Push 1 and computer is already awesome, even with live lite !! And for having fun on the couch, ableton note is great (but the ableton move looks so fun to use!!)
@ I definitely did spend more than 80 pounds, I would say mine was closer to 100😅. It was in good condition, and coming from a mainly hardware background (mpcs) I definitely like the integration with ableton. I never used to work in session mode so this makes it a lot easier to experience that side of the software.
I’m just new to Ableton and Push 3. I’m just starting out in learning how to use Push 3 and it must be said that Im really enjoying using the unit. I’ve always used hardware in the past and loved the freedom of creating music without being tied to a computer,,but the push 3 for me,although it’s working alongside the software it still gives me the sense of freedom when using the unit that I almost forget that it is still working alongside the software and the computer which I think is great. One is only limited by one’s imagination and I’m super excited to see what I can create once I learn how to use push 3 alongside Ableton in my studio. ,,,exciting times ahead for sure!!😊
The Push1 still has the best bang for bucks ratio (closely followed by the Push2), and is still superior to any other Ableton controller out there (except the other Push models), including the Launchpads and APCs.
I agree the Push 1 is a great deal! I would say other controllers are not worse than the line of Push controllers they have pro point for different situations. Check this video where I compared them side by side - ua-cam.com/video/wEeekeRrvmA/v-deo.htmlsi=NmEUD5f695zvCzkp
@pushpatterns There's nothing any of the other controllers can do that the Push1 can't do. It can do everything they can and then some. The only small exception would be the touch faders on the NI Maschine Jam and the APC60, but then again both of these models either have no display at all (Jam) or only a very small one (APC60), and the Jam's pads don't even have velocity sensitivity. So. 🙂
I bought a Push 3 SA a few weeks ago. I am getting a refund/return for it because it runs so fucking hot it's dangerous! I am also not really impressed with limitations on performing Live as I have to add further midi controllers for mixing and effects control. It's not worth the money at the end of the day.

Push 1 is still great, I agree! And Move is awesome!
Just got the push 1 & honestly I really enjoy it. Can’t wait to dive deeper into it!

Thanks for sharing the positive experience with the Push 3. I too had a great time with the Push 3 and brought it too for similar reasons!
I got the 1 and the next month later 2 came out, I was pissed.
I feel your pain! I had just finished filming a push 2 course, and the next day, push 3 came out!
Same thing happened to me with the arturia keylab 61 lol

The do get rather hot don’t they! 🥵 I completely understand your frustration.
Push 3 should have been 899$ Ableton tripping 2,000$ for a push 2 with a couple more functions!!! Back to FL studio!
The controller version is around that price! Just the standalone version is a lot more :)
@ stop being a Ableton fanboy for a minute and stop to think 💭. Is push 3 standalone a 1,000$ much better than mpc one or maschine plus!!
Hey, no need to be rude. That’s not the what your said in your initial comment. If you asked me that question I probably would have agreed with you.
@@pushpatterns lol
