I wanna give a big thanks to Athens Lawn And Garden for setting Brax Up with a awesome mower give them a call at 4237459296 they are great people to work with!!
Brax needs a side by side with a hitch to pull that trailer just put a farm triangle on it and roll out! You know in Tennessee They let you drive them things on the road Timmy lol 😂 awesome job y’all keep plugging!
Tim, PLEASE instill in Brax and anybody for that matter to keep grass clippings out of the road way. PLEASE. I dont even ride but I have friends that do and you never know what can happen, its a very hard thing to shake when you feel responsible for a death. It can drive you to a grave whether your legally responsible or not. He needs a good back pack blower.
I was going to say this gives me a glimmer of hope for parents. Cutting grass seems basic but it can be dangerous if not careful. It's great to see responsibility bestowed upon this young man
Shoutout to that dealership owner. Explaining everything and talking directly to Braxton instead of explaining it to dad. I remember going to dealerships around 16 with my dad to buy my own car with my own money. Even though my dad told them I was the one buying the car and its my money, they still explained everything to my dad instead of communicating directly to me. Great to see the confidence and freedom given to that young man.
I expect this mower will last several seasons with decent care. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend Also, I ran across the problem with it not starting the 2nd time I used it. There is a safety switch which is pushed in by the chute or mulching piece being attached to the deck. I took the cover off and it wouldn't start. Put it back on, no problem. It takes only a minute with 2 easily accessible wingnuts and no tools. This mower starts up first crank each time and it is a joy to use. It also mows in reverse by putting the key to the reverse area after starting and pushing in the triangular button. It will stay in reverse mode until you turn it off. All in all, for my homeowner needs, I really like this mower-and at 70 bucks a cut here in Miami, it's already more than 1/3 paid for itself in a month.
Yeah times have changed for sure. Mowed 2 acres with a push mower took about all day back in the 80’s and going over the septic tank lines would make you loose your religion !!!

No, this is what’s wrong, these kids are given everything. I had a 12yo buy a used stand on mower with cash he saved from mowing yards, and even paid his moms gas to come pick it up.
If the things being handed to them are work tools and the only way to use them is to work then it makes me feel like this narrative about poor people having to toil to work their way up is just propaganda so there's less competition for the kids whose families don't buy that bootstraps bullshit.

Always glad to see you and Braxton doing business together he's going to be a real hustler😂 you are raising him in a way he'll always be thankful you and your wife are doing amazing job as parents you are blessed
Great job daddy and mommy. You have allowed your 10 yr old to acquire confidence which has released his thirst for knowledge. He'll be able to retire by 45 if he keeps this up if he doesn't burn out. He can be a kid playing while earning money. 😮❤😊
Brax, you are blessed to have parents such as yours. If every parent was involved as your Mom and Dad are with your day to day endeavors, life going foward would be great.
hour meter tripped three times and had 1200 on it . when it trips at 2000 it goes back to zeromy last use or trying to use when i turned blades on the deck spindles raised and i knew i was done. have a good one but the cub with sterring wheel would have lasted you as long if not longer, however i lover the springs suspension on the ferris , may have made the change myself! Cub rider would cut that field first cut no problem good luck and goad he got a good riding mower either way!
Man that’s what it’s all about I started helping my dad in the log woods when I was 12. Learning how to work at a young age is one of the greatest learnings that I was taught.
Mom and dad, you're raising a good young man and teaching him the way to a successful life you should be thankful for him! Now it's up to him the sky is the limit!
Just wanted to say that your boy at 10 years old seems very responsible and respectful. Ive seen 20 year olds that have no clue with anything machinery related. Great job teaching him work ethic, thats something thats instilled in a kid at a young age and youre doing a great!
my son is tring to start his own mowing business and we have a 72 inch john deer zero turn but were saving for a trailer that has a ramp and this is his dream to start his own busness for 5-6 years and im super proud of him and i think he is going to be a pro at mowing at mowing and you're son looks like he loves that mower and hi is going to be a pro at mowing like my dad told me this(never give up on your dreams)
This is super wholesome. You're wise as a father to invest in your children like this. Even if he decides later in life he wants to do something else, he is gaining the principles he needs for success right now.
