It takes hours for an upgrade, for some reason the upgrade process writes to the memory card at 600-800kb/s and a 2Gb upgrade should at that speed take about 40-45min. Removing the SD-card from the unit and trying to write to it directly from my computer via an SD-card reader in the same USB-port as the unit bumps the speed to 30-45Mb/s.
You guys need to improve the upgrade tool since this feels like something out of the 90's.

MB V1.0 used on a European E class W210, E200 petrol car does not work with most modules. It reports link error for all except four modules (ABS, MCM, SRS and IC) with the latest firmware. Sent LOG file to icarsoft and was told it is software issue and come back soon months ago but so far no luck.

Tried the iCarSoft EU Pro with the iCarsoft 38-pins adapter on a 1997 SLK R170, absolutely nothing happens! Same thing when you email [e-mail], zero reply! (waiting for 6 weeks now...)

I have I car soft v2 and on slk r170 it only allows 16 pin option despite buying 38 pin from icarsoft no 38 pin option is available to select on unit and 16 pin doesn't work as tried. So annoying. 1998 slk230

@@wdbdb382 Thank god I looked at this useless video, I have a SLK 230 and nearly bought a icarsoft scanner, I alreadybought a 38pin adapter 50euro which I can throw away
A much heard complaint about iCarsoft is the very bad support
Please let me know if your problem has been solved
I just bought a XTOOL scanner 400euro with every adapter you could need, for multi cars That can scan way more then these scanners of icarsoft, Yes only 3 years update, but that is only important if you have a garage shop, not for just your 1 car
