioning already tested?, before or after the drivers.
You do an amazing job teaching. You could easily be a teacher by profession.
Unwanted feedback when hooking up both pre and post. Have you heard of this issue?
Now that is an actually useful pedal. I could use.
I hate auto wahs,i guess they could be useful for some things, but not for me...I like to have the control at my feet.
Freakin nice! I may get this for just the tremolo and chorus and rotary and uni vibe and the other stuff
Brian, can anything be done about the stereo behavior of the Auto Wah? Loving everything else. This looks pretty much like EXACTLY what I wanted - a true stereo, serious upgrade to my Deadbeat Modulation Station.
11:21 what that settings? Sounds amazing!
Good Luck Brian !!!!......this closes out 2019 as the best pedal available .....SANTA!!!!......great job!
(Love the setting with the horn and the woffer)
Could you make version 2 turn 2 effects on at the same time, selecting/activating 2 presets (parallel on the dry)? Although I love the simplicity of the pedal!
Maybe a software update ?
Please tell me what kind of guitar this is??? I really like it…!!!!
Dude, you are a mad scientist. This sounds awesome and what a reasonable price!
This pedal is absolutely amazing. I usually dont like the multi pedals with a lot of different effects in one box, but this nails it. I can see this replacing several other pedals I have already to trim down my pedal board and make it more practical. Genius work man!
Congrats on this amazing pedal guyz!
Looks like very easy for control...I would put one on my pedalboard for sure - at the end of the chain and BOOM ... magic ;-)
My favorite pedal is the Wampler Ethereal. I run it into my Kemper Profiler and swell in my tones with a little tremelo. It sounds so good.
I own a Ethereal as well, such a wicked pedal. Would defianlty like to try this out. Cheers
Midi patch changes on the fly from my switcher?
Bet your cat is happy now you have the U-Vibe
The factory settings that come with this thing are great!! You dont have to do much messing around to get a great sound
Can this thing get into the high gain 80s chorus, CH-1 style?
Prefer the Phase 45. 90 is overbearing.
What do you think his Freudian slip was for Auto Swell? I'm guessing that he said Cock Swell or something...
Nope, I just have a mild stutter.
If this was already discussed, apologies - but is there a way to get a Boss VB-2 vibrato effect from one of the chorus algo's? Thanks!
Yep! Just turn it fully wet rather than 50/50 blend
Please tell me I can afford this
Swell….by tor the snow dog!
But what did you say instead of auto-swell!?
