Im gonna say right after Zach goes to Cleetus and Cars and opens that door for the crew. Maybe if Greg goes to a Cleetus and Cars event and shows out on a massive burnout like he always does.
@@builtbyme can’t believe i f forgot about Zach, but yeah he needs to make an appearance aswell and figure out how to make the dodge last in Lacey’s hands haha
i have a GREAT contact that will make you the harnesses for you heated and cooled seats, as well as steering wheel and back camera functions. you will not have to tear that truck back up fully to make all the functions work. looks like OEM wiring too. let me know if you want the contact. i did a full laramie longhorn swap in my tradesman.
Thank god for Greg and this video! Lol. Been looking for a video like this forever since I got my 16'Cummings. Thanks dude. Keep up the great helpful videos brother 👍🏻
Looks great and definitely a lot of work. I just want to add a power seat to my express 1500. I'd like to see what you actually had to do to get the power seat working?
So I currently have a 2014 ram 6.7 with 600k miles. Currently putting black Laramie interior in it. Can’t wait to figure out to get the heated seats working.
Just did a heater/ evaporator core on a 4th gen, lotta work, both front seats had to come out to get the dash out. N I broke that pedal switch immediately when I installed it, dumb idea!
Soooooo, what are your plans with the other Laramie seats you have? I REALLY need the driver’s side seat. My ‘14 Laramie has 160k miles so mine is a little worn out. I can find the bottom replacement easily but the back is pretty much non-existent other than ordering from the dealer.
How did you get the airbag light off and the seat belt to connect?. Mine has the airbag lights on now and says the seat belt isn’t buckled. I went from basic tradesman’s seat to big horn seats with heated seats
What did you have to do to get the seat motors to work, was it plug and play or did you have to do extra wiring? I have a 14 tradesman and want to swap in power seats then have them upholstered by katzkin, and have them add heat/ac so I'm not worried about factory settings, other than factory power.
good video friend my question is!! How did you manage to get your seats heated? Did you change the modules or the harnesses? If you could help me with that I would appreciate it.
Taking out nuts and bolts is not reverse engineering, it’s (dis)assemble. Populate?? That’s a computer term. You sure are a chatter box, but I like your truck. Luckily I already have a Laramie. It was cool to see how things come apart..sorta
Did you have to do anything in alfa to make the driver power seats work?? My drive seat doesn't work except for the lumbar... idk if it causes of the memory feature thats off or what ??
I have a 15 big horn, do you know if that 3rd brake light is just plug and play for mine? Since the 8.4 was factory on my truck. I just cant really see the factory adding certain harness’s to certain upper trim level trucks. Obviously a tradesman is a diff story. But im hoping a bighorn/laramie would have the exact same interior harness’s
Looking good, Greg. I'd be willing to buy those black stock wheels that are on that truck for a good price. I just bought a 2016 Megacab a couple months ago and I really would not like to run the 22x12's that are on the truck in the salt this winter.
@@nate.hanlon I'm a little south of DeKalb, IL which is about 60 miles west of Chicago give or take. What size are they and do they have tires mounted?
I didn't watch the whole transformation entirely. Is there a place where you mention the total cost of the swap? Or compared it to what you would have paid for a Laramie?
might as well have been a vlog. we weren't shown much on how things come apart or go back together. you could have just talked about what you were trying to accomplish, maybe showing a couple parts, like the brake switch, and just kept talking about whatever.
When is cleetus going to invite you and Michael to an event to drive??

Greg you also should’ve gotten a 2018+ 8.4 with CarPlay. Also you can swap the top part of the console to a 2016+ tray with the phone holder
The apple car play version require additional plugs? My 2017 doesn’t have it

I'm planning to do a Laramie swap on my 22 big horn, do they do 5th gen wire harnesses?
I’m interested if you could send me your contact
Would you mind letting me know because I’m in the process of the swap.
How can I get in contact with you I’m in the middle of this swap currently

Looks amazing! Awesome work Greg!!
I’m running the Thuren 2” coils and overland shocks (when they used to sell them) on my 19 Cummins and love it.

How did you get that passenger side power seat to work? Is the wiring under the seat plug n play? Just no evac in the seats

Will that 3rd break light work on a 2020 ram 2500?

Very appreciative of the videos, great work!
Are the seats plug and play? Are the harnesses there in a 2021 Tradesman?
Have you done the rear heated seats yet?
How did you get the power seats to work?
What did you have to do to make the power seats work
Greg! I need you to sell pants to complete my wardrobe! ..... Also when are you installing push to start?
What you doing with the rest of those seats and center console you have?
will the power seat plug receptacles be in a BIG HORN to put power seats in ? or will I need to have the two seat harnesses made ?
Where did you find all the parts?
He said his local junk/used place that parts trucks out

Wow, what a job 👍👍
How much did all this cost?
Is this something you do on the side too?
Did you get all the stuff for this swap at a salvage yard?

My 14 limited doesn’t display my tailgate camera on the screen but up on the mirror and I HATE IT😭😂
They make a harness to have it show on the screen. Lemme guess you have a cargo cam?

Laramie interior swap the shorty🤓👌
How much did this cost
I would take the front seats and console that your not going to use
So iam just curiuos what this cost.
Can you do a 2010 Ram interior to a Laramie 2015-2018?
Electronics no but hard interior parts yes
Why does the tachometer go to 7k rpm??
It's out of a gas truck. Much earlier video, but it's in the list somewhere.

I wish he’d swap my interior 😂😂

For the cost of a laramie interior, better off just buying a laramie lol
$70.00 CAD for a T-shirt? No thanks!!
LMAO!!