Way to go Braxton 👍. You are a go getter for a 10 year old, give your dad a pat on the back and your mom a hug and say thank you for raising such a mature young kid. You are very blessed and lucky to have such good parents. As always stay safe in life and adventure.
Tim you and your wife have raised a great young man and he's going to make you very proud and I'm sure all your children will do the same as Brax since he's setting the example of if you want it work hard to achieve it
@@veronicabenton7295 It has nothing to do with Ken and Barbie sizes and it's amazing what the young guy is doing working like he is. I posted to a different comment that hopefully his parents are letting him be a kid and run around and not just pushing him to sit on a lawn mower the entire day. At his age he needs exercise too and it's the parents responsibility to help ensure that happens. So many parents nowadays let the kids entertain themselves with just games so the result of that is an explosion in diabetes amongst our youth! I truly don't want to see that happen to this good kid or any other youngster for that matter. The way that young man is working he won't have to worry about being bullied because he will have the best of everything and other kids will probably envy him more than bully him. I realize it's a fine line of making fun of someone and truly caring about their health. If his father or mother were large people I would just chalk it up as genetics and then there isn't a lot a person can do about that.
If you are being honest i think you decided on the farris before you ever got there and you did all you could to convince your son to get the one you wanted. I don't blame you one bit. i do however think the bobcat fit your son better but hay he is young and growing and that farris will last for years. i have a 60in BadBoy that i have had for 16 years and it still mows like the day i bought it. I'm happy for your son, you seem like a great dad and looks like you have instilled a great work ethic in him. He has a bright future!
There exists a father son moment the kid will never forget. If mom’s and dad’s don’t teach work ethic and giving a handshake and your word, still means something, no better time to learn.
Tim, you have a wonderful , loving family, it warms my heart to watch you and your boys working on stuff together. Those memories your kids will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your life with us, it shows that America is great, and will always be great!!!
Good for him. I'm glad to see that he is not held down by this rotten system and it's taxes, bills and greed. Capitalism is a total sham. It only works for those who are pre selected for success.
That's a real Dad Right there Teaching his Son nice and young how to provide for himself and his family ,, My favorite part was the 90$ dollars shake on it we got a deal buddy, daddy's gonna help you price your next yard though lol
2019 ferris 2100 here..Underside of mower deck completely plugs up with grass after about 4-5 acres and it has to be all scraped off in order to mow anymore!..packs solid under there!..Its a total pain!..Rear suspension will squat backing up scalping the grass..Suspension causes front casters to bind up in some situations..Front caster pivots had absolutely no grease in them brand new mower, and preload on the bearing nuts were way too tight and casters would hardly turn.. had to remove them to grease correctly and took almost a full tube of grease..Rear tires tear up the grass when turning almost no matter how hard you try to turn easy..i finally had to just give up worrying about tearing up the grass...high back seats are worthless because the machine still rides so rough you have to lean forward so all the shock of rough yards dont transfer into you back...roll bar is way too high up even when collapsed and will catch tree branches and guy wires on power poles..i had to remove mine because i couldn't get close enough around trees..deck height foot lift pedal is too hard to push with a messed up knee and i would think it would be too hard for a lot of women...machine eats gasoline like its going out of style...machine engine and blades are so loud even with the best ear protection it still is too loud..I came from a diesel that was so quiet and could mow my yard all summer with about 15 gallons of fuel, the ferris eats thru like 30-40 gallons of gasoline!
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole video...Especially the family life around the garage, with the kids and the dogs even getting into the act. Never ever take life to seriously where you don't have time to help the kids...scratch the dogs.... and pat the mrs on the behind every once in a while, because that's why we work and that is what life is all about and it's those memories that we will eventually take with us one glorious day when our job here is finished! You rock! Take care for now! J Pol.
