@@deankruse4491 shesh, thats up there! I see it 130-150. Its deep and complex. When i first opened it, it tasted very black cherry after that it taste like red vines to me. Delicious
I passed on a WT12 because it was $230 and I had already bought a blantons SFTB for $175. But I’m going on a trip at the end of July and if I see WT12 again I’m not passing
The idea of Octomore being findable, lol. I know it's different for everyone depending on where you're located, but in my area, it's basically Big Foot...you hear about it all the time, but you've never actually seen one.
Hey. Its me. Your Utah whiskey fan. This video crushes my heart and soul. I only have access to one of the 10 bottles you have in the video because we only have state liquor stores. Wanna guess what bottle I can get?
I love rye whiskey. I’ve never had Michter’s 10 rye. Did just pick up Black Maple Hill rye gonna crack that and see how delicious it is. I’m gonna compare it to the high west bourye I got on vacation. Good call on including Flaming Heart Dan. I have the original 2018 one I can’t wait to find 2022 or whenever the next release is. Cheers gents. 🥃
I finally found murray hill and bought it for $120, but now I see it’s not the “special release” Murray hill, which is so annoying… but I’m sure it’s still good
Good picks hard to find and most likely in the secondary market priced out of reach for many. Still good choice’s just not something I’ll be getting very soon.
Buddy poured me some Laphroag 10 last time we had a few pours. Shit smelled like you took the top off a grease tube and stuck it in an ashtray. 😖😖😖 and tasted the same. 😖 but he did say the redbreast he got for his birthday was crushable.
Just recently picked up Port Perryperry and Kelvin Collab V. Good to know its endorsed by the Matt Madness Champion, and the other guy. Ha, just kidding, #TeamSean (but secretly #TeamDan)
Kind of have a random question. I have a lot of bourbon/whiskey left over after a journey and realized I’m not a whiskey bourbon fan. I live in Georgia, anyone know how to offload it? I don’t have anything special, basic beginners stuff. Buffalo Trace, Angels Envy, Woodford Reserve, Knob creek Maple, random bottles. What do people do to get rid of this stuff besides sadly pouring it out?
Man, I've said it before but bourbon hunting in So Cal SUCKS!!!!! Recently purchased the Michters 10 Bourbon for my Bro-in-law and it set me back $400 at the only store I could find it at!!! The Rye was the same price. They do have the Michters barrel proof Rye/Bourbon for $200, but again that seems higher than what most people pay in the rest of the country. I'm definitely gonna have to retire too another state if I plan on buying and drinking the good sh!t
Murray hill is my least favorite of the joseph magnus line. It takes all the stuff that makes the other two great, and makes it lighter sweeter and brighter.
I'd love to see you guys do some reviews on Found North Whisky. I saw it come through on Stuff and Whiskey and thought you might be interested based on its ultra-aged blended components.
My personal opinion is no. I bought mine for $115 and I do like it. I don't think it's bad at all. But I think it should be more of a $70-$80 bottle than $115. I've never had that special release one Sean showed in the vid so I don't know if that differs or not.
What is both of yours favorite easy to find everyday bourbons and what is your guys favorite bourbon that’s difficult to find and what’s just your overall favorite bourbon ever?
The new Bourye was not good this year. I loved all the bourye from 16 to 19 but this new one is not good, especially at 40 dollars more than the last release.
Several of the previous releases were all MGP. This blend has heaven hill, their distillate and MGP and it's significantly better than the last handful of Boureye's, it's not even close.
I think the calumet 16 is a heavy hitter and pretty easy to find for another bottle over 100
200 bucks at my local liquor store.

It's ALL over MI
Most of the ones I've found have also been in MI, and it isn't hard to find there.
I see a road trip in my future, lol.
I saw three different octomores at the gas station yesterday.
Opened the flaming heart and then immediately bought a backup! First sip and you know how special it is
Mitchers 10yr rye is the cat's MEOW!
Agreed, just wish it wasn't $160 😂
Just wish I could actually FIND ONE. 🫤
I have 2 and not impressed at all 10 year bourbon much better
@@hyseptu1733 I've seen one in 10 years, and they wanted $300. Hard pass, and impossible to find.
1. Busch Light Peach, boom, next question.
Crown peach
Yak
Love that about you
Drinking one now! Couldn't agree more in this heat!
Kentucky owl batch 11 is one of my favorites I own
Agree 100% on M10. Best whiskey I’ve personally had. And agree 100% it tastes like a Bourye.
What bag is that? Looks awesome and in need of a travel bag for tastings
That's our bottle share bag we designed! It's up on our site and we're restocking more soon as well!
Buying the Bourye today (I'm that guy that lives in Utah)! Can't wait to try it. At $125 I hope Dan isn't BSing me 🙏
I’m jealous ! I’m visiting in September and hoping they’ll have something good when I get there 😂
wish the state liquor stores had a bigger bourbon selection
@@murphy0142 agreed, there's sooooo many common bourbons they don't have
@@Chipmunkog805 The selection is limited but what they do have is guaranteed at retail so that's one benefit.
Fellow utah guy. I love the Bourye. Get it
The only one of these I have is the Woodford Batchproof. I’m currently enjoying the 2023 release
Bourbon Outfitters? Pure genius whoever decided to register that DBA.
I see the standard Murray Hill for around 120, been interested, but I see yours is a Special Release, guessing there’s a big difference?
There's a pretty significant different but we do like both quite a bit!

I've heard them mention "matt madness" a bunch of times and it sounds cool but i can never find any of the videos??
Go to ADHD whiskey live streams!
I'm hearing a ton of good things about Found North as well.
My store in northwest Indiana has 3 bottles left of this years woodford
Dumb question, whiskey row in Louisville, you talking downtown on Main? I’ve been to Old Forester, Evan Williams, Angels Envy, but that’s it. Thx
Just bought a bottle of the WT 12 for 6550円 (~$46), planning on bringing plenty back to the States with me on my next visit.

Cool story, bro. Stuff (outside of Four Gate) that I can't find in Florida.
How's the regular Murray Hill? It's pretty easy to find around me. I've never seen a cigar blend.

Bravo coming out strong with the Blackwood right off the rip! (Insert chef's kiss here)
Where can I find the wild turkey 12 for 150 bucks? Is it online somewhere?
It's a travel exclusive as far as I know.
*whispering* maybe booker’s at 100 ain’t such a bad deal anymore what with bourbon quality going down and prices going up
Can you review the Eleanor?
That cup flip in the beginning was actually pretty hard
So where do i get that bag?
Fabulous choices! Love the scotch choices!! Cheers!! :-)

Have you guys had that Compass Box Rogue's Banquet? On sale near me, really thinking about it.
Yeah it's good but not anywhere near one of my favorite compass box releases
Good to know. Still a hefty price, appreciate the heads up.
In Florida? We're still getting Disco 7 as a "new" find.

Old Carter didn’t make the list ??? Batch 10 rye is 🔥🔥🔥
We don't have any new ones as they're getting harder to get but holy shit the batch 9/10 American were absolutely incredible!

way to many great bottles 80 and under to worry bout that stuff. and readily available
