He Learned and got some pointers from the man in black his self before he passed away the movie was in the works and Joaquin was doing research to do a great job what better research is there then talking to Johnny his self.

    2 country Legends: Johnny Cash, with his lead guitarist the one and only Luther Perkins

  • @PGComet
    @PGComet 8 років тому +15

    He was sincere, He really tried to walk the line. Look at his eyes like looking up to heaven! But things in the material world are very hard. So like the Apostles he failed but like them not always. Look at the way he played the guitar. That's what made that amazing train sound and made him famous. He was extremely talented but he didn't even know or acknowledge it. But people can sense it, that's why they bought his records.

    Joaquin Phoenix was perfectly cast to play him in the movie. When I watch him play Johny it's like watching the real Johny. He was so believable in the role and his singing was awesome. I cant believe he was cheated from winning the Oscar that year. Reese was very good and won the oscar but Joaquin deserved it too

      If he'd had a better life?
      You mean easer. If his life had been easer he wouldn't have been Johnny Cash. He had a really bad rough patch. And his upbringing was hard. But that's what built the carrector of the man who learned how important it was to walk that line. We have so many people today who have gone bat spit crazy. People who till collage had someone handhold them through every little hard time that came along. Now they have no moral compass. Maybe falling down a few times when you're young is what it takes to keep from falling apart when you're older.

    Amaing deep voice at 23yrs of age...Can you imagine in high school answering a question that the male teacher posed, and Johnny speaks up and his voice is deeper than the teachers.

    This was before he went all black. Nice footage. Still in the Elvis wanna be phase. God Bless, love the music.

    23 years old and a star. At 23 I was and still am a loser working part time at a grocery store. Thumbs up for a musical inspiration!