This is an excellent video showing kids wanting to make a difference in their lives, instead of getting things handed to them. I started working for my grandparents landscaping business when I told them I wanted to be successful in life by working early. They worked me hard, taught me about the business and the value of a dollar. Major props to you Brax, and what you’ve accomplished and achieved at such a young age. Sweet mower. How do you like it so far? Any issues with it? Great videos. Keep mowing video’s coming.
I've bought several mowers from Athens Lawn And Garden over the years. Very good place to deal with and the staff goes the extra mile to help you if needed
Listening to how they both are excited about the lawn mower is amazing. I wished I had a dad like this growing up. Thank goddness for my mom, though. She raised a good man if I do say so myself.
You said he's got him a trailer and a little mini truck to pull it around with ? How old is Brax ?? I was thinking he had a few more years to go before he could tear out and head up the road by himself. I'm sure he's perfectly capable, I just didn't think he was quite that old yet.
Big props for dad for teaching his kid the right way to do things in life…. If you want something son, you gotta work for it. Reminds me when I was nine years old with my first paper route 1979. I walked into Sears with my mother and bought my first 13 inch black-and-white television so I can watch the New York Yankees in my bedroom by myself. The cashier died and said he’s paying for. In cash by the way, it was almost $60 which was a lot back then needless to say she got paid in singles and change ….I wanna give a big shout out to the kid for spending his money and doing what he loves and knowing the value and how important it is to work hard for what you want.
He’s got a team of parents setting him up for success I’d have no problem financially supporting my kids businesses when they’re are starting out. And 10 years old? Hell yes
Well mju77 all is not always as it appears. Its a lot easier when you have go fund me funds good people sent their hard earned money to for a "accidental" shop fire. Time will tell when this mower ends up with dad.
Wow give that young man a huge huge hug for me I've never in my 45 years of life witness such a beautiful person enjoy trying and buying his own zero turn mower absolutely melted my heart I need your trick to get my boys outside let alone running a mower
You did that yourself! You put that screen in their face theircwhole lives and never gave them the attention they needed and now they're nonsocial can't even hold a conversation or have real friends! I guess you don't know you're the parent and can take the games away and make them go outside to play! But you don't know how to let a kid be a kid
y'all are makin my OCD kick in.. having worked on a golf course for years.. STOP mowing with the discharge goin towards un mowed grass.. and when you turn around don't spin around turn in the shape of a light bulb.. gradually Right, Long sweep left, then right onto the track you're about to mow.. .. Sorry I couldn't help myself.. Congratulations Braxton..

Daddy buys is perpetually 10 year old son yet another toy. Fixed the title. Just had that fire, which we still have never been given a cause, constant whining about going under, but hey, spend 20k on a mower. Next video he’ll be crying about how tough it is and they just don’t have the money. 20k woulda gone a long ways to fixing all the broken crap on his trucks. He’s been ten for how many years now? How about teaching him safety…like using seat belts and the ROPS? How about not blowing grass into the road? Maybe slowing down so it cuts better. Nah…all about clickbait and views. Ignoring his other kids and when the hell doss this “10 year old” go to school? Beyond that, he puts all this crap on UA-cam. I’m surprised Tennessee dept of labor hasn’t shown up. Or osha watching a minor run a crane for the business with no operator license and I’m guessing no current inspection on the crane.
@@teddbear7075 do you understand in a couple months a worn out piece of crap truck can make double whats its worth. i know from experience. my company pays a vac crew company around 300k every month for 1 crew of 4 guys and a truck to work maybe 3 days out of the week for 8 hour days and they might burn 150 gallons of fuel in a week at 3.80 a gallon. if you get the right contracts then you can make your money back really quick. also take a second and think about it. if we pay them that much and a new truck cost about 400k then every year they could buy 6 to 7 trucks. realize how much these trucks are actually making because right now they are paying premiums for trucks to haul because there is a huge shortage. we used to get 1000 semis per day of corn. now we are lucky to get 600 because no one wants to drive anymore.

