Thanks so much for all your work and effort to get me up and riding again mate!! Pretty embarrassing how obvious my lack of maintenance (or cleaning) is!
Hey man cool bike, i notice this is the 98-99 model. I have the same one but im looking to upgrade my exhaust pipe. Do you know what pipe you have on yours or are planning on getting. Mine stock pipe is all bent an got cracks in it. Best regards and good luck.
I have a KTM 200 two stroke and I damage the transmission this weekend. Toward the end of having a great day out in the woods the transmission is now making grinding. Sounds. Is it worth fixing or should I part out bike?
If you are fixing it all yourself and not paying for labour and you can get a second hand engine/gearset, it might be worth it. But if you are just taking it to a shop, probably not!
I have a 2000 KTM 200 MXC I got for my graduation gift I blew my cylinder and I’m at Hawaii and can’t find anyone that could ship me a cylinder down here…have any idea pls lmk asap will love to have the bike up and running again
That's no good at all. I would assume you would have to get something shipped from the mainland US and failing that, you would have to get your cylinder repaired and re-nikosil coated.
Yeah, I would have too if it was my bike, but not my call. Thankfully the bike has been going strong now for a number of rides. But time will tell I guess.

It's been my pleasure! Like you say, it's a dirt bike! It's meant to be dirty. Just ride it until it breaks then fix and ride again! :)

Yeah, I think it's a 99 model. I think this bike has a Pro-Taper pipe from memory. Thanks for watching.
