Pulled the trigger on this. It was just too darned tempting. The kids won't eat for a couple of weeks, but they'll enjoy feeding on the ear candy that this pedal will provide, no doubt. They'll understand...sure they will. They're good kids....
Not eating for a few weeks builds character!
Best comment I've read in a long time. lol
And still less than a Strymon!! Fasting good for ya every so often lol!! Just make sure they're hydrated!!!
Lmao 🤘😈🤘 Nicely said ! Good looking out
On the real. How do the effects feel / sound? Any that you don’t feel are genuine?
Andys voice on pedal demos are like ASMR for gearheads.
I'm getting mine next week, and can't wait to try it! :)
Wow Andy ...!! If you have an album out with playing like you did on these pedals, I'd like to know about it and buy it . Those sounds were very pleasing to the ear .
Man, loved the Univibe/Fuzz combination! Perfect sound for Hendrix's Machine Gun!
I've been really uninspired to play for the last few weeks. I bought the Terraform last night and I am hoping it will inspire me again
I've been feeling the same way! Weird. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
All you need is some strippers and cocaine...at least that’s what gets me inspired 😁
Did it inspire your playing again?
Fantastic demo !!!!!!.........just absolutely spot on!......Brian is gonna have a beast of burden trying to keep up with assembly of these pedals!!!.....wow !!!!......thanx for a great review!!!...
Oh,, I think this is a winner for Wampler! So well thought out and usable...even the ubiquitous Envelope Filter which is usually too 'quacky' & sound all the same on most other units had a tight sound with the filter peaking quickly without dominating the guitar tone/nuance. And the Univibe & Rotating Speaker...well...if you're reading this you already heard 'em and are probably thinking 'I don't need a new amp or another guitar - I'm gonna get this!'
have the pedal and I love it, however there are a few things that is very annoying. First of all is very easy to accidentally touch the preset change button in the center when turning the pedal on and off. I would suggest that when the tap tempo button is used as preset change, the middle button should be inhibited/bypassed. I have put a cap over mine. Number two, when working on a preset the current setting of each parameter is not showing when "sweeping" the pot back and forward, this is quite common on such equipment (strymon, etc). So basically it's difficult to see what the current setting is and what is changed. Hope these two topics will be improved in future firmware updates.
Has it been addressed?
@@VSProductionTutorials yes, but no response. I do not own this pedal anymore
So *this* is what Brian's been so over-busy with, wow!
Ooh, that variable-speed rotary is almost as sexy as that tele.
After watching Brian's own demo, I'm convinced he's not charging enough. This little box is PACKED with features. Nobody has answered my only question yet:
Can you run multiple effects at once?
Autoswell + chorus, flange or phaser would make it perfect!
Its one effect at a time and is awesome :)
Just get two
If it could do that, don’t you think that someone would demo that feature?
This is the Golden Corral of pedals. No single effect is the best I’ve ever heard, but it’s all-you-can-eat
Great description

What is that blue, (semi) hollow guitar you are playing at around the 2.30 mark?
How is this any better than say a line 6 m5? I like Wampler pedals, but I can get a pedal under a $100 that'll do the same stuff. In some cases more.
None is better, i think the difference is that the Terraform has an analog signal path with digital controlling, a Line6, Mooer or whatever multi-FX you get under 100 Bucks is usually fully digital with overall cheaper components. It does the same thing but it's not the same on the inside, depends on what satisfies you more.
Wampler pedals are made in a factory in East LA and they sold me a pedal witha defective switch, they knew it was a problem and they sold it to me anyway... Im Wampler-free.
@@Zwidawurzn I agree with you. I guess I'm just confused as to why Wampler would build this pedal. Seems like a bad business choice. He could have made just the uni-vibe that people have asked for and done well. I could be wrong, but I don't see this being a big seller outside of serious Wampler fans. He put a lot of time and energy into this pedal, Hopefully it does well.