Oh yea we are in the United States and I thought we have child labor laws? I guess not since none you gullible goofballs believe everything on the internet
What a great mower that Ferris is. Comfort and power. Good luck with your lawn care business young man.
Congrats on the new mower Braxton! It's pretty cool with suspension. The safety tips were good, stay safe!
Great job showing and telling, and great pick on the lawnmower the ferries. Long time no watching y’all been busy hard at it see ya soon I hope, I wood like to pick me a lawnmower like that one maybe I just looking right now. So maybe come look yours sometime good video and well see ya next time see ya bye, PS have a great day
Way to go Brax 10 year old mowing with zero turn that is one sweet Ride and for your abilities of loading unloading moving trucks around and most of all being there for your dad and grandpa Your the man Brax keep up the good work ethic and to you Tim you got to be one proud dad as you should be so when you going to hook Brax up with a helmet camera for his own you tube channel ?
Totally awesome! Grew up on a farm working side by side with my pops everyday. Best days of my life!
Always glad to see you and Braxton doing business together he's going to be a real hustler😂 you are raising him in a way he'll always be thankful you and your wife are doing amazing job as parents you are blessed
they should teach him about " NUTRITION " That Fat little kid will need heavy-duty Springs in that lawn mower.
Chad is a good friend of mine from High School...Glad he got a good mower!!!
It sounds like you found the right person to deal with your son and you for a mower your son needs, thank you Jesus.
I have to say that I truly enjoyed watching your family interactions.
Mean while he blows grass in the road...........
Congratulations Braxton ! Best of luck with your new business venture! You'll do great !
Yea because he ain't even old enough to get insurance for his business and he ain't old enough to own a business! You people are looney!
my son is tring to start his own mowing business and we have a 72 inch john deer zero turn but were saving for a trailer that has a ramp and this is his dream to start his own busness for 5-6 years and im super proud of him and i think he is going to be a pro at mowing at mowing and you're son looks like he loves that mower and hi is going to be a pro at mowing like my dad told me this(never give up on your dreams)
This is super wholesome. You're wise as a father to invest in your children like this. Even if he decides later in life he wants to do something else, he is gaining the principles he needs for success right now.
This is great man. Really enjoy seeing such a responsible kid. You raised him well.
You go, Dad. Teach these kids to work and the only debt worth doing is equipment that pays for itself. ❤🎉😊
Way to go Braxton 👍. You are a go getter for a 10 year old, give your dad a pat on the back and your mom a hug and say thank you for raising such a mature young kid. You are very blessed and lucky to have such good parents. As always stay safe in life and adventure.
Tim you and your wife have raised a great young man and he's going to make you very proud and I'm sure all your children will do the same as Brax since he's setting the example of if you want it work hard to achieve it
You're an awesome Dad and your Son is one awesome young man who is going to do just fine in life...I real worker he is...Bless You and Yours Sir.
I just hope the parents don't let his weight get too far out of hand otherwise the little guy will have a short life!
One hell of a dad! That's what it's all about!😊
Yea spoiling him is what it's all about! Instead of just letting him be a kid! Smmh
Give that kid a push mower
& a trimmer
I admire this young man. Getting a great start in life.
Ferris are the best in my opinion! gonna burn up that PTO engaging it at full throttle though!
Tim, you have a wonderful , loving family, it warms my heart to watch you and your boys working on stuff together. Those memories your kids will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you for sharing your life with us, it shows that America is great, and will always be great!!!
Great choice on the mower Braxton. Congrats and keep getting it.
Wow congrats on the new job buddy 😊 That's what I did when I was at that age but I didn't have a riding mower I had a push mower.
I was around when Ferris introduced their spring suspension and with a professional seat it can’t be beat for comfort.
