  • When we sell a tractor, we always do a "walk around" with each tractor. We do this to let customers know where to perform daily checks, grease, and basic operation techniques. This series of videos is intended to refresh that information for our customers. Several more of this type of video is posted on our channel. Look for your model and check it out. We hope this helps owners have more knowledge about their tractor. Please make sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to see all our new videos as they come out. Thanks!

    Just met this guy at the ls dealer show and can't tell you one bad thing. Very informable and super nice guy. If you are looking for a ls tractor and live in or around his area. You will not regret it

    Great walk through. I bought a 357 last winter and my dealer wasn’t quite as thorough. I like to watch these videos to keep my memory fresh and this did not disappoint. Great job!

      How do you like it so far? I have a kubota 30 horse but need a bigger machine. Looking at the ls357.

      @@cjones1262 as a dealer, we really like them. We see all kinds of uses and users. Just like any other toll, they have correct usage and maintenance practices. Not all users follow those recommended practices. We also have seen failures not caused by users. At the end of the day, it's still a machine. All brands of tractors and all machines will eventually need repair. What I like the best is how LS takes care of us as dealers for us to better take care of customers. LS has been great. We have sold them since 2013 or so.

    LS has done a tidy job the way they’ve routed the hydraulic lines and quick couplers on the right side of the tractor. Less chance of getting it torn off if you’re working in the bush, doing some grapple work, etc. I really like this unit, and you gave a great presentation. Thank you for your time and effort, you’re probably a decent guy to strike a deal with.

      Thanks! We would be happy to help of you'd like. I do always recommend to buy from your closest and best dealer to your location. You are correct about the hydraulic line locations. LS does a fantastic job. We are one of the happiest LS dealers in the country. Make sure to subscribe to our channel. We are not monetized but it helps us get out there! Thanks, Chris Murphy

    Awesome walk around. Probably one of the most informative videos I've watched of any tractor brand. Such detail on what each button, or lever does. Tractors sure have come along ways since I last ran one back in the 80's. Looking at buying a new tractor for our farm and having been checking out all the different brands. Look forward to more great videos. To bad your not in my area.

    I've just started my research for purchasing a new tractor. I have a JD 4115 but need another with more horse power and versatility. I am including an LS MT in my research. Your video was extraordinarily informative. You have answered many of my questions. Keep up the good work. Too bad I live so far from you - Montana with all deer, elk, and bear - Oh My!

    Would like to see a video on how to remove the front end loader off the MT3 series and putting it back on. There are a couple on UA-cam, but they don’t show how the bucket is being moved during the process. A detailed video explanation would be much appreciated. Thanks and enjoy your videos. Wish you were in my area.

      I will try and work on a video showing how to remove and reinstall the loaders. My best advice is to start on FLAT, FIRM, LEVEL ground. Makes things much easier. Thanks for the input!

    Any advice on the proper way to use the speed and the range gears? Great video!

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  7 місяців тому

      Make sure that when you clutch, depress the pedal ALL THE WAY BEFORE you shift anything. Next only shift the range when tractor is NOT moving. The RANGE is not synchronized. The MT3 series SPEED transmission is synchronized. You can shift the SPEED transmission while moving, BUT depress the clutch completely BEFORE you begin to shift. Hope that helps. Thanks

    What is the top speed of the mt357 hydro in medium range. I’m wondering if it will work good for raking/tedding hay. I don’t want to have to shift between high and medium. Would prefer just leave in medium the entire time.

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  4 місяці тому

      I don't know. You might find that on the spec sheet listed on the online brochure. However, your speed would have to vary depending on load and terrain. Also, I'd be concerned with any tractor that size for raking due to ground clearance. I'd think you'd drag a lot of hay when crossing windrows??? Find that speed spec at lstractorusa.com

    Does the MT3 have mid PTO? If so can you equip with a mid mount mower and front mount snow blower? Thanks!

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  5 місяців тому

      LS does now show a dealer installed kit for the mid PTO. I do not see a mid-mount mower available at this time. There is a LS snow blower available to fit the LL4106 loader. However, we are in Mississippi and I have never laid hands on a snow blower. I certainly suggest to reach out to your local LS dealer in your area for more information. They probably deal with snow removal if you do. Thanks

    Any advise on opening the hood? I pushed the button, hears a click, and… nothing. It still feels locked in place

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  5 місяців тому

      I have seen hoods that get out of adjustment. We can usually open them up by holding pressure on the button with right hand and bumping on top of the hood emblem with left hand. Just a straight down bump. They usually open then. You need to look at any adjustment required before you close the hood. Most times just a little penetrating oil on the latch and cable will help tremendously.

    Who makes ls tractors, and who makes there engines? I’d like some more info on the mt342 thanks!

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  10 місяців тому +1

      LS is the actual manufacturer. They have produced tractors for other brands sold in the USA since 1977. We have been dealer for them since 2012. I have been VERY pleased to represent a company that treats us as a partner! The engine on the MT3 is a LS engine. Please call for more details. Thanks, Chris Murphy

    Have you ever put a rifle mount in the cab of an mt347? Or know of one?

    • @MurphyBrothersTradingCo
      @MurphyBrothersTradingCo  Місяць тому +1

      Sorry, I have not. I have a MT573CPS. It has a little more room behind the seat. I usually let my beat up AR lay behind the seat. HOWEVER, make sure it doesn't bounce into the glass! I have seen some rifle mount that mounted with suction cups to the glass. I cannot remember where I saw them. Wish I could help more.
      Thanks for reaching out! Chris