The reason is sound quality and ease of use with flexibility and a small form factor. This will be my first Wampler pedal and I am glad he chose the modulation route because the other multi-FX (delay and reverb) are pretty crowded in the market. This pedal hits a sweet spot for me with all the types of modulation I can see using and 8 presets should be plenty for that. Plus it only draws a little over 100ma which is great! Very well thought out IMO. But is it really analog with digital control? I did not know that was the case... THAT would be icing on the cake but I thought it was truly digital like other multi-mod offerings.
@@jonathanbrazee3846 all sold out on first run. Making more
Ok a long time coming but that sounds awesome. I’ve already got the strymon mobius and would really like to know how it compares to that please Andy.
Dont think your missing anything from the Mobius
I'm wondering the same thing: whether to get this or pay the extra money and get the mobius
That smirk on Andy's face at 8:55 when he kicks in the fuzz .
Hey Andy. Would be great to see a special on dynamic pedals :) Love ya demos man.
개좋아👊🏻
Insane carve on the goldtop!
Hello! Does anyone know if this pedal is ‘noisy’?
Not at all
At this point I just prelike Andy’s videos. Literally before the 10 second mark.
So… The ONLY reason I havent bought a GFI Systems Synesthesia is because it has to stereo in.. so it fcks up with my chain meaning id have have to sacrifice my JHS Emperor stereo…. Meaning Im now evaluating this vs the Mobius.
Love that little diddy at beginning of the video. Would love to hear a finished version of it.😮
Okay that envelope filter looks fun as hell
You can always tell when Andy is digging a pedal, that little grin!
Mac Demarco is gonna love this thing
He has the good stuff already.
Rayce Vaughan must mac be mentioned on every chorus/vibrato video known to man -__-
@@FaustPoon yes all the plebeians refer to him because their lives are boring
Such a great player :)
Analog dry through?
Reverend shoulda named that guitar the Chub King...so phat sounding!
Just got my MD200 last week! Still dialing it in but early impressions are VERY favorable. I play in a cover band so need a lot of the 70s and 80s 'go to' settings. So far I have excellent results for CHORUS (Lowdown, Walking on the Moon, Message in Bottle, etc.), TREM (Killer setting for Born on the Bayou), VIBE (Nice Trower-type setting, Jimi, some Pink Floyd, etc.), ROTARY (Again ... Floyd, Frampton, etc.). Just started working with the OVERTONE option--getting very close to the Digitech Mosaic 12-string effect (Stairway anyone? Byrds, Beatles, etc.) More to discover for sure with the MD200. If I would have known about the Wampler pedal I probably would have pulled the trigger on it. I ordered the MD200 back in June and Roland delayed delivery several times! So ... I'll continue in a hurry with the MD200 ... but I am looking at as many reviews as possible on the Wampler pedal. If I become 'sold' ... I'll return the Boss pedal and order the Wampler. The never-ending 'tone quest' continues!
Well how about an update?
Sorry sir I know you posted this a year ago but where are all these reviews, because I can’t find any, there’s very little info, even on the gear page
Settling for a digital multi-FX is not 'tone-questing', but keep wood-shedding and you'll find out why soon enough.
Analog dry tru?
What a great sound Andy - (1st one) .. Inspired me man ... Thanks
Gap de Marco's GOTO choice
Cant find a digital flanger I actually like I got this its not bad, the Pyramids was horrid imo
Yeah there's a reason that EQD pedal isn't doing so well. It SUCKS!
Tbh, I wasn't overly impressed with the TF. Idk, maybe I'm being unreasonable. I do use Souce Audio One Series pedals and that's all DSP and they sound great. Maybe Brian should just stick to being the "King of Dirt".
The Rotary was nice, but I can get better from my SA gear or my Tech21 Rotochoir.
Choruses sounded like...digital chorus. Fanger was meh.
Terraform, md200 or md500?
what does the tap tempo do?
Mine's on it's way. Very pedalboard & user friendly
This or the Mako M1 ?
Mako didn’t stay on my board
Andy rocks
Can you save a preset with a set tempo?