* dad shows uo with his son and buy a zero turn* . There i fixed your title
More like “daddy buys his perpetually 10 year old son another toy to get more views on UA-cam”
Next week, “I don’t know how we’ll survive this”
Yeah and probably the store give him a killer deal for publicity from the video,
Probably came from the go fund me money from the fire. Everyone giving him money. That's crazy
Kid mows one yard and buys a machine most professionals wish they had😂
Dad is buying a mower for himself. Son will probably get one of his fathers used ones!! Guess mom didn’t spend all dads money.
This ten year old is amazing, with the work ethics better than many adults. How he back up to the trailer!
This young man is going places. Mastering big boy toys that young is amazing, way to go Braxton
Congratulations Brax. That's a nice mower!
This kid has gotten alot handed to him, and I mean alot........
I'm dad and makes me so happy to how much you teach him to work.
Then they get it home and the other guy just takes off with it....yeah umm so who's the mower for?
I bought a 26 HP Farris with a 46" mower deck two years ago for private use and love it. It's built really well.
This is Priceless , I love the family time , responsibility at 10 years old.
I could watch this for hours.
Keep it up !
Brax will be kicking so grass ass. Real soon way to go young man Gentry. Keep up the good work. God Bless Gentry Trucking!!!
You said he's got him a trailer and a little mini truck to pull it around with ? How old is Brax ?? I was thinking he had a few more years to go before he could tear out and head up the road by himself. I'm sure he's perfectly capable, I just didn't think he was quite that old yet.
In Northeast Florida 10 acres will cost you $1,000 minimum. Braxton needs to raise his rates.🤑
Dad you are the Dad of the year and you son is so sweet, and the son of the year!!
Brax sure has a lot of toys and money for a 10 year old, most people would have to work for 10 years straight just to afford a 20k mower.
Agree. He's not working, he's sitting.
Body toll over the years.Ask me how I know.
@@ckfpv looking at your phone complaining about it ain’t getting you any closer to owning a nice mower.
Glad to see young people with a great work ethic. Keep it up Braxton!
Wow give that young man a huge huge hug for me I've never in my 45 years of life witness such a beautiful person enjoy trying and buying his own zero turn mower absolutely melted my heart I need your trick to get my boys outside let alone running a mower
He didn't buy it, his dad did lmao
@@Axle1007 paid out of his own account 10 YEARS OLD........ LISTEN TO WHAT IS BEING SAID IT'S NO STRAIN OR MAYBE IT'S HEARING AID TIME.......
@@juneerasmus3485 😂😂
You did that yourself! You put that screen in their face theircwhole lives and never gave them the attention they needed and now they're nonsocial can't even hold a conversation or have real friends! I guess you don't know you're the parent and can take the games away and make them go outside to play! But you don't know how to let a kid be a kid
I have a commercial lawn business and I'm teaching my 11yo how to landscape...he loves it...good to see young ones working hard..
Good choice Brax. I bought a Ferris a few years ago and it's been a great piece of equipment.
One thing I was wondering though if something happens with the wheel on the mower, does he call the store back and say "I need a new Ferris wheel???"
I wish I lived in Tennessee because I would hire brax to mow my lawn in a heart beat!! Great job buddy and congrats!!!
y'all are makin my OCD kick in.. having worked on a golf course for years..
Chops it up better when you’ve got waist high grass like Tim that hasn’t been cut in 6 months
you are an amazing father teaching all that at such a early age
I've been watching this channel since the beginning , it just doesn't add up.
I agree Woody, Fire doesn't add up, buying old worn-out equipment like crazy doesn't add up, living in a big nice house with acreage and wanting to move back into a mobile home, nope doesn't make sense dumb 😢sense
The cake is a lie
Ya and Braxton has been 10 years old for the last three years do they get to 10 and stop celebrating birthdays? Or is it all a lie?
Braxton ur the best and take after ur dad and keep smiling big man proud of u
So Timmy I guess you don't think your little 10 year old boy should wear a seat belt, while he's building his empire!
Why would he, have you ever seen him wear one while driving anything?
