Always a great time to be outdoors with a buddy. Like the idea of feeding the animals after the season is over. Just our way to build the herd. Great content as usually. Keep them coming.
Yessir! Some needs to get knocked back but there is a lot of great sanctuary habitat. Those deer are eating like crazy; almost time for a refill. Thanks for watching!
That buck bourbon has to go in a feeder. I put some on the ground and the pellets got swollen up and not eaten. The Big Tine blocks last 2 days in Ohio.👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
You are correct in that is does do better in a gravity feeder. I’ll pour some on the ground for inventory or to let the deer know that the feeders are back out and the buffet is open! Lol. May not do much; just always done it. And the big tine blocks were a huge hit! Deer loved them and hit em hard! Good luck this season brother! 👍🏼👊🏼
@@jerealscottii We feed year round but sometimes they will eat a lot more than usual. Really like to get the feed out when we are done hunting and it’s legal. Ideally when the does are bred you want the fawns to get the absolute best nutrition possible.
@@jerealscottii Oh, and to answer your question we feed buck bourbon, big n j, treeline and big tine feed. All are good products and the deer will crush it. Try to find something with mineral and protein in the blend.
Ahhhh. I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed I guess. Lol. Are the peanuts shelled? There is a new blend I am looking at that has peanuts too. Crazy how things change year to year. Hoping this ice doesn’t set us back!
@@JoeTheFarmer No unfortunately I live in South Carolina but come to Gatlinburg about 5 or 6 times a year. Maybe when I retire I can relocate to Tennessee.
Love Gatlinburg. East Tennessee is one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Not as mountainous where we are, just very hilly. When you retire we’d love to have ya!

Thanks for watching Tom. 💯 agree that it feels good to give back to the herd after the season. Appreciate you friend.
Such a nice looking property. And Billy Squire is a nice looking buck.....tall!
Thanks buddy! Not sure where Scott came up with a Billy Squire buck..but why not! Lol
Looks like they like the products you put out. We sure had nice weather for January and finally the rain we needed. 👍🇺🇸
Yessir! Almost time to fill em up again! Hopefully we avoid the ice storm. I really don’t want to go through that again. Lol. Hope you are doing well!
Looks like you have some nice woody regen around there too.

Be careful you feed them, then fall in love with them😅
💯 correct!
Would the Buck Bourbon work in East Texas also?
Absolutely. Used a lot in TX and KY also. Works great! Thanks for watching brother. 👊🏼
@@JoeTheFarmer awesome!! Thank you!! Do you use the same feed year round or do you stop at a certain time and just use corn?