Alex Breyer yeah
Convenient
Anybody know if what’s Andy’s playing at the beginning has a name?
synthmalicious I wrote it for the demo! Thanks
AndyDemos it’s a very nice piece

Do a comparison with the MD200 and maybe the deadbeat audio modulation station
I found the Deadbeat disappointing. It’s cheap, and some have said the internals are from Coolmusic or some other factory.
@@18-tube-wattamp64 figures, its more than half the price. But still a comparison of multi modulation pedals would be nice.
I’ve read numerous times the Deadbeat line are rehoused Chinese pedals.

@@stephenlennartz3466 nice, i have both, i choose the md 200 over the terra because of the memory switch and has the overtone.
This or the boss md-200? This one's got 8 presets but md-200 has usb for firmware updates...
Kalevi Hagqvist I got impatient and bought the MD-200. I wasn't really impressed and ended up buying the Terraform.
@@joejustjoe8351 same here, found the md 200 to be kinda underwhelming
@@rubentavenier6987 Same with the MD500
A little expensive but really nice.
Expensive? If anything, it's underpriced IMO. If you think about what you get, and compare it to other companies pedals in the same "boat", it's a really good price point.
My, do I love the auto swell bit!
autowah?
Andy rules
I wonder if Wampler is getting to the digital game too late.I wish him luck, but want to see this A/B with eventide H9, Boss MD500
I love my H9 but I expect this to kill it for many modulation duties. Will see though. The new Harmadillo algo is pretty decent for trem/vibe. Looking forward to seeing how they pair.
Lots of sounds I can easily live without.
You're a lot of sounds we could all easily live without
Is this a sponsored video?
It's a reverb demo... their interest is selling stuff. Every video they put out is "sponsored" in the sense that they aren't going to talk bad about products they sell.
Yes, I understand that but I’m asking if this was a paid advertisement by this particular pedal company.
Sounded pretty "meh" to my ears.
Your life sounds pretty meh to my ears
Anyone wanna buy a Line6 MM4?
The most important modulation isn’t there: vibrato.
Bummer :(((
Chorus on full wet blend..? That's essentially vibrato.
See 3:15
It has both regular tremelo and harmonic tremelo according to the site and other demos
it has vibrato. Chorus mode with blend at 100% = Vibrato :)
kfkm2955 “TREMOLO”, maybe. Also TREMOLO is a variation of amplitude, vibrato a variation of frequency (pitch) over time.
The internet can help you.
Side jacks on a pedal that big?? why??? Instant don't buy for that reason alone and I love Wampler.
hes got midi and expression on the top as well as a pre/post switch. he can't fit all that along with stereo inputs and outputs only on the top
@@racerx3065 Bigsky is able to put it all at the top... or do it like the boss MD-200 (2/3 the size) with the midi on the side but keep the jacks at the top. Pedalboard space is crucial and a major considering factor when purchasing pedals nowadays. I know a lot of people (including myself) who try to avoid side jacks whenever possible (especially with a big box unit like this). Wampler is usually very good about having top mounted jacks on most all pedals so this came as a surprise.
Instant don’t buy because of side mounted jacks? 🤣
It could be the best pedal you ever had, but you’ll never know, because....Gasp!...top mounted jacks.😳
actually this is smaller than a MD 200, maybe with angled patch cables solves the problem
Good luck setting this pedal up for live use. Bought a MIDI device to use to help - I'm new to it. Asked Wampler for help. Was told "I need to man up" after doing HOURS of research online, and messing with both the Terraform and the other device, to no avail. Actually, the person who helped me, Terry, or Jerry, was rude from the second they answered the phone. Basically, the conversation ended with Terry or Jerry or whoever talking over me and not letting me speak until I had to hang up. I will NEVER buy another Wampler product.
Man up dude
@@UnleashDLion in what way?

I post an honest review for other professional musicians to use to determine how to spend their very hard earned money. So either you’re some consumer fanboy, or you work for Wampler, or you just wanted to tell a stupid joke at my expense, but at any rate, keep playing your video games.
