My grandpa is Finnish and that pronunciation of Sauna hurt!😣
I'm pretty sure that we say it the exact same way in Finnish and German. But in English they don't have that "au" sound, so they make an "o" sound instead😅

Clothes in the Sauna are indeed very offensive in Germany... Such a culture shock for an American where nakedness (anywhere really) is pretty much seen as worse/ more offensive than violence.

Just bring a towel, you gonna need it anyway to sit on and it covers you up nicely when you go in and get out
Did you know there's nude beaches in America? And sauna's where you take your cloths off. Culture shock isn't really a thing in America, considering the US is made of ALL cultures.

@@1972Ray That's true and different parts of the US are probably way more liberal towards nudity than others.
I live in the US, coming from Europe. I definitely see more judgement towards nudity when it comes to showing it in books/ media, but I can't really say how it's handled everywhere in the US in daily life. You're right, the US is full of different cultures and probably very different perspectives on this. I was just writing this from the perspective of my own personal experiences/ perception here in the US so far.

Hey! I'm thinking about moving to Berlin after I graduate from H.S next year, but I'm a bit unsure about my USA visa. I'm not sure if it will still be valid in Berlin. It's a bit overwhelming, especially since I don't have any family or connections there. It's a whole new place for me, and I could really use some help figuring out the visa requirements. I want to make sure I have everything sorted out. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
